Objective To apply the urethral pressure profile(UPP)in patients with benign prostates hypertrophy(BPH).Methods 71 patients with BPH accepted the test of UPP.The UPP parameters were compared statistically with the ultrasonography finding. Results The maximum urethral pressure, maximum urethral closure pressure and prostatic urethral length in BPH were higher than normal(P<0.01).Conclusion The test of urethral pressure profile(UPP)is helpful for identifying the site of obstruction and degrees in BPH patients, although there are some limits.

Objective To investigate the impact of detrusor hyperactivity with impaired contractile function(DHIC)on voiding function in benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods68 patients with BPH accepted the test of urodynamics. The urodynamic parameters between DHIC group and no DHIC group were compared statistically.ResultsThe residual urine in DHIC group was larger and the detrusor pressure at Qmax, the bladder volume were smaller than that in no DHIC group(P<0.01).ConclusionDHIC worsens the voiding function of the patients with BPH,and the test of urodynamic is helpful to diagnose and to treat it.

Objective To analyze the direct and indirect effects of influencing factors on suicide ideation among college students based on the structural equation model. Methods 1505 college students were investigated with ASLEC, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, SSRS, QSA and BDI. Results Incidence rate of college students' suicidal ideations during the past year was 6.67%. The goodness of fit for the structural equation model was satisfactory and 3 major indices( x2/df = 2.23, GFI = 0. 982, RMSEA = 0. 029 ) had met corresponding requirements. The depression was directly influencing factor on suicide ideation, while four factors including passive coping style, social support, positive coping style and suicide attitude, had indirect impacts. Negative life event not only directly affected suicide ideation, but also had indirect effects. According to the percentages of their contribution, the risk factors were ranked as follows:depression (41.08%), negativity life event (35.35%) and passive coping style (6.05%). Similarly, the top protective factor was: social support ( 11.94% ), followed by positive coping style (4.94%) and suicide attitude (0.63%). Conclusion Depression is an important risk factor of suicide, and has a direct impact. So, not only strengthen the mental health of college students, but also train students to face up the difficulties with a positive style, and make the college students get social supports sufficiently.

Fourteen compounds were isolated by column chromatography from the ethyl acetate extract of the seeds of Brassica campestris. Their structures were elucidated by physicochemical properties and spectroscopic data analysis. The isolated compounds were respectively identified as (5Z,7E)-4, 4-dimethyl-5-acetyl-5, 7-nonadienoic acid (1), indole-3-carboxaldehyde (2), blumenol A (3), vinylsyringol (4), sinapinic acid (5), sinapic acid ethyl ester (6), protocatechuic acid (7), crinosterol (8), campesterol (9), 7-oxo-stigmasterol (10), kaempferol (11), 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (12), syringic acid (13) and daucosterol (14). Compound 1 was a new compound and the other compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time except for compounds 4, 5 and 13.

OBJECTIVETo establish an HPLC fingerprint to evaluate the quality of Polygalae Radix, root xylem, and those collected in different growth ages or harvest time.
METHODSeparation was performed at 30 °C on a Kromasil C18 column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 μm); the mobile phases was acetonitrile and 0.05% H3PO4 water in the gradient elution; the flow rate was set at 1.0 mL · min(-1) and the detection wavelength at 314 nm; the quality discriminant analyses were accomplished by means of similarity analysis, cluster analysis, principal component analysis and neural network model.
RESULTIn 26 batches of Polygalae Radix, 24 batches fingerprint similarities were above 0.8. In 5 different growth or harvest time batches, 4 batches were above 0.8; in 8 batches root xylem samples, the similarities were all above 0.875. The similarity analysis was in accord with the quality discriminant analysis of cluster analysis, principal component analysis and neural network model.
CONCLUSIONFingerprint combined with chemical pattern recognition technique can effectively evaluate the quality of Polygalae Radix. The active substance species are all similar in cultivated, wild, different growth or harvest time Polygalae Radix and polygala root xylem, but the chromatography peak areas are different. The effective material contents are similar between wild and cultivated Polygalae Radix, but each chromatographic peak area of the root xylem is much smaller than that of Polygalae Radix. The chemical substance accumulation mainly depends on harvest month, but little growth time in Polygalae Radix.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of intravesical electric stimulation (IVES) on bladder sensation of neurogenic bladder.Methods28 patients with neurogenic bladder was evaluated, which all underwent intravesical bladder stimulation. Their bladder sensation were analyzed before and after the treatment.Results57.1% of the patients increased bladder sensation after treatment, 32.1% appeared the first sensation and urge sensation after treatment, 42.9% remained stable.ConclusionIntravesical bladder stimulation is effective to improve bladder sensation in a majority of the patients with neurogenic bladder.
