Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2016;25(8):728-731
Objective To examine the characteristics of dysfunctional attitudes in patients with so?matoform disorders and to delineate the relationship between dysfunctional attitudes and personality disorder tendency. Methods Sixty?four outpatients with somatoform disorder and 52 healthy individuals were recrui?ted and asked to complete the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire( PDQ?4) and the Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale( DAS ) for the evaluation of their personality disorder tendency and cognitive characteristics. DAS scores were compared between patient and control groups. The relationship between DAS and PDQ?4 was e?valuated by comparing DAS scores of patients with and without personality disorder tendency and by correla?ting patients’ total scores of DAS and PDQ?4. Results Patients with somatoform disorder(150.13±31.75) showed significantly higher scores of DAS than healthy controls(121.62±20.30). Moreover, patients with per?sonality disorder tendency exhibited significantly higher scores in the total score of DAS and scores of five factors including vulnerability, absorption/exclusive, compulsion, dependence and cognitive philosophy ( P<0.05) . Finally,a positive correlation was found between total scores of DAS and PDQ?4( r=0.535, P<0.01) and the correlation coefficients between the total score of DAS and Cluster A( r=0.545) and C scores( r=0.625) were significantly higher than that of Cluster B score( r=0.317).Conclusion Patients with somato?form disorders have cognitive distortion, which is correlated with personality disorder tendency.

Objective To study the kindness trait of personality of pupils in grade 5 and 6,and to explore its relationship with childhood abuse. Methods 172 elementary school students were investigated by applying Female had higher scores of generosity, altruism, honesty and kindness trait than male ((41.1±4.4) vs (37.6±6.6),(19.2±3.9) vs (17.1±4.6),(17.3±3.0) vs (15.3±3.5),(77.6±8.8) vss (69.9±12.6), F=tions on kindness trait(P<0.05). Sexual abuse had not predictable functions on kindness trait (P>0.05). Con-clusion There are significant differences of kindness trait among subjects with different genders. Childhood abuse can severely impact the development of kindness trait of personality in puerile.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(13):1199-1202
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical application value of cone-beam CT (CBCT) online correcting technology in volume modulated radiation therapy (VMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
METHOD:
Fifty NPC patients applying head neck and shoulder thermoplastic body membrane fixing device were eligible for treatment VMRT, these patients would accept a couple of CBCT scanning by on board imager (OBI) in a fixed time each week after initial setup and after online correcting during the first three week for radiotherapy, CBCT images and DRR images constructed by CT simulation were carried out registration, which could calculate the setup errors of initial setup and after online correcting.
RESULT:
Fifty patients were accepted 150 scanning after initial setup and 150 scanning after online correcting respectively, the errors after initial setup were (-1.24 ± 1.25)mm in X direction, (1.19 ± 1.85)mm in Y direction, (1.49 ± 1.70) mm in Z direction. The setup errors after online correcting were (-0.13 ± 0.29)mm in X direction, (0.10 ± 0.47)mm in Y direction, (0.17 ± 0.36)mm in Z direction. The setup errors after online correcting were significantly lower than the errors after initial setup in X direction (P < 0.05), Y direction (P < 0.05), Z direction(P < 0.05). The M(PTV) value after online correcting were 0.46 mm, 0.53 mm and 0.59 mm in X, Y and Z directions respectively.
CONCLUSION
The use of CBCT online correcting technology can significantly reduce the setup errors of VMRT for NPC and improve the treatment effect.

Objective To observe imaging characteristics of carotid body tumor and schwannoma in carotid space. Methods CT, MRI and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) appearances of 16 patients with carotid body tumors and schwannomas in carotid space confirmed pathologically were retrospectively analyzed. There were 8 patients with carotid body tumors and 8 patients with schwannomas. Six patients with carotid body tumors and 5 patients with schwannomas underwent CT plain scan. All the patients underwent MR plain and contrast-enhanced scan. Four patients with carotid body tumors and 2 patients with schwannomas underwent DSA examination. Results CT: Six carotid body tumors were lobulated soft tissue masses. The density of the tumors was similar to neck muscles. Two carotid body tumors involving jugular foramen expanded jugular foramen, and the margin was irregular and erosion-destructive. Five schwannomas were ovoid or fusiform soft tissue masses. The density of the tumors was mixed. Two schwannomas involved jugular foramen expanded jugular foramen, and the margin was smooth. MRI: Eight carotid body tumors were lobulated, well-defined, longitudinal growth masses with characteristic high-velocity flow voids. The tumor splayed and surrounded internal carotid artery and external carotid artery. The diameters of the arteries were normal. The tumors intensely enhanced on contrast-enhanced MRI. Eight schwannomas were ovoid or fusiform, well-defined, longitudinal growth masses with heterogeneous signal, splaying carotid artery and jugular vein. The diameters of the vessels were narrow. The tumors nonuniformly enhanced on contrast-enhanced MRI. DSA: Four carotid body tumors showed intense tumor blush, while 2 schwannomas showed slight tumor blush. Conclusion According to the imaging characteristic of the tumors, carotid body tumor and schwannoma in carotid space can be accurately differentiated.

Objective To build the relationship model of childhood aubuse, personality, insecurity and dissociative trait in medical students. Methods Through stratified sampling,262 medical students were investiga?ted by the Personal Report of Childhood Abuse( PRCA) ,Dissociative Trait Scale( DTS) ,Self?Rating Feeling of In?security Scale( SRFIS) ,Revised NEO Five?Factor Inventory( NEO?FFI?R) . A path analysis was applied by AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) version 7.0. Results ①Childhood abuse was positively related to insecurity, dissociative trait and neuroticism( r=0.248~0.361, P<0.01) ,but was passively related to extraversion, agreeable?ness and conscientiousness( r=-0.168~-0.250, P<0.01). Insecurity was positively related to dissociative trait and neuroticism( r=0.479~0.522, P<0.01) ,but was passively related to extraversion, agreeableness and conscien?tiousness( r=-0.234~-0.324, P<0.01). Dissociative trait was positively related to neuroticism( r=0.597, P<0.01) ,but was passively related to openness, extraversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness ( r=-0. 133~-0.453, P<0.05). ②The path analysis showed that childhood abuse was directly related to insecurity(B=0.339, P<0.01)and personality(B=-0.226, P<0.01)of medical students. Personality was directly related to insecurity and dissociative( B=-0.609~-0.363, P<0.01) . Insecurity was directly related to dissociative trait( B=0.448, P<0.01) . Personality and insecurity mediated entirely the relationship between childhood abuse and dissociative trait of medical students. The model fit indexes were χ2/ df =1.151<3.000, P=O.080>0.05,RMSEA=0.024<0.050, GFI=0.935,AGFI=0.909,NFI=0.923,RFI=0.902,IFI=0.989,TLI=0.986 and CFI=0.989. Conclusion Per?sonality and insecurity as mediated variable mediate the relationship between childhood abuse and dissociative trait of medical students. Childhood abuse has no direct effect on dissociative trait of medical students.
