Objective To imporve the quality standard of Lianqiaobaidu Pills. Methods The TLC method was established for ephedrae herba, sophorae flavescentis radix, paeoniae radix rubra, and RP-HPLC methed was established for the determination of chlorogenic acid in Lianqiaobaidu Pills. Zorbax SB-C18 (4.6 mm×150 mm, 5 μm) column was used with methanol-acetonitrile (2∶1) - 0.04% phosphoric acid (10∶90) as the mobile phase at flow rate of 0.8 mL/min. The detection wavelength was 326 nm. Results TLC chromatographic spots were clear, and negative control had no interference. The linear range of chlorogenic acid was 0.042 2-0.464 2 μg (r=1), the average recovery (n=6) was 98.96%. Conclusion The method is simple, reliable, with strong exclusive feature, and suitable for quality control of Lianqiaobaidu Pills.

Objective To establish determination method of luteolin-7-O-glucoside in Compound Luobuma Granule. Methods Phenomenex luna C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm, 5 μm) was used;aceto-0.5% acetic acid (14∶86) was set as the mobile phase at flow rate of 0.8 mL/min;the detection wavelength was 348 nm. Results The linear range of luteolin-7-O-glucoside was in the range of 0.031 9-0.796 3 μg (r=0.999 6), and the average recovery was 100.85% (n=6). Conclusion The method is specific, simple, and can improve quality standard and increase the controllability of Compound Luobuma Granule.

Objective To analyze the clinical conditions and emergency treatment experiences of acute and chronic renal failure with hyperpotassemia. Methods Retrospective analyzed 542 clinical cases of supervening hyperpotassemia, which were treated by hemodialysis on 186 patients of renal failure with hyperpotassemia for 5 years. Results 540 cases clinical symptom was improved, serum potassium concentration was down to normal range and hyperpotassemia disappeared in electro cardiogram. 2 cases died after salvage. Rate of success was 99.6%. Conclusion Hemodialysis therapy is the most effective treatment to hyperpotassemia. Use bicarbonate with kalium pH indicator of 3.0～3.5mmol/L in dialysis is useful to lower hyperpotassemia, and safe also. In the early stage of hemodialysis, pure ultrafiltration dehydration treatment is not suitable. There is still danger of heartbeat stop deal to high kalium in the early stage of dialysis; emergency treatments should be standby all the time.

Objective To study prevention and treatment for patients during the intermittent period of maintaining hemodialysis complicated by acute left heart failure. Aim The seminal plasma of 51 cases of infertile were studied with the PCR technice and ELISA method, of which 20 spectimens (39. 2％ )were Uu positive, 18 spectimens (35. 3 ％ ) were AsAb positive, positive of Uu and AsAb were 11 specimens(21.6％ ). Objective To explore the pathological changes by CT scan on localized thermochemotherapy dur- ing and after the operation of human gliomas.Methods Retrospective analysis was given to the CT scan of 37 pa- tients receiving thermochemotherapy during and after the operation,and the relation of the tumorous cells and mi- crovessels and CT density by EM were analyzed.Changes of tumorous cells and microvessels after localized ther- mochemotherapy on C_6 gliomas in rat were analyzed.Results When the tumor was low dense on CT pattern,less cellular number with increasing the amount of fluid between the cells was demonstrated pathologically.On EM,a lower cellular electron density was observed.The amount of fluid in cytoplasm was increased,the cytoplasm was porous,swelling denaturation was chiefly seen in organelle.If the tumor had mixed density on CT,cellular number was more,the amount of fluid was less.On EM,cellular electron density increased correspondingly,the fluid in cyto- plasm decreased,organdie was aggregated.After thermochemotherapy,the tumor reduced,liquefied,and vanished by CT scan.It could be observed that the tumorous cell become smaller,concentrated and cataclased,finally formed apoprotic bodies and separated from the cell in C_6 gliomas in EM.The tumorous vessels was less,smaller and thinker. Some vessels only could see the base membrane and no endothelioid cells.Conclusion The remaining tumors is van- ished by CT scan.The mechanisms of tumors disappearance proposes to explain that thermochemotherapy can dam- age C_6 glioma cells and microvessels,decrease microvessels density and induce tumor ceils apoptosis.That inhibits tu- morous angiogenesis and proliferation.

To establish a new method for identifying genus of Lilium by DNA barcoding technology, ITS, ITS2, psbA-trnH, matK and rbcL sequences were analyzed in term of variation of inter- and intra-species, barcoding gap, neighbor-joining tree to distinguish genus of Lilium based on 978 sequences from experimental and GenBank database, and identification efficiency was evaluated by Nearest distance and BLAST1 methods. The results showed that DNA barcoding could identify different species in genus of Lilium. ITS sequence performed higher identification efficiency, and had significant difference between intra- and inter-species. And NJ tree could also divide species into different clades. Results indicate that DNA barcoding can identify genus of Lilium accurately. ITS sequence can be the optimal barcode to identify species of Lilium.

Objective To investigate the effect of interferon-γ(IFN-γ) on the expression of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO),and tryptophanyl-tRNA-synthetase (TTS) in thyrocytes; and to study the relevant immunopathological significance in Graves' disease.Methods The expressions of IDO and TTS genes in IFN-γ stimulated Nthy-ori3-1 cell line and human thyrocytes,as well as in human thyroid tissues were determined by realtime quantitative PCR.Results IDO and TTS genes were expressed slightly in both Nthy-ori3-1 cell line and human thyrocytes,and were significantly up-regulated after IFN-γ stimulation(P＜0.01).Compared to healthy controls,TTS mRNA level was higher in thyroid tissues of patients with Graves' disease (P =0.018 2),while IDO mRNA level showed no difference,but was notably correlated with IFN-γ mRNA level (R2 =0.716,P =0.002).Conclusion In the early stage of Graves' disease,thyrocytes may decompose local tryptophan by enhancing the expression of IDO and TTS under IFN-γstimulation,thus inhibit auto-reactive function of lymphocytes and balance excessive autoimmune reaction.

Nine compounds were isolated from the n-butanol fraction of 95% ethanol extract of the fruit of Alpinia oxyphylla Miq. with a combination of various chromatographic approaches, including MDS resin, silica gel, reverse phase C18 and preparative HPLC. On the basis of spectroscopic data analysis, they were elucidated as (1R, 4R, 10R)-1β, 4α-dihydroxy-11, 12, 13-trinor-5, 6-eudesmen-7-one (1), 1β, 4β-dihydroxy-11, 12, 13-trinor-8, 9-eudesmen-7-one (2), oxyphyllenone A (3), oxyphyllenone B (4), rhamnocitrin (5), staphylionoside D (6), benzyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7), 2-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1S)-phenylethylene glycol (8), and (S)-1-phenylethyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (9). Among them, compound 1 is a new sesquiterpene, named as oxyphyllenone C; compounds 8 and 9 are new natural products; compounds 2 and 6 were isolated from the genus Alpinia for the first time, and compound 7 was isolated from A. oxyphylla for the first time.
