Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(08):-
Objective To observe the curative effect of intervention treatment on 63 patients with constipa- tion induced by pain relief and prevention of vomit. Methods 39 cases in treatment group were given general in- struction and took orally a kind of bowel laxative with smooth Chinese herbal medicine in advance.A stimulating cathartic was used to those who appeared constipation and they were swept to infuse bowel.24 eases in control group were without general instruction and usage of medicine in advance. They were treated after constipation appeared. Results The effective rate of treatment group and control group was 85 % and 8 % respectively. Conclusion Gen- eral instruction and oral take of bowel laxative with Chinese herbal medicine in advance are easy and effective ways to a void the usage of cathartic and its side effects. So they can be clinically applied and especially used in grass-roots hospitals as a good method to treat constipation caused by pain relief and prevention of vomit in chemotherapy.
2. Recent progress in radiological study of cranial nerve injury
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(4):429-432
The vast majority of traumatic cranial nerve injuries are associated with compression of fragment fracture, and microsurgery outside the epidural can be used for most of the cases. Therefore, early and accurate diagnosis of cranial nerve injury is especially important. As the cranial nerves go out of the cranial cavity through the holes and cracks of the skull base, and there are a number of special structures through which cranial nerve goes into the human skull, and they include the optic canal, superior orbital fissure, facial nerve canal, jugular foramen and so on. Most traumatic cranial nerve injuries are associated with these structures; however, the common imaging examination is very difficult for these structures due to their deep location. To further study the imaging diagnosis of cranial nerve injury associated with traumatic brain injury, this paper reviews the radiological technology for examination of the special positions in the skull.

China Oncology 2001;0(03):-
Purpose:To evaluate the clinical effect of late-course hyperfractionated (LCH) radiotherapy and conventionally fractionated (CF) radiotherapy for local advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods:From August 1995 to April 1998, 74 patients with inoperable stage Ⅲ NSCLC were randomized into two groups: CF and LCH. 37 patients in CF group received a fraction of 2 Gy daily, 5 days per week, to the total dose of 65~70 Gy /6.5~7 weeks. 37 patients in LCH group were treated with the same fractionation as CF group to the dose of 40 Gy, and then followed by LCH radiotherapy: 1.2Gy, twice daily, with the interval of 6 hours between fractions, to the total dose of 64 Gy/6 weeks. Results:The overall response rate in LCH group and CF group were 78.4%(29/37) and 62.2%(23/37) respectively, the difference was significant (P

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
16S rDNA sequences of 30 Bacillus strains originally identified as Bacillus licheniformis from China Center of Industrial Culture Collection (CICC) were determined and analyzed. The results indicated that 24 strains are affiliated to Bacillus licheniformis;3 strains are affiliated to Bacillus cereus and 1 strain is affiliated to Bacillus subitilis;the similarity levels of 16S rDNA among the rest of 2 strains and other strains of Bacillus licheniformis, range from 96.4% to 97.4%,further tests are needed to clarify their position. Also we testified that 5' terminal 500bp of 16S rDNA is available to differentiate the strains of Bacillus licheniformis、Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus cereus.

Cancer Research and Clinic 1999;0(05):-
Tumor metastasis is a primary cause of leading to death of tumor patients, and difficult to control. The relationship between primary tumor(PT)and metastasis tumor(MT)is extremely complicated. Considerable animal experiments and clinical data confirm that treatment of PT encourages the growth of MT, but the mechanism is not still fully clear. Some studies show that the density depression of antiangiogenesis factor and immune escape of tumor cell are main reasons for MT accelerated growth. This article reviews the animal experiment, clinical observation and occurrence mechanism of primary tumor treatment promoting tu- mor metastasis.
9. Change of p53 protein in adaptable reaction of EL-4 cells induced by low dose ionizing radiation
Tumor 2007;27(4):269-271
Objective: To investigate the expression of p53 protein in the adaptable reaction of EL-4 cells induced by low dose ionizing radiation (LDR), which may provide the experimental clues for studying the repair mechanism of DNA damage in the adaptable reaction of ELA cells induced by LDR. Methods: EL-4 cells were divided into control group, radiation groups (the radiation dosage was 1, 2, and 3 Gy), and adaptable radiation groups (75 mGy + 1 Gy, 75 mGy + 2 Gy, and 75 mGy + 3 Gy). The p53 mRNA and protein expression in EL-4 cells was measured by flow cytometry and RT-PCR methods, respectively. Results: The expression levels of p53 protein in the three adaptive radiation groups were significantly higher than the normal control group (P<0.01). Adaptive radiation at 75 mGy induced adaptable reaction of EL-4 cells and decreased the expression level of p53 protein compared with control group (P<0.01). The expression level of p53 mRNA showed the same change as its protein level in EL-4 cells. Conclusion: The expression level of p53 protein is decreased in the adaptive radiation group, which suggests that p53 might play important roles in the adaptable reaction of EL-4 cells induced by LDR.
