Objective To discuss the video-urodynamic characteristics and management in infra-sacral cord injured patients. Methods The video-urodynamic finding and managements in 169 patients was reviewed. They were followed up for 2 years. Results Detrusor areflexia was found in 76.33% (129/169) patients, among them there were 27.22% (46/169) patients appeared hyper-compliance, and 7.10% (12/169) patients appeared reflux. The video-urodynamic characteristics showed over activity and low-compliance in 12.43% (21/169) patients, including reflux in 5 cases. Different management was chosen according to the video-urodynamic examination. No special complication was observed after 2 years follow-up. Conclusion The majority patients with infra-sacral cord injury appeared detrusor areflexia and hyper-compliance. Special management according to the video-urodynamic characteristics is important for protecting upper urinary tract and preventing urinary system infection.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(10):1122-1124
Objective To explore a simple and effective way of establishing a mice orthotopic tracheal transplantation model in studying bronchiolitis obliterans to reduce operation time. Methods Tracheas from C57BL/6 mice (n=30) were im?planted into Balb/c mice (n=30). Grafts and hosts were matched according to body weight.Orotracheal intubation and endo-stentwas used for trachea anastomose and animal model was establish. Operating time was also noted. Grafts were harvest?ed on Days 15, 30 and 60 after transplantation, using HE staining to observe pathological changes of allograft. Trachea block?ing rate was also calculated. Results Until survival of trachea transplantation, the operative time of donor′s and the recipi?ent′tracheas resection were (7.0±1.0) min and (7.0±1.0) min respectively.Orotracheal intubation the endo-stentestablish?ment cost(1 ± 0.5)min. Trachea anastomose took(20.0 ± 4.0)min and the operation time last(43.0 ± 10.0)min. Conclusion The improvement of orthotopic tracheas transplantation usingOrotracheal intubation the endo-stenfor trachea anastomose is esay-operated and did required complicate skills and instruments with high successful rate. So it is an ideal and stable model in studying bronchiolitis obliterans.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic and differentiable value of video-electroencephalogram(VEEG)in sleeping-related seizure disorder.Method Sixty-five cases with sleeping-related seizure disorders(35 suspected epilepsy and 30 suspected non-epileptic seizure)enrolled in our clinics from Jan.2005 to Jun.2006 were examined by VEEG and EEG.Results Among 35 children suspected to have the possibility of epilepsy, the epileptic discharge rate examined with VEEG was 62.86%(22/35),which were significantly higher than that by EEG was 17.14%(6/35)(P

OBJECTIVE:
To study the objectivity and reliability of needle electromyography and nerve conduction for detection of musculus extensor digitorum brevis strength, which may provide a basis for establishing a quantitative detection of muscle strength in forensic clinical study.
METHODS:
Forty-four healthy people were enrolled as the subjects, and during toe dorsiflexion, the following items including needle electromyography indexes, motor unit potential (MUP) amplitude, MUP count, recruitment reaction type, and nerve conduction detection indexes, compound muscle action potential (CMAP) amplitude, CMAP latent period and motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV), were simultaneously detected under the cooperation and disguise condition.
RESULTS:
Under the cooperation condition, regardless of the same operator or different operators, there were good test-retest reliabilities in MUP amplitude, CMAP amplitude, CMAP latent period and MNCV, while there were normal test-retest reliabilities in MUP count and recruitment reaction type and the repeatability of the same operator was slightly better than the repeatability between different operators. Under the disguise condition, test-retest reliabilities of MUP amplitude, CMAP amplitude, CMAP latent period and MNCV were relatively high, while test-retest reliabilities of MUP count and recruitment reaction type were relatively low.
CONCLUSION
There are good test-retest reliabilities in MUP amplitude, CMAP amplitude, CMAP latent period and MNCV, which can be conducive to comparison between different operators and results at various times; MUP count and recruitment reaction type, which can be easily affected by subjectivity of operators and examinees, can be used to differentiate whether an examinee disguises or not. The indexes used to objectively judge muscle strength remain to be further investigated.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of diacerhein in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods The efficacy and safety of diacerhein was randomly investigated in 42 pa- tients with knee osteoarthritis using parallel group methodology and a double-dummy technique to ensure dou- ble blind status with respect to diacerhein and control drugs diclofenac. Results Significant changes were ob- served in 20 meters walk pain, knee joint tenderness scale,WOMAC index scale,5F-36 health survey, knee joint swelling scale, compared with baseline(P>0.05)in both diacerhein and diclofenac group respectively. No difference was found between diacerhein group and diclofenae group. The patient global assessment and physi- cian's global assessment were similar in diacerhein group and diclofenac group(P>0.05).The side effect was similar in two groups. All of these side effects in gastrointestinal tract appeared to be transient. Conclusion Diacerhein can effectively relieve pain and swelling of knee osteoarthritis, and provides us a new effective and safe approach for treating knee osteoarthritis.

Objective To study the clinical correlated factors of renal damage in henoch-schonlein purpura (HSP).Methods One hundred cases with HSP were retrospectively studied. Accoding to the urinary route examination, the patients were devided into 2 groups, HSP with (49 cases) and without renal damaged (51 cases). In addition, the group of HSP with renal damaged was further diveded into 2 groups, HSP with urinary abnormality passingly (27 cases) and persistently (22 cases). Clinical indicators were statistical analysed. Results To be compared with HSP without renal damaged, age, apread of the purpura, abdominal pain, hemorrhage of digestive tract were higher in HSP with renal damaged (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(23):-
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of progesterone on progesterone receptor in brain tissue with hypoxia-ischemia brain da-mage(HIBD) in neonatal rats, and discuss the protective mechanism of progesterone on HIBD of neonatal rats.MethodsTwenty-four 7-day-old neonatal rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:sham-operated group,hypoxia-ischemia group and pretreatment group.Rats in hypoxia-ischemia group and pretreatment group were subjected to left common carotid artery ligation, then were exposed to 80 mL/L oxygen and 920 mL/L nitrogen gas in 37 ℃ closed container for up to 2.5 h to establish hypoxia-ischemia encephalopathy(HIE) model.Progestero-ne was injected intraperitoneally into pretreatment group rats respectively at 30 minutes before hypoxia, solution was injected into the first 2 groups. All rats were killed at the 24 hour after operation, immunohistochemistry staining was used to examine the expression of progesterone receptor in brain.ResultsTotally 24 neonatal rats entered the result analysis without loss.Progesterone receptor was expressed in both endochylema and nucleus in every group rat.The amount of the positive cell of progesterone receptor in hypoxia-ischemia group significantly decreased compared with that in sham-operated group(P
