Objective To explore the change of opioid peptide content such as ?-endorphin(?-EP), dynorphinA_ 1-13(DynA_ 1-13) in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) of patients with cerebral hemorrhage, and the interference effect of Naloxone on them.Methods 60 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into Naloxone-treated group and control group. Conventional treatment was used in both groups, then Naloxone-treated group intravenous drip of Naloxone, each 3.0 mg, once a day, for 14 d. The concentrations of ?-EP, DynA_ 1-13 of the patients were measured with radioimmunoassay (RIA) during the acute stage before treatment and at 7th, 14th day after treatment compared with those of normal group (the normal people and the patients were treated by operations). Changes of ?-EP and DynA_ 1-13 in bleeding part and amount of bleeding were analyzed. Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the written project approval Indexes System of Capital Medical Ddevelopment Research Foundation.We analyzed the approval results of application projects and proposed measures to improve the index system.Methods We evaluated its reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient,split-half reliability; validity was evaluated with contract validity and content validity,discrimination was studies according to discretion grouping law,and feasibility was studied with the percentage-of-completion method.Results ① Reliability:Cronbach's alpha coefficient of factor and total scores'and split-half reliability were all over 0.80.②Contract validity:the standard factor loading coefficients of the index system were over 0.70 (range:0.57～0.86),indicating path performed well.All factor loading coefficients were statistical significant (T-values were 30.49～54.25,all were over 1.96).Fit Indexes (RMSEA =0.065、NNFI =0.99、IFI =0.99、CFI =0.99、GFI =0.95、AGFI =0.93、X2 =1028.21、X2/DF =11.82) indicated the system's goodness of fit was good.③ Content validity:Scale-level CVI,S-CVI was 0.97 and Interrater agreement was 0.93,over 0.90,which indicated that indexes system's whole Content validity performed well.Except for the item Academic thought item-level CVI being 0.57 all items' item-level CVI were 1.00.④Discrimination:Discrimination index of every primary index,secondary index and total score ranged from 0.51 to 0.76 (all were over 0.40),meaning that discrimination performed extremely well.Conclusion The indexes system's reliability,contract validity,content validity and discrimination conformed to the actual application projects appraisal results.

OBJECTIVE:To study the adverse drug reactions(ADRs)induced by weight-reducing drugs and to provide references for rational administration in clinics.METHODS:Classification statistic and analysis were conducted on462cases with weight-reducing drug-induced ADRs reported in62kinds of domestic and overseas medicinal periodicals published during the period of1980～2004.RESULTS:With pseudo-5-HTA appetite-suppressing drugs showing the high incidence of ADRs,which stood at36.36%of the total.Multi-systems were involved in ADRs,with the cardiovascular system showing the highest proportion(53.68%).The prognostic mortality accounted for18.61%of the total.CONCLUSION:ADRs induced by weight-reducing drugs were associated with many factors,to avoid the occurrences of which,medical workers should give more directions and monitoring on administration of drugs.

The status of marine bioresources and the marine eco-environment issues were summarized and discussed, and the strategies for the development of Chinese marine bioresources in the future were proposed. The degradation of marine eco-environment and unreasonable exploitation of the resources resulted in acute decline of Chinese marine bioresources. The feasible stratagies for the sustainable use of marine bioresources should be to intensify the basic research on marine bioresources science, to strengthen the protection of the marine environment and conservation of marine living resources, and to exploit and utilize marine bioresources scientifically and reasonably by using high-technology including marine biotechnology.

