Objective To manufacture the skin suction blister apparatus and observe the curative effect of autologous epidermal grafting in treating vitiligo.Methods According to the theory of local skin suction blister: local skin suction blister is decided by the two facts of the negative pressure and temperature,the skin suction blister apparatus was manufactured based on feedback principle,and was applied to autologous epidermal grafting for treating vitiligo.Results The performance of skin suction blister apparatus was stable,the operation was relative simple,and the total survival grade of autologous epidermal grafting was 98.01%.Conclusion The skin suction blister apparatus is simple to operate and its curative effect is excellent for clinical application.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of dermatosis affecting pilots in different areas. Methods From Oct. 2007 to Sep. 2008,epidemiological investigation and clinical examination were carried out in 255 pilots stationed at Beijing,Tianjin,Hubei and Shaanxi regions. In order to get the correct diagnosis of dermatosis and the accurate number of infection cases/time,same medication and management were applied for the treatment of those skin disorders. The epideomology of dermatosis in pilots of different troops and age groups were then compared,and the correlation factors affecting the epidemics were analyzed with Chi-square test. Results Among 255 pilots,430 cases (times) were found to suffer from 47 kinds of dermatosis,of whom 72% suffered from two or more kinds of dermatosis. The incidence of superficial mycosis (69.8%) took ranked the highest. The incidence of dermatosis was different among the pilots stationed in different regions. Objective:To analyze the activities of human NKG2D ligand MICA/B promoter induced by 5-Fu.Methods:The 5'-end flanking regions of MICA /B promoter and their different truncated fragments were amplified from A549 genome by PCR. The resulting amplicons were cloned into pGL3-Basic vector to generate the MICA/B luciferase reporter plasmids. All the constructs were transiently transfected A549 cells. The promoter region activities were determined by dual-luciferase reporter assays. The effect of 5-Fu on the promoter activities of MICA/B was also tested.Results and Conclusion:The 5'-end flanking regions of MICA /B promoter and five of their different truncated fragments were successfully obtained. The normalized luciferase reporter gene activities driven by the above promoters and fragments were 3.61,2.26,1.63,0.313,0.711 and 0.663 for MICA and 17.49,10.11,7.398,0.822,0.997 and 0.49 for MICB,respectively. Promoter activities in transiently transfected A549 cells treated by 20,40,80,160 and 320 μg/m of 5-Fu increased 1.69,1.48,1.62,1.55 and 1.78 fold for MICA and 1.44,1.87,1.38,1.19 and 1.25 fold for MICB. Our results suggest that 5-FU can significantly up-regulate the promoter activity of both MICA and MICB.

So far there exists no corresponding quality test procedures and grading standards for the seed of Prunus humilis, which is one of the important source of base of semen pruni. Therefor we set up test procedures that are adapt to characteristics of the P. humilis seed through the study of the test of sampling, seed purity, thousand-grain weight, seed moisture, seed viability and germination percentage. 50 cases of seed specimens of P. humilis tested. The related data were analyzed by cluster analysis. Through this research, the seed quality test procedure was developed, and the seed quality grading standard was formulated. The seed quality of each grade should meet the following requirements: for first grade seeds, germination percentage ≥ 68%, thousand-grain weight 383 g, purity ≥ 93%, seed moisture ≤ 5%; for second grade seeds, germination percentage ≥ 26%, thousand-grain weight ≥ 266 g, purity ≥ 73%, seed moisture ≤9%; for third grade seeds, germination percentage ≥ 10%, purity ≥ 50%, thousand-grain weight ≥ 08 g, seed moisture ≤ 13%.

In the criminal cases of driving under the influence (DUI), DNA evidence can be collected from the deployed airbag of the motor vehicle and submitted to the crime lab for touch DNA analysis. The evidence can be acquired when the skin cells are observed on the surface of the airbag in a traffic accident. However, the low quantity or quality of the evidence collected from a crime scene prevents further identification analysis in many cases. In the current study, we reported a case of identifying touch DNA extraction from the shed skin cells from the deployed airbag of a motor vehicle. We managed to collect DNA evidence from the shed skin cells in an airbag using a proper approach of collection and extraction. The 5.87 ng of extracted DNA was sufficient for genotyping and forensic identification, which helped to identify the driver of the car in collision with a pier in the street. In DUI cases and other traffic accidents, therefore, the amount of touch DNA extracted from the deployed airbag can be sufficient for DNA marker genotyping and further analysis.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the influence of different tranexamic acid administration methods during and after cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) on coagulation function and postoperative bleeding.

METHODSPatients undergoing elective cardiac surgery with use of CPB (n=60) were randomized in a double-blind fashion to one of two treatment groups:group A(n=30) , administered with tranexamic acid 10 mg/kg (intravenous injection slowly before skin incision) , followed by infusion of normal saline until postoperative 12 hours;and group B(n=30) , administered with tranexamic acid 10 mg/kg(intravenous injection slowly before skin incision) , followed by infusion of tranexamic acid 1 mg/(kg·h) until postoperative 12 hours. Hemoglobin, platelet count, and coagulation function were assessed before anesthesia induction, after surgery, 8am next day and 24 hours after surgery. Bleeding, allogeneic blood transfusion, and fluid infusion during the postoperative 24 hours were recorded.

RESULTNo differences were found between groups in terms of coagulant function, postoperative bleeding, allogeneic blood transfusion, and fluid infusion(P>0.05) .

CONCLUSIONCompared with intraoperative administration alone, prolonged treatment with tranexamic acid after cardiac surgery shows no advantage because it can not further improve coagulant function, reduce bleeding, or reduce allogeneic blood transfusion.
