Cancer Research and Clinic 1999;0(05):-
Tumor metastasis is a primary cause of leading to death of tumor patients, and difficult to control. The relationship between primary tumor(PT)and metastasis tumor(MT)is extremely complicated. Considerable animal experiments and clinical data confirm that treatment of PT encourages the growth of MT, but the mechanism is not still fully clear. Some studies show that the density depression of antiangiogenesis factor and immune escape of tumor cell are main reasons for MT accelerated growth. This article reviews the animal experiment, clinical observation and occurrence mechanism of primary tumor treatment promoting tu- mor metastasis.

To obtain the genome sequence of human bocavirus 2 (HBoV2), different regions of HBoV2 genome were amplified through PCR in fecal specimens which had been identified as single-positive for HBoV2 in 2010. A genome sequence of HBoV2 (HBoV2-NC, 5444 bp) was obtained after sequence assembly. The phylogenetic analysis showed that HBoV2-NC had the closest evolutionary relationship with HBoV2 Lanzhou strain. The predication of inverted terminal repeats of HBoV2-NC by DINAMelt showed that inverted terminal repeats were contained in HBoV2-NC 5' terminal, which had the typical stem-loop structure in other parvoviruses. Finally, some flanking sequences of HBoV2-NC were amplified by linker-PCR.

Human bocavirus 1 (HBoV1) is a novel virus that mainly causes respiratory tract infection, and it has the characteristic of genome of Parvovirus, containing three open reading frames that encode non-structural proteins NS1 and NP1 and structural proteins VP1 and VP2. Circular episome is present during the rolling circle replication of HBoV1, which provides the possibility of full genome amplification and infectious clone construction to save HBoV1. The recombination between HBoV1 and HBoV2-4 occurs frequently. With the three-dimensional culture, in vitro culture of HBoV1 provides a powerful tool for research on the pathogenesis of HBoV1. This review focuses on the molecular characteristics, association with diseases, in vitro culture, diagnosis and treatment of HBoV1.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2011;27(9):733-735
Thirty healthy women and 101 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) were recruited. According to serum testosterone (T) level and homeostasis model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) ,the correlation of T and body mass index (BMI) with insulin resistance was analyzed. The results showed that there were 39. 8% normal,24. 5% overweight, and 35.7% obese among 101 PCOS patients. However, there were no significantly differences in BMI, fasting plasma glucose ( FPG ), triglyceride ( TG ), total cholesterol ( TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol ( LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol ( HDL-C ), and HOMA-IR levels between PCOS patients with hyperandrogenemia ( T ≥ 0. 51 μg/L) and normal androgenemia ( T < 0. 51 μg/L). BMI, FPG, TG, TC, and LDL-C levels were higher and HDL-C level was lower in patients with insulin resistance( HOMA-IR ≥ 2. 29 ) than in patients without insulin resistance ( HOMA-IR < 2. 29, P<0. 05 or P< 0. 01 ). Serum T levels were not significantly different between two groups. HOMA-IR was significantly correlated with BMI(P<0. 01 ), not with serum T, suggesting that the gain of body weight is correlated with insulin resistance independent of serum T level.

Objective To investigate the rule of the cerebral tissues aquaporin-4(AQP-4) expression in acute and chronic hepatic failure mice.To study the molecular biologic mechanism of the diffusion weighted imaging(DWI).Methods Sixty five male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups randomly, including acute(n=25),chronic hepatic failure(n=25)and control group(n=15). Thioacetamide(TAA)intraperitoneal injection produces the acute and chronic hepatic failure models. All rats in groups were examined with MR DWI.We Observed the distribution of abnormal signal on DWI.The DWI single values of top and lateral cortex of parietal lobe, peripheral region of lateral ventricle in the highest hyperintensity section of brain were measured.Blood ammonia values were examined. The pathologic and immuno-histochemistry and RT-PCR examination for brain specimen were performed. All date were analyzed with statistical methods. Results The mean values of blood ammonia were significantly different (P0.05).Conclusions Increase of the blood ammonia was the main cause for the brain energy metabolic abnormality and AQP-4 mRNA and protein expression. The hyperammonemia was the key factor in the occurrence and development of the hepatic brain edema. The abnormal findings in DWI signal could reflect the range and degree of the brain edema and AQP-4 protein expression.

