AIM:To investigate the efficacy of controlled continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis(CCC) technique in short axial length and shallow anterior chamber eyes.METHODS:Sixty-eight patients(68 eyes) with short axial length and shallow anterior chamber were included.The routine CCC technique was used in 32 cases (32 eyes) and controlled CCC technique was used in 36 cases (36 eyes).The success rate and complication were compared between two groups. RESULTS:The success rate of the routine technique group and controlled technique group was 53. 13% and 86.11% respectively. Incomplete CCC leading to posterior capsule tears was 9.38% and zero in two groups respectively.CONCLUSION: Controlled CCC technique can increase the success rate and reduce complications in short axial length and shallow anterior chamber eyes.KEYWORDS:phacoemulsification; continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis; complication

Purpose To observe the changes of left atrial (LA) structure and function in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency catheter ablation by echocardiography in order to provide basis for clinical evaluation of surgery.Materials and Methods Forty-four patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and treated with radiofrequency catheter ablation in PLA General Hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were enrolled.According to whether or not to restore sinus rhythm after operation,the patients were divided into sinus rhythm group and atrial fibrillation recurrence group.The paramrters of LA including diameter,maximum and minimum volume,systolic volume,ejection fraction,active ejection fraction,conduit function index and dilatation index were measure by echocardiography before and at least 6 months after radiofrequency catheter ablation.The data were compared between and within groups.Results All patients were followed up for (6.0±0.5) months after ablation operation.29 of 44 patients (66％) maintained sinus rhythm;the anteroposterior,vertical,and left to right diameters of LA in patients with sinus rhythm after operation were significantly lower than those before operation,but the ejection fraction of LA increased (all P＜0.05).However,in patients with atrial fibrillation recurrence after operation,the volume of LA increased (P＜0.05);the diameters of LA did not show significant differences;the ejection and active ejection fraction of LA had significantly decreased (P＜0.05).Compared with patients with sinus rhythm after operation,patients with atrial fibrillation recurrence after operation were older and had higher proportion of hypertension (P＜0.05).Conclusion After ablation,the diameter of LA decreases and the ejection fraction increases in patients with sinus rhythm;the volume of LA increases and the function reduces in patients with atrial fibrillation recurrence.

To construct a secretory-expression vector of antimicrobial peptide Bactenecin 7(Bac7),and identify the secretory-expression product in L.lactis MG1363 and its bioactivity.The splicing primers of regulation elements and Bac7 gene,which designed according to codon usage preferences of L.lactis MG1363,were chemically synthesized,and the overlap-extension PCR method was used to splice the full length of Bac7 gene.Then the Bac7 gene was linked to expression vector pMG36e to construct pMG36e/Bac7 vector,and pMG36e/Bac7 was transformed into L.lactis MG1363 by electrophoration.RT-PCR and Western blot assays were applied to investigate the expression of the Bac7 gene in L.lactis,and bioactivity of Bac7 in culture supernatant of L.lactis was tested with plate-diffusion method.The results showed that the Bac7 gene and its regulation elements was amplified and cloned in the vector pMG36e successfully,The secretory-expressed Bac7 in L.lactis MG1363 harboring pMG36e/Bac7 was identified by Western blot,and it had high bacteriostatic activity against E.coli.These results indicate that the recombinant L.lactis MG1363 could express bioactive Bac7,which lays a foundation for further study of oral administration of a Bac7-secreting L.lactis to treat intestinal bacteria infection.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method versus ordinary acupuncture on superficial fascia for treating neck type cervical spondylopathy in Kyrgyz. Methods:A total of 64 Kyrgyz patients conforming to the diagnostic criteria of neck type cervical spondylopathy were included. The patients were randomized into a Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group and a conventional acupuncture group, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in the Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group were treated with Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method to stimulate the superficial fascia, the stimulation sites were primarily located at bilateral sides of the cervical vertebra as well as the trigger points in shoulder-neck region; patients in the conventional acupuncture group were punctured at the same acupoints, with twirling reducing method, and the depth of insertion was determined by the treated region. Patients in both groups received treatment every day for a succession of 5 d as a course, with a 2-day interval between 2 courses, and the whole treatment lasted for 3 courses. After 3 courses of treatment, the McGill pain questionnaire (MPQ) and neck disability index (NDI) were measured to compare the clinical effect between the two groups. Results: After treatment, scores of MPQ and NDI scale dropped when compared with those before treatment, and the differences showed statistical significance (allP<0.05); scores of MPQ and NDI in the Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group were substantially lower than those in the conventional acupuncture group, and the differences showed statistical significance (allP<0.05). The total effective rate was 96.9％ in the Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group and the cured rate was 78.1％, which were higher than 81.3％ and 40.6％ in the conventional acupuncture group, and the differences showed statistical significance (bothP<0.05). Conclusion: Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method by stimulating superficial fascia to treat cervical spondylopathy in Kyrgyz can produce a better clinical effect than conventional acupuncture treatment, and is effective in improving pain and stiffness in patients, and thus is worth clinical popularization.

To study the chemical components and the antifungal activity of extraction from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2.The extraction were obtained by distilling with Methylene dichloride from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2 cultured on wheat bran solid matrix.Antifungal activity were determined by mycelium growth method.The chemical components of the extraction were analysed by GC-MS,the relative components in the extraction were determined by area normalization.The extraction not only have broad-spectrum control,showed antibiosis against eleven different plant fungal pathogens in PDA dish,such as Rhizoctonia solani,Alternaria brassica,Verticillium dahliae,Macrophoma kawatsukai,Fusarium moniliforme,Botrytis cinerea,Rhizoctonia cerealis,Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.vasinfectum,Bipolaris sorokinana,Fusarium graminearum,Alternaria.mali,but also have high inhibitory effect,and had 89.3% suppressive rate to Rhizoctonia cerealis.About sixty components were separated and identified by GC-MS,majority components were Hydrocarbon,the number of the Hydrocarbon were fourty-three kinds.Ergosterol was the major chemical components of the extract,and has 41.90% content.Other components comprised:Ketone,Organic acid,Alcohol,Ene,et al.Conclusion:The extraction from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2 have antifungal activity.The extration comprised 2H-Pyran-2-one,5,6-dihydro-6-pentyl,it has 2.35% content.reference others literature,2H-Pyran-2-one,5,6-dihydro-6-pentyl may be the suppressive component of the extration.
