Objective: To investigate the role of social factors on p re dicting dieting behavior Method: 261 girls from middle school o r high school in Beijing finished following tests: Dieting Status Measure, two s ub-scales of Eating Disorder Inventory (driving for thinness and body dissatisfa ction) and social factor inventory, including mother, peer and media influences on dieting Result: Compared with girls in middle school, more g irls in high school were on dieting and with higher level of negative attitude t o body Among social factors, peer competitiveness was found to be the stronges t predictor of dieting and negative attitude to self and body
2.Rate of Eating Disorder in Beijing Girls

Objective: To investigate the rate of eating disorder in B ei jing girls Method: 38 girls were screened out from 261 female adolescents of two schools in Beijing by self-made questionnaire They received structured interview Results: Three of the 38 were diagnosed as eating disorder NOS (with bulimia) according to DSM-IV Conclusion: The detected rate of eating disorder among Beijing female adolescent is 11%

Objective To investigate the current situation of long-term care needs of the elderly with home-based disabil-ity in Beiliu City,and provide data support for the development of Internet plus care services in Beiliu City.Methods A ques-tionnaire survey method was used to design and distribute a survey questionnaire titled"Survey Questionnaire on Home Care Serv-ice Needs of Disabled Elderly People",to investigate the nursing service methods and home care needs of disabled elderly people in Beiliu City.Results Disabled elderly people mainly choose home-based nursing services,with a high demand for basic care,comfortable care,rehabilitation care,psychological care,and other aspects.Conclusion Home care is of great significance for improving the quality of life of disabled elderly people,and requires policy support such as medical insurance to promote the sup-ply of nursing services and meet the care needs of disabled elderly people.
