4.Clinical Study of Mind- and Qi-regulating Acupuncture for the Treatment of Postoperative Gastroplegia
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;(1):34-35
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of mind- and qi-regulating acupuncture in treating postoperative gastroplegia. Methods Thirty-six patients with postoperative gastroplegia were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 18 cases each. The control group received conventional acupuncture and the treatment group, acupuncture at points for regulating mind and qi (Baihui, Sishencong and Yindang) in addition. Pre- and post-treatment Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) scores and gastric drainage volumes, and the number of treatments and the recovery rate were recorded in the patients. Comparisons of them were made between the two groups. Results There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in the HAMD score in the two groups (P<0.01). There was a statistically significant post-treatment difference in the HAMD score between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in gastric drainage volume in the two groups (P<0.01). There were statistically significant differences in the number of treatments and the recovery and marked efficacy rate between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05).Conclusions Mind- and qi-regulating acupuncture helps recovery and can also reduce the number of treatments in gastroplegia patients.
5.High-intensity Interval Training for Aerobic Capacity and Physical Health (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(1):13-18
The high-intensity interval training often consisted of groups of interval high-intensity exercise of exhaustion or above 90%maximal oxygen consumption, which can be applied to improve aerobic capacity. Adaption of skeletal muscles might be resulted from high-intensity interval training, including recruitment, glucose metabolism and activity of mitochondrial oxidase, etc., and improve maxi-mum oxygen uptake. It has been used for physical fitness, such as weight reduction, rehabilitation of heart diseases and diabetes mellitus, etc.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To approach the feasibility of identifying the specific biomarker of ovarian cancer by SELDI TOF mass spectrometry. Methods The relative contents of serum protein of both 24 the patients with ovarian cancer and 56 cases of healthy people were tested by IMAC3 chip and proteinchip reader (CipherGen Inc., VS). Results On the M/Z values ranged from 4000Da to 10000Da, there were six kinds of protein contents in the serum of the were obviously different between the two groups. Among them the serum protein of M/Z value 4472Da may be regarded as a specific biomarker of ovarian cancer. In the learning mode, all the 24 patients and 56 control people were diagnosed and distinguished out correctly, while in the test mode, 23 patients were correctly diagnosed and 56 control people were distinguished out, the total accuracy was 98 75%(79/80), and the sensitivity and specificity were 95 8%(23/24) and 100%(56/56), respectively. Conclusion Ovarian cancer can be quickly and correctly diagnosed by this method with high sensitivity and specificity. That will be widely used in clinical application

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
Objective To observe the effect of diet control combined with exercise on hyperlipi-demia,hyperglycemia and high blood pressure in overweight subjects. Method One hundred and four subjects (75 men and 29 women )were chosen from 6789 persons for medical examinations at health administration centre of our hospital from August to December in 2005. All of them met the following requirements: age 35-60,BMI value 24—28,high blood lipids ,high blood glucose or high blood pressure ,never using any drugs and excluding diseases with defects of heart ,liver or renal function and osteoarthritis diseases affecting physical activities. They were required to follow the plan of diet control and exercise for 24 w. The changes of their body weights (BW) ,body mass index (BMI),waist-hip ratio (WHR),total cholesterol (TC),total triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 hours plasma glucose (2 hPG),glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c),systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were observed . Results After 24 w intervention by diet control and exercise ,the BW ,BMI,FPG,2hPG ,HbAlc ,TC ,TG,LDL-C and SBP of the subjects studied were decreased drastically. HDL-C and DBP were not changed. Conclusion Scientific and reasonable diet pattern and rational exercise can lower the hyperlipidemia ,hyperglycemia and hypertension in overweight subjects.
