Objective To explore the principle and methods of surgical management of acute distal colon obstruction caused by colorectal cancer.Methods The data of the cases who received one stage resection in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively,and their surgical management was evaluated comprehensively.Results 34 patients received one stage resection and anastomosis and 6 received delayed anastomosis.All the patients were cured,and no anastomosis fistula or other complications occurred except for 3 cases who were complicated with infection.Conclusion One stage resection and anastomosis was safe for the patients of colorectal cancer complicated with acute disatal colon obstruction as long as the indications were determined appropriately.Colonic irrigation during the operation is essential for one stage anastomosis.

Objective To assess the therapeutic effect and opportune time of surgical treatment of hepaticolithiasis . Methods The clinical data of 92 patients with hepaticolithiasis who underwent surgical treatment were analyzed retrospectively. Results (1) The incidence of postoperative complications was 14.1% (13/92 cases), in choledochoscopy group it was 9.3%(4/43 cases) and in the non choledochoscopy group 18.4%(9/49 cases) ; in the emergency operation group it was 36%(9/25 cases) and in selective operation group 5.97%(4/67 cases) . (2) The incidence of residual stones was 22.9%(21/92 cases); in choledochoscopy group it was 13.9%(6/43 cases) and the non choledochoscopy group 30.6%(15/49 cases); in emergency surgery group it was 36%(9/25 cases) and in selective operation group 17.9%(12/67 cases).(3)One pationt died from ACST two days after operation . All of the patients were followed up for 4-10 years; there were 80 cases (86.9%) who had a good therapeutic outcome. Conclusions Logical surgical procedure associated with choledochoscopy and appropriate timing of surgical intervention can markedly improve the effect of surgical treatment of hepaticolithiasis and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.

Objective Benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH) is one of common diseases in aged males , and searching for new therapeutic drugs to BPH has been a research hotspot in recent years .This article was to study the inhibitory effect of eupatorium ja-ponicum thunb and foeniculum vulgare extract ( EFE) on benign prostatic hyperplasia in rats and its possible mechanism . Methods 48 male rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal control group without any treatment , model group of BPH treated with subcu-taneous injection of testosterone propionate , positive control group of BPH treated with dutasteride , high, middle and low dosage groups according to different EFE dosage (156 mg/kg, 234 mg/kg and 312 mg/kg).45 days after the treatment, the rats were sacrificed for measurement of the prostate glandular wet weight , the index of prostate gland ( PI ) , the morphological changes of prostate gland by light microscopy and the content of sex hormone . Results The prostate wet weight and PI decreased after EFE treatment for 45 days compared with the BPH model group(P<0.01 ).The hyperplastic glandular epithelium papilla waned and even disappeared in three EFE groups under the light microscope , and the epithelial cells became cubical or flat .High dosage EFE group (312 mg/kg) has simi-lar efficacy to dutasteride group .EFE significantly reduced serum testosterone content , dihydrotestosterone content and T/E2 ratio( P<0.05 ). Conclusion EFE can significantly inhibit prostatic hyperplasia in rats , and its mechanism is related to the decrease of the contents of serum testosterone and dihydrotestosterone as well as T/E2 ratio.

A 29-year-old male patient with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma,a nasal type lymphoma with involvement of skin as the first symptom,was reported.The patient presented with swelling in the left side of the nose and suffered intermittent fever for 1 month.The fester in the oral mucosa and skin under the left nostril and redness,and the swelling on the orbit of the left eye lasted for 1 week.Physical examination showed that the left side of nose was swelling,and the skin below the left nostril was anabrotic and crusted.There were different ulcers in his jaws and buccal mucosa.Bilateral eyelid was redness and swelling,especially in the left side.Binocular conjunctival was congestive.The diagnosis of extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (nasal type) was confirmed by biopsy and immunohistochemistry.

Objective To study the safety, reasonableness and feasibility of D 3 lymphadenectomy(LC) for advanced right colon cancer(ARCC). Methods 97 cases of ARCC were divided randomly into two groups: D 2.LC group (55cases) and D 3 LC group (42cases). The climical data between D 3 LC and D 2LC were compared. Objective To study the Diagnosis and treatment of thyroglossal duct cyst or fistula. Methods The clinical data of 67 patients with thyroglossal duct cyst or fistula treated by surgery were analyzed retrospectively. Results The diagnosis rate preoperatively was 92.5% and the accuracy diagnosis rate by B type ultrasonography was 96.1%; all cases were treated by operation, of them, 14 cases underwent simple cyst resection, 12 with resection of partial periosteum of hyoid and 41 with resection of middle segment of hyoid( Sistrunk's operation ). 54 cases were followed up, recurrence in cases with cyst was 4 of 43 (9.3%) and recurrence in cases with fistula was 2 of 11(18.2%)respectively. Conclusion Ultrasonography shows certain characteristics and clinical value to diagnose and distinguish thyroglossal duct cyst. Postoperative recurrence is due to the selection of operation procedures and control of infection of focus. The Sistrunk's operation properly performed previou to cyst infection should reduce recurrence rate markedly.