Aim To study relative bioavailablity of cefaclor effervescent tablets in healthy volunteers. Methods According to the crossover design, A volunteers were each orally given a single does of the 0.75 g cefaclor effervescent tablets and cefaclor capsules with an interval of 5 days between the two formulations. The plasma concentrations of the drug were determined by RP-HPLC.Pharmacokinetic parameters were obtained by ATPK programe, and calculated on the basis of open single compartment model. Results After a single oral dose, the peak levels in plasma averaged Cmax(31.27?5.81)?g?ml-1 and(30.56?5.25) ?g?ml-1 at (0.58?0.12)h and(0.73?0.17)h and AUC0~4(35.48?4.65) ?g?h?ml-1 and (35.89?2.90) ?g?h?ml-1 for tablet and capsule, respectively. Conclusion The result shows that two formulations are bioequivalence.

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
Growth patterns of trichome and contaminative bacteria in Spirulina sp. liquid culture were observed, and it was found that the number of neutral and alkalophilic bacteria was always 105~106 times of that of Spirulina sp. trichome. It would be very difficult to get real pure Spirulina sp. strain by classical methods of dilution plate, capillary and single trichome selecting methods. A great deal of contaminative bacteria was washed out by two pretreatment processes. Low speed centrifugation was designed to wash the strains which usually deposit at bottom, and filtration method was designed to treat the strains usually floating at surface. Sandwich plate and dilution plate were designed for the purification of the mobile strains and non-mobile strains, respectively. A lot of strains were purified by the above processes and pure single trichome formed pure colonies on plates.

Objective To discuss the technique and value of preoperative reformatting with three-dimensional computed tomography technique for C_2 pedicle screw track. Methods GE Light Speed 16 Pro spinal CT scans of 15 adult dry vertebrae were loaded into an imaging station (software ADW4.2).Two methods of C_2 pedicle screw techniques were analyzed through virtual screw trajectory by VR (volume rendering) and MPR (multiple planar reformatting) techniques,in method A,screw entry point was the intersection between the media-vertical and the cranial line of C_2 inferior facet joint,in method B,the screw track was from the cranial and medial quadrant of the dorsal part of C_2 inferior facet joint. Results The screw track could be observed dynamically from any plane. Two vertebrae were ob- served with smaller height in isthmus and the medial edge of the transverse foramen since no space was a- vailable for the screw. The screw trajectories data were compared between method A and method B,which showed that the angles towards the cephalad (in sagittal plane) and midline (in transverse plane) were bigger in method A than in method B (P<0.05,0.01),but the safe screw diameter was smaller in method A than in method B (P<0.05),and there was no difference of the screw length between the two methods(P<0.05 ).Conclusion In this research, the individual C_2 pedicle screw entry points, screw diameter and security screw angle can be simulated, and the screw track can be observed dynami- cally to make sure if it transits the bone structure completely.Preoperative three-dimensional computed tomography reformatting for pedicle screw track is of great value in clinical and basic researches.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the electrocardiographic (ECG) characteristics and results of radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of idiopathic ventricular tachycardia or premature ventricular contractions (VT/PVCs) originating in the vicinity of atrioventricular annulus.
METHODSNineteen patients with idiopathic VT/PVCs underwent conventional electrophysiological study and RFCA were included in this analysis. The 12 leads (ECG) characteristics were also analyzed.
RESULTSThe VT/PVCs were originated in the vicinity of mitral annulus in 10 cases, including anterolateral (n = 5), posterolateral (n = 3) and posteroseptal (n = 2). The VT/PVCs were originated in the vicinity of tricuspid annulus in the rest 9 cases, including the free wall (n = 5) and the septal portion (n = 4). The 12-lead ECG patterns of VT/PVCs originating in the vicinity of atrioventricular annulus were helpful for determine the site of RFCA. The VT/PVCs were successfully eliminated by RFCA in all cases.
CONCLUSIONThe exact origin of VT/PVCs originating in the vicinity of atrioventricular annulus could be determined by 12-leads ECG analysis and can be successfully and safely cured by RFCA.
