1.Analysis of the direction and degree of static cyclotorsion component and dynamic cyclotorsion component in corneal refractive surgery

AIM: To analyze the direction and degree of static cyclotorsion component (SCC) and dynamic cyclotorsion component (DCC) in corneal refractive surgery.
METHODS:Retrospective analysis. Totally 130 patients (260 eyes) with corneal refractive surgery in our hospital, according to the operation method were divided into femtosecond laser - assisted laser in situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) group and T-photorefractive keratectomy (T-PRK) group, the differences of the parameters of the two groups were compared; the differences of SCC success rate, SCC, DCC, and the eyeball rotation direction were compared between the two groups; correlation analysis on SCC, DCC and the parameters of postoperative patients were performed.
RESULTS: High order aberrations and spherical aberration in the T-PRK group after operation was higher than those of FS - LASIK group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05); in T-PRK group SCC in the operation was successful in 98 eyes, the success rate was 81. 7%; in FS-LASIK group SCC in the operation was successful in 82 eyes, the success rate is 58. 6%, the difference of SCC success rate between the two groups was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05 ); SCC in T - PRK group was 3. 52o ±2. 17o and FS-LASIK group was 3. 49o ±2. 26o, there was no significant difference (P>0. 05); DCC in T-PRK group (2. 86o±1. 14o) was higher than that of FS-LASIK group ( 2. 17o ± 1. 09o), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). There was no statistical difference in the direction of rotation of the eyeball in operation between the two groups (P>0. 05). The SCC of subjects in operation was positively correlated with UCVA, BCVA, spherical equivalent refraction and high order aberrations ( P < 0. 05 ); the DCC of subjects in operation was positively correlated with UCVA and high order aberrations (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The success rate of SCC in T - PRK surgery is higher than that in LASIK, DCC in T - PRK surgery is higher than that in LASIK, and accurate measurement of SCC and DCC can be effective to compensate for it.
3.Effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen on Cognition after Leukoaraiosis

Objective To study the effect of hyperbaric oxygen on cognitive dysfunction in patients with leukoaraiosis (LA). Methods 48 cases of moderate or severe LA with cognitive dysfunction were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group accepted hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) besides routine therapy, while the control group accepted routine therapy only. Both groups were assessed with Montreal cognition assessment (MoCA). Results The scores of MoCA in patients in the experimental group improved after treatment(P<0.05), and was more than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion HBO can improve the cognitive function in patients with LA.
4.Cognitive Function of the Patients with Leukoaraiosis at Different Extent

Objective To explore the characteristics of cognitive function in patients with leukoaraiosis(LA)at different extent.Methods The cognitive function of 66 patients with different extent of LA and 49 healthy controls were measured using the MoCA scale,and the relationship between the cognitive function and the extent of LA was evaluated.Results The LA was more severe,the cognitive function of patients was more poor.The cognitive function of patients with type Ⅳ LA significantly decreased than the patients with type Ⅰ LA and the controls,especially in the language,memory,visuoconstructional and executive functions(P<0.05).While the function of naming,attention,abstraction and orientation showed no significant difference between the patients with LA and the controls(P>0.05).Conclusion Moderate and severe LA may cause impairment of cognitive function.
5.Analysis of the function of vascular endothelial cells in coronary heart disease patients of blood-stasis syndrome.

OBJECTIVETo explore the function of vascular endothelial cell (VEC) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) of Xin-blood-stasis syndrome.
METHODSSome vasoactive substances produced by VEC were detected and analyzed in patients with CHD of or without Xin blood stasis syndrome in group A (n=112) and group B (n=108) respectively, also in patients with non-CHD but of Xin-blood-stasis syndrome in group C (n=110), and healthy persons in group D (n=100), including nitric oxide (NO), endothelin (ET), angiotensin H (Ag II), soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule -1 (sVCAM-1).
RESULTSThe abnormality degree of ET, Ag II , sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in various groups showed such a tendency as group A> group B> group D (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05), while no significant difference in these criteria between group A and group C was shown (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe vasoactive substances secreted by VEC are closely related to the formation and progression of CHD, and are likely to be important pathological markers of blood-stasis syndrome in CHD.