Rotavirus is the leading causal agent of severe acute gastroenteritis in children aged <5 years. A specific pharmacologic agent for the treatment of rotavirus-infected children is lacking. In China, only the Luo Tewei oral vaccine (Lanzhou Institute of Biological Products, Shanghai, China), which is produced from Lanzhou lamb rotavirus vaccine (LLR), is available. Studies have hypothesized that the genotype of LLR is G10P[12], To identify the genotype of LLR by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, we showed that the VP7 and VP4 genotypes of LLR were G10 and P[15], respectively, based on sequencing, alignment and phylogenetic analyses. In conclusion, we identified the genotype of rotavirus strain LLR to be G10P[15].

Enterovirus 71 (EV71) is a major agent of hand, foot and mouth disease that can cause a severe burden of disease to children. To identify an effective method for the control and prevention of EV71, we studied the effect of exposure to heat and ultraviolet (UV) light upon EV71 inactivation. We found that exposure to 50 degrees C could not inactivate the infectivity of EV71. However, exposure to 60 degrees C and 70 degrees C could inactivate EV71 effectively. EV71 could be inactivated after exposure to UV light at a distance between the sample and a lamp of 30 cm for 30 min or 60 min because viral genomic RNA was destroyed. However, fetal bovine serum (FBS) could attenuate the inactivation proffered by heat and UV light. Attenuation effects of FBS were correlated positively with FBS concentration. Hence, EV71 can be inactivated by exposure to heat and UV light, and our results could provide guidance on prevention of the spread of EV71.

Objective To amplify the nearly-complete sequence of human Bocavirus 1 (HBoV1)and analyze the recombination relationship among HBoV1-4.Methods Five fragments of HBoV1 genome were amplified by PCR from the HBoV1 single positive nasopharyngeal aspirates,then the five fragments were sequenced and analyzed through the blast in nucleotide acid database.The sequence assembly was conducted by DNAMAN,the homogeneous analysis was performed among the HBoV1 sequences that have been published in nucleotide acid database and then created the phylogenetic tree.At last,the recombination relationship was analyzed among HBoV1-4.Results A total 5287 bp length sequence was amplified in this study,which was the nearly-complete sequence of HBoV1 that was named HBoV1-NC.HBoV1-NC had the closest relationship with Chongqing strain,however,had the farthest relationship with Guangzhou strain through the homogeneous analysis.HBoV3 may be a recombinant derived from HBoV1 and HBoV4,HBoV4 may be a recombinant derived from HBoV2 and HBoV3 through recombination analysis of HBoV1-4.Conclusion The nearly-complete sequence HBoV1-NC was amplified in this study and HBoV1-4 had the recombination relationship.

Objective:To investigate the clinical outcome of arthroscopic suture-button Bristow procedure using suture-button fixation for treatment of recurrent anterior shoulder instability.Methods:A retrospective case series study was conducted to analyze 28 patients with recurrent anterior shoulder instability admitted to Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital from March 2015 to September 2018，including 26 males and 2 females，aged 18-36 years ［（24.1 ± 3.2）years］. Preoperative MRI showed Bankart injury and three-dimensional CT showed glenoid bone defect > 15%. The Hill-Sachs injury was found in 27 patients. Arthroscopic Bristow procedure was used to fix coracoid process graft with the suture-button plate and glenoid labial complex was repaired with the suture anchor to treat anterior instability of the shoulder joint. The visual analogue scale （VAS），American shoulder and elbow surgeon （ASES） scale，Constant score and Rowe score were used to evaluate the shoulder joint function preoperatively，at postoperative 3，6，12 months and at the last follow-up. The postoperative infection，neurovascular injury，redislocation and other complications were recorded，and the incidence rate was calculated. The bone resorption and bone healing of coracoid process graft were analyzed by CT.Results:All patients were followed up for 22 - 36 months ［（24.5 ± 6.3） months］. Three months after operation，the VAS，ASES scale and Constant score were not significantly different from those before operation （ P > 0.05）. In comparison，the Rowe score was significantly higher than that before operation （ P < 0.05）. Six and twelve months after operation，the VAS，ASES scale，Constant score and Rowe score were significantly improved from those before operation （ P < 0.05）. At the last follow-up，the VAS decreased from （2.7 ± 1.5）points preoperatively to （0.8 ± 0.3）points，the ASES scale increased from （78.6 ± 12.7）points preoperatively to （92.4 ± 8.4）points，the Constant score increased from （43.4 ± 5.2） points preoperatively to （81.6 ± 6.7） points，the Rowe score increased from （52.3 ± 7.1）preoperatively to （92.7 ± 5.4） points （ P < 0.05）. During the follow-up，there was no infection，neurovascular injury，re-dislocation and other complications. In addition，24 （86%） out of the 28 patient showed healing of coracoid process grafts，and the overall bone resorption rate was （18.4 ± 6.1）%. No patients had glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis. Conclusion:Arthroscopic Bristow procedure using suture-button fixation for treatment of recurrent anterior shoulder instability has advantages of a low rate of postoperative complications and a high union rate，indicating an effective and safe surgical procedure.
