Objective:To determine taurocholic acid (TCA) and taurodeoxycholic acid (TDCA) in artificial snake gall. Methods: HPLC was used in the quantitative analysis with spherisorb C 18 column, methyl alcohol 0.02 mol/L phosphric buffer (60∶40) as a mobile phase and detection wavelength at 210nm. Results: The linear range of TCA was from 0.28672 mg/mL to 2.8672 mg/mL, and the linear range of TDCA was from 0.26842 mg/mL to 2.6842 mg/mL. The average recoveries were 97.65% for TCA and 95.81% for TDCA. RSD were 0.79% and 3.27%, respectively. Conclusion: This method is simple and accurate.

Objectives: To analyze the strategies of the diagnosis and treatment in patients with the pulmonary infection after renal transplantation. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on 28 cases of pulmonary infections among 285 patients undergoing renal transplantation. Results: The morbidity of pulmonary infection was 9.82%(28/285). The majority pathogens of pulmonary infection in this study were pseudomonas, staphylococcus epidermidis, canadida and cytomegalovirus. Chest X ray was important in the diagnosis, but there was no specificity to determine the pathogens. The mortality in 28 pulmonary infection patients was 32.1%(9/28). Most of the patients suffered from pulmonary infection within 4 months after the operation, and the postoperative period from 2 months to 4 months was a high risk time window for death caused by pulmonary infections. Conclusions: The morbidity and mortality of pulmonary infections, especially severe pneumonia, in patients with renal transplantation, are higher than healthy people. Treatment following clinical epidemiology and strategy of microbiology play a very important role to reduce the mortality in those patients.

Objective To investigate the relapse risk assessment for patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)through testing PML-RAR? fusion gene by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RQ-PCR).Methods Relative copies of PML-RAR? fusion gene were measured in 25 patients with APL in phases of first diagnosis,complete remission(CR)and relapse.The minimal residual disease(MRD)situations were also monitored in 6 of the 25 patients.Results Different PML-RAR? fusion gene expression levels were observed in patient groups of different phases of the disease.(P

OBJECTIVETo investigate the immunological activity of Streptomyces polysaccharide (SMP) on normal and immunosuppressed mice.

METHODSThe effect of SMP on the proliferating activity of normal mouse splenocytes was tested in the mixed lymphocyte culture, and the changes of peripheral blood T lymphocytes were evaluated with acid a-naphthyl acetate esterase (ANAE) method. The ratio of Lyt2+ and L3T4+ T cell subsets was measured by flow cytometry.

RESULTSSMP stimulated obvious proliferation of mixed lymphocytes, showed protective effects on T lymphocyte and increased the ratio of Lyt2+ and L3T4+ cell subsets to nearly normal level in immunosuppressed mice.

CONCLUSIONSSMP can regulate the immune function in mice.

Pericellular matrix (PCM) is a narrow tissue region surrounding chondrocytes, which "chondron" with its enclosed cells. A number of studies suggested that PCM is rich in proteoglycans, collagen and fibronectin, and plays an important role in regulating microenvironment of chondrocytes. Direct measures of PCM properties through micropipette aspiration technique showed that PCM was different from mechanical property of chondrocytes and nature extracellular matrix. However, the function of PCM is not clear, and need further study.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the placement of a long tube into the small intestine under fluoroscopic guidance and to evaluate its decompression effect on early postoperative small bowel obstruction (EPSBO).

METHODSFifty-four patients with EPSBO requiring decompression between April 2010 and July 2014 were enrolled in the study. Insertion of a long tube was guided by fluoroscopy. We first used the guide wire to pass the pylorus and then used the 10 Fr feeding tube as an exchangeable tube to put the superstiff wire into the duodenum. Finally the long tube could be passed over the guide wire through the pylorus into the intestine. The total procedure time, the radiation exposure time, and the incidence of complications were evaluated.

RESULTSThe long tubes passed into the jejunum on initial insertion for all patients, so the success rate of this technique was 100%. The long tube was inserted into ileum in 18 patients. The mean total procedure time was 34.4 ± 8.6 minutes, and the mean radiation exposure time 18.9 ± 6.8 minutes. A total of 47 patients (87%) experienced full recovery following long-tube decompression and without the need for surgical intervention.

CONCLUSIONSUsing the wire-exchange technique, it is easy to place a long tube into the small bowel under fluoroscopic guidance. This decompression method is safe and effective for management of EPSBO.

One patient confirmed as pituitary carcinoma by histopathology was retrospectively analyzed according to the great changes of tumor invasive growth in imaging examine and clinical characters. Clinically,pituitary carcinoma quickly grows,and the growth character of tumor is helpful in the diagnosis. Moreover,the treatment for pituitary carcinoma is different from pituitary adenoma.The rapid progress of pituitary adenoma indicates the possibility of primary carcinoma.More experience should be accumulated for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Objective To study the role of hematopoietic growth factor(HGF)of placenta chorionic villus in fetal hematopoiesis during embryo ontogeny by observation of the appearance time and the content changes with the fetal growth, which was compared with HGF in cord blood. Methods Thirty embryo villus (2 g each) and 30 cord blood (2 mL each) were collected separately from early pregnant stage(6- 8 weeks), middle pregnant stage(16-22 weeks)and late pregnant stage (37-42 weeks). The levels of HGF were detected by enzyme - linked immunosorbent assay. Objective To introduce the therapeutic measure of preventing the first web contracture after hand crush injury in early stage. Methods Three types were divided according to the traumatic condition in 57 cases: closed injury, open injury and with blood vessel of thumb or fingers injury, and used different method such as closing injury postpone, opening the first web by kischner wire or mini-external fixation splint and covered by local or island flap to cure each type in primary and early stage, after 6 months, measured the width and angle of the first web. Results Forty-one cases were followed-up after 3 months - 2 years,abduction and opposition of the thumbs were fine, the average of width and angle of the first web were (5.89 ± 0.58)cm and (87.85 ± 6.03)°. Conclusion The key points of preventing the first web contracture after crush injury are opening the first web that being covered by local flap and to use splint in primary stage.