7.Study on Rehabilitating Effect of Acupuncture plus Kinetotherapy for Early Hemiplegia

To investigate the rehabilitating effect of acupuncture plus kinetotherapy for early hemiplegia due to cerebral apoplexy. Methods:Fifty cases of apoplectic hemiplegia were treated by acupuncture plus kinetotherapy and were compared with another fifty cases treated by single medications,in the therapeutic effect and for follow-up observation. Results:After the treatment for one month on average,the remarkable effective rate was 82% in the rehabilitation group and 54% in the control group,in a significant difference (P<0.05). After the treatment,the scores in the motor function of the limbs and daily life ability were obviously increased in the rehabilitation group,and there was a significant difference in comparison with the control group (P<0.05). Moreover,there was a good regulatory effect on blood rheology and blood lipid in the rehabilitation group. Conclusion:A combination of acupuncture and kinetotherapy has a better effect on apoplectic hemiplegia than single medications.

Background Stromal cell-derived factor-1_?(SDF-1_?)has been demonstrated to be essential for stern cell mobilization/homing.Recent evidence indicates that SDF-1_? has been expressed in injured carotid arter- ies.Besides,high SDF-1_? plasma levels are clinically associated with stable coronary artery disease.Objective To investigate whether SDF 1 involves in mobilization of endothelial progenitor cells(EPC)and reendothelialization after vascular injury.Methods SDF-1_? was detected by RT-PCR and Western blot in carotid arteries of mice at different time points after wire-induced injury.SDF-1_? determination in peripheral blood samples and BM was per- formed by SDF-1_? enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)kit.EPC in peripheral blood collected at different time points after vascular injury were quantified by flow cytornetry.In subgroup,blocking SDF-1 rnonoclonal anti- body was injected,peripheral blood EPC were quantified after vascular injury and reendothelialization of injured ar- teries was determined 14 days later.Results Expression of SDF-1_? was evident at day 1,and peaked at day 3 after arterial injury.A rise in plasmatic concentration of SDF-1_? and a significant reduction of SDF-1_? in bone marrow concentration was noticed at all time points following injury.The amount of circulating EPC was increased shortly after induction of vascular injury and persisted up to 7 days(P

Helicobacter pylori was separated from gastric mucosa of chronic gastritis patients for the first time in 1983, and it is the only species known to be able to survive in the human stomach. The Urase, Vacuolating cytotoxin, cytotoxin, adhesin, catalase, Outer Inflammatory Protein, duodenal ulcer promoter factor and lipopolysaccharide antigen of HP were reviewed in this paper, so that scholars can understand the recent research situation of HP antigen. The above study lays the foundation for future screening of high efficient antigen and increasing the expression of antigen, and exploring new methods of epitope binding in HP epitope vaccine.
10.Influence of triptolide on neuronal apoptosis in rat with cerebral injury after focal ischemia reperfusion.

OBJECTIVETo study effect of triptolide (TL) on neuronal apoptosis in cerebral tissue of rat after ischemia-reperfusion.
METHODTriptolide at dose 0.2 or 0.4 mg x kg(-1) was intraperitoneally injected once a day for 4 d. The focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model was established with thread embolism in middle artery before triptolide injection on the fourth day. Neurological deficit score of rats was evaluated; and immunohistochemical techniques were used to count positive cells of express of MPO and TUNEL in cerebraltissue.
RESULTCompared with the control group, the deficit of neural function was significantly improved, and the number of infiltrate of neutrophil and neuronal apoptosis in cerebral tissue was remarkably reduced in two TL-treated groups.
CONCLUSIONThe results suggested that TL can inhibit infiltration of neutrophil and decrease the degree of neuronal apoptosis in cerebral tissue.