Objective To explore the feasibility of excluding oral 75 g glucose tolerance test (OGTT)in pregnant women with fasting plasma glucose (FPG) ＜4.4 mmol/L in middle and late trimester.Methods From February 1,2012 to August 31,2013,18 851 pregnant women without pre-gestational diabetes mellitus who received 75 g OGTT in Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Hubei Province,China,at 24-28 weeks of gestation were enrolled.The criteria for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) were FPG ＞5.1 mmol/L and/or 1 h plasma glucose ＞10.0 mmol/L and/or 2 h plasma glucose ＞8.5 mmol/L in OGTT.The values of FPG in predicting GDM were analyzed with receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.The differences of detection rates for GDM among women of different ages,women with different FPG levels,and those with or without risk factors of GDM were compared by x2 test and Fisher's exact test.Results The overall detection rate of GDM was 9.11％(1 718/18 851).The detection rate of GDM was lower in women aged ＜ 25 years than women aged 25-,30-and ≥ 35 years [4.77％ (137/2 875) vs 7.76％ (803/10 350),12.43％ (552/4 440)and 19.06％ (226/1 186),respectively,x2=30.53,120.24 and 210.66,all P＜0.01].The sensitivity and specificity were 55％ and 68％,respectively,when the cutoff value of FPG was 4.4 mmol/L,and the Youden index was 0.23 and the area under the ROC curve was 0.61 (95％CI:0.59-0.63,P＜0.01).The sensitivity and specificity were 40％ and 80％,respectively,when the cutoff value was 4.5 mmol/L,and the Youden index was 0.20 and the area under the ROC curve was 0.61 (95％CI:0.59-0.63,P＜0.01).The missed diagnosis rate was lower when the cutoff point of FPG was defined as 4.4 mmol/L.The detection rate for GDM was 3.45％ (384/11 121) in women with FPG ＜4.4 mmol/L,significantly lower than in those with FPG ≥ 4.4 but ＜5.1 mmol/L and ≥ 5.1 mmol/L [8.06％ (561/6 957) and 100.00％ (773/773),x2=183.66 and 7 672.08,all P＜0.01].When FPG was ＜4.4 mmol/L or ≥ 4.4 but ＜5.1 mmol/L,the detection rate for GDM was significantly higher in women with GDM risk factors than in those without [5.09％ (118/2 318) and 10.75％ (184/1 712) vs 3.02％ (266/8 803) and 7.19％ (377/5 245),x2=23.56 and 22.06,P＜0.01].Conclusion OGTT may not be included in GDM screening in the pregnant women with FPG＜4.4 mmol/L and without GDM risk factors in the areas lack of medical resources.

This study is to investigate the protection effect of schisandrin B (Sch B) against oxidation stress of HK-2 cells induced by cisplatin and the mechanisms involved. HK-2 cells were cultured and divided into different groups: solvent control group, cisplatin exposure group, positive group, Sch B treatment group. Cell viability and toxicity were evaluated by MTT and LDH assay. GSH level and SOD enzymes activities were also measured. DCFH-DA as fluorescence probe was used to detect ROS level by fluorescence microplate reader. Nrf2 translocation was detected by Western blotting. Real time Q-PCR was used to detect expressions of NQO1, HO-1 and GCLC mRNA level. The results showed that Sch B could significantly inhibit the decline of cell viability induced by cisplatin treatment (P < 0.05) and the protective effect was in a dose dependent manner. Furthermore, Sch B treatment significantly inhibited the increase of ROS level induced by cisplatin and reversed the decrease of GSH level (P < 0.05). When Sch B concentration was up to 5 micromol x L(-1), SOD enzyme activities were also enhanced significantly compared with that of the cisplatin group (P < 0.05). It was shown that Sch B could cause nuclear accumulation of Nrf2 in association with downstream activation of Nrf2 mediated oxidative response genes such as GCLC, NQO1 and HO-1. These results suggested Sch B could protect against the oxidative damage of HK-2 cells induced by cisplatin via the activation of Nrf2/ARE signal pathway.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the anti- tremor effect and mechanism of baicalein on oxotremorine- induced muscle tremor in mice. METHODS The acute model of muscular tremor was induced by intraperitoneal injection of oxotremorine, and the latency, duration and frequency of muscle tremor in mice were measured immediately; the saliva of mice was measured to reflect the correlation between tremor and peripheral nerve function; the aim of this study was to determine the content of MDA and the activity of GSH-PX, and to investigate the anti-oxidation of mice with tremor model. The activity of acetylcholinesterase (AchE) and acetylcholine transferase (ChAT) can indirectly reflect the level of acetylcholine in the brain. The level of monoamine neurotransmitters in brain tissue was determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-ECD). RESULTS The animals in the model group appeared obvious tremoring, salivating and erecting and other symptoms. Compared to the model group, there was no obvious inhibitory effect on the administration of each dose. After 7, 14, 21 and 28 d of continuous administration, the latency, duration and tremor frequency of tremor mice were significantly shortened, the levels of acetylcholine were significantly decreased, the changes of DOPAC and DA neurotransmitters in the brain of model group were recovered, regulate the dynamic balance of acetylcholine and dopamine in the brain. CONCLUSION Long- term administration can improve the tremor behavior of mice, the mechanismmay be related to the regulation of neurotransmittersin brain.

