1.Physical assessment skills of clinical nurses: application status and analysis
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(10):4-7
Objective To understand the application status of physical assessment in clinical nurses. Methods Using self-designed physical assessment skills questionnaire to investigate nurses in six provinces of China, 1115 questionnaires were valid. Results There were 171 items in this questionnaire,4.0% of them were used regularly, 19.3% used frequently, 76.7% used occasionally. The result of Spearman correlation showed that there was positive correlation between the frequency of physical assessment skills and the subjective needs of nurses, regional, educational background, hospital level. There was also negative correlation with title, age and seniority. Conclusions The main factors lead to imbalance development of physical assessment skills are regional, hospital-level and education background; the assessment skills of specialist hospitals and wards need to be standardized immediately.
2.Hypoxia increases IRAK-4 expression in cultured murine N9 microglia cells
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2002;0(12):-
Objective To explore the mechanism of the microglia inflammatory response through observing the changes of interleukin-1 receptor associated kinase-4(IRAK-4) expression in murine N9 microglia cells under hypoxia. Methods N9 cells were exposed to 3%O2,5%CO2,92%N2 for 1,3,6,12 and 24 h respectively. The IRAK-4 protein level was detected by Western blotting and the celluar change was observed by laser scanning confocal microscope(LSCM).The TNF-? level was measured by ELISA.Results After hypoxia, the expression of IRAK-4 protein was increased in a time-dependent manner. The elevation began at 1 h after hypoxia, increased significantly at 3 h(P0.05).The fluorescence intensity of IRAK-4 also increased with the extension of anoxic time. The TNF-? level change were similar. There were significant positive correlations between the expression of IRAK-4 and TNF-?(P
3.Challenges of non-communicable-diseases and control policies in China
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;29(7):534-537
Non-communicable-diseases(NCDs)have become leading death causes and major health challenges for the Chinese people, incurring direct and indirect economic burden of diseases on families and the society, and even posing a serious threat to social-economic development sustainability of the country.Given their complex causes,NCDs mostly result from unhealthy lifestyle of the individuals, along with complex multiple social determinants.Evidences from home and abroad prove NCDs as preventable and controllable, which call for powerful government policy commitments and leadership. The government should make health policies part of social policies, build such intervention platform as Healthy City, rebuild the health service system, promote universal coverage of cost-effective interventions, and involve the entire society, reinforce general measures such as planning and performance monitoring. All of which can achieve desired outcomes for NCD control in the end.
4.Subjective perception and analysis of physical assessment technique in clinical nurses
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(16):3-5
Objective To understand the subjective perception and influential factors of physical assessment technique in clinical nurses. Methods Using self-designed physical assessment skills questionnaire to investigate nurses in the six provinces of China, 1115 questionnaires were valid. Results There were 11 items in this questionnaire. The first four were: physical assessment is an essential skill of nurses (88.1%),the importance of continuous learning (84.8%), lack of maturity assessment tools (79.8%), heavy workload, lack of time (60.8%). The result of multiple regression analysis (stepwise) showed that hospital-level and regional were the main factors affecting the subjective perception. Conclusions The development of physical assessment reies mainly on rational allocation of human resources structure, establishing the physical assessment framework, and make sure different departments have their own characteristics and the importance of continuing education.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
Objective:To determine taurocholic acid (TCA) and taurodeoxycholic acid (TDCA) in artificial snake gall. Methods: HPLC was used in the quantitative analysis with spherisorb C 18 column, methyl alcohol 0.02 mol/L phosphric buffer (60∶40) as a mobile phase and detection wavelength at 210nm. Results: The linear range of TCA was from 0.28672 mg/mL to 2.8672 mg/mL, and the linear range of TDCA was from 0.26842 mg/mL to 2.6842 mg/mL. The average recoveries were 97.65% for TCA and 95.81% for TDCA. RSD were 0.79% and 3.27%, respectively. Conclusion: This method is simple and accurate.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2013;22(1):38-41
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematological malignancy caused by the clonal expansion ofbone marrow plasmacytes. It accounts for 10 % of all hematological malignancies. The proteasome,an intracellular enzyme complex that degrades ubiquitin-tagged proteins to regulate protein levels within the cell, plays an important role in maintaining cellular homeostasis.Proteasome inhibitors proved to be significantly effective in the clinical treatment of MM.In recent years, the application of the proteasome inhibitor has led to increased survival rates in MM patients.Bortezomib is the first proteasome inhibitor that has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration due to its ability to reversibly inhibit the 26 s proteasome functions.Despite the fact that Bortezomib improves medical treatment, many patients experience difficulty responding to this drug and some patients who do respond eventually relapse. These results have led researchers to investigate new proteasome inhibitors with mechanisms different from those of Bortezomib. Some drugs that bind to the active site of the proteasome and irreversibly inhibit the complex have recently been developed and are currently being tested in advanced clinical trials. Here,we will elaborate on the proteasome inhibitors targeting MM and focus on newly discovered inhibitors that may overcome the resistance to Bortezomib.

Objective To measure baseline and influencing factors of core competency of mobile nurses when they join the team and lateral comparison with the domestic nurses, and provide the scientific basis to develop targeted training programs. Methods Using Competency Inventory for Registered Nurse (CIRN) to conducted a questionnaire survey on 56 mobile nurses. Results The core competencies of mobile nurses in our hospital scored (162.82±25.47) points,at a medium level throughout the country. The dimensions of legal and ethical practice were with the highest mean scores, and dimensions of critical thinking and scientific research ability were with the lowest mean scores, professional interests, career development prospects, degree of clinical ability had positive correlation with core competence scores of mobile nurses. Conclusions Core competencies of mobile nurses were at the middle to upper level compared with domestic nurses of the same seniority, but the cultivation for clinical thinking and research ability should be strengthened, and positive encouragement and opportunities for career development of mobile nurses would be necessary.