Background Trachoma is a common disease in ophthalmology,but few reports about the pathogenetic genotype are reported.Objective This study was to investigate the genotypes of Chlamydia trachomatis.Methods Conjunctival specimens were collected in 16 patients with trachoma in Beijing Tongren Eye Center from January,2003 and August,2006.Variable sequence 4 (VS4) of ompl fragment was amplified by nested PCR(n-PCR) using specific primer of Chlamydia trachomatis,and then the PCR products were sequenced.The DNA sequences were analyzed by software Clustal X and MEGA2,and the genetic characteristics were compared with the known sequences of GenBank.Results The PCR product fragment of MOMP gene of trachoma was 277 bp.Three types of Chlamydia trachomatis strains were idcntified in the 16 specimens,including B-genotype in 9 strains (56.3％),C-genotype in 4 strains(25.0％) and D-genotype in 3 strains(18.7％).High homology was seen in the gene sequences of Chlamydia trachomatis strains between the B-genotype or C-genotype strains and the same genotypes of GenBank or those from some districts of China.However,some differences were exhibited among the Dgenotype strains.Conclusions Identification of genotype of Chlamydia trachomatis has differential effect on trachoma and inclusion conjunctivitis.

Objective To investigate the correlation between fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) gene polymorphism and endemic fluorosis.Methods In Bijie City,Guizhou Province coal-burning-borne high fluoride areas,148 patients with fluorosis were selected as endemic fluorosis group;in non high fluoride areas of Changshun County of Guizhou Province,134 healthy people were selected as control group.Short tandem repeats (STRs)-PCR was utilized to detected the FGFR2 rs35668561 and D10S14839 microsatellite polymorphisms in endemic fluorosis cases and controls.Results FGFR2 rs35668561 461 bp (22AG)allele frequency of endemic fluorosis group (1.01％) was significantly lower than that of the control group (3.36％,x2 =5.29,P ＜ 0.05).FGFR2 D10S14839 286 bp (9GT),300 bp (16GT),310 bp (21GT) and 314 bp (23GT) allele frequency in the endemic fluorosis group were 14.53％,11.82％,16.89％ and 8.11％,in the control group were 22.01％,6.34％,8.96％ and 16.42％,the difference was statistically significant.Then 300 bp (16GT)and 310 bp (21GT)allele frequency of endemic fluorosis group was significantly higher than that of the control group (x2 =6.82,7.77,all P ＜ 0.05),and 286 bp (9GT),314 bp (23GT) allele frequency of endemic fluorosis group was significantly lower than that of the control group (x2 =5.32,9.16,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions FGFR2 rs35668561 and D10S14839 polymorphism are associated with endemic fluorosis.FGFR2 rs35668561 461 bp (22AG) allele may be a protective factor of endemic fluorosis.D10S14839 300 bp (16GT) and 310 bp (21GT) allele may be risk factors of endemic fluorosis,286 bp (9GT) and 314 bp (23GT) allele may be protective factors of endemic fluorosis.
