Conformal radiotherapy is an important therapeutic strategy for primary hepatic carcinoma,which has high local control rate.However,the frequency of intra- and extra-hepatic recurrences is very high.Sorafenib is the only drug that has been demonstrated effectiveness to increase overall survival in advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma.The combination about radiotherapy and sorafenib can increase the radiosensitiveness,and inhibit the angiogenesis,and relieve the hypoxia,as well as synchronize the cell cycle.A lot of biological studies of sorafenib combined with radiotherapy have been camied out,and the phase Ⅰ -Ⅱ clinical trials are is in progress.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of ozonated water injection for inflammatory pain of ankylosing spondylitis.Methods Forty patients suffered from inflammatory pain of ankylosing spondylit were admitted at the Xishan Coal Electricity Group Co.,Ltd Workers' General hospital from October 2013 to October 2016,and were randomly divided into Group A and Group B,20 cases in each group.Patients in Group A were treated with ozonated water injection into facet joint and sacroiliac joint,while patients in Group B were treated with diclofenac sodium controlled release table as control.Immunosuppressant was taken by all patients in both groups as the basic therapy.The VAS,ratio of VAS less than 3,Schober,Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index(BASDAI),CRP,ESR and side effects were evaluated before treatment and 1 week,1 and 2 months after treatment.Results Before treatment,1st week,1st and 2nd month after treatment,the VAS in group A were (8.20 ± 0.92) points,(2.60 ± 0.79) points,(2.30 ± 0.67) points,(1.50 ± 0.53) points respectively,the Schober were (2.55± 1.62) cm,(3.10± 1.59) cm,(3.35±1.99) cm,(4.10t 1.37) cm,and the BASDAI were (6.30±0.64),(2.68±0.46),(2.08±0.40),(1.56±0.48).Before treatment,1st week,1st and 2nd month after treatment,the VAS in group B were (8.30± 1.06) points,(4.00± 1.05) points,(2.50± 1.18) points,(1.80± 1.03) points,the Schober were (2.50 ± 1.80) cm,(2.85± 1.49) cm,(3.95 ± 1.19)cm,(4.05±0.89) cm,and the BASDAI were (5.64±0.47),(2.98±0.29),(2.20±0.37),(1.70±0.45).The repeated measured repeated measures analysis of variance showed that among three indexes of VAS,Schober and BASDAI,the difference within group was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05),but there were no significant difference between groups and interaction (P ＞ 0.05).The VAS and BASDAI of patients in both groups were significantly lower at 1st week,1st and 2nd month after treatment as compared to those before treatment,and the Schober of patients in group A at 1st week,1st month,2nd month and that of patients in group B at 1st month,2nd month significantly higher as compared with that before treatment(P＜0.05).The ratio of VAS less than 3 of patients in group A were 80％,100％ and 100％ at 1st week,1st and 2nd month after treatment,that in group B were 40％,80％ and 90％.The ratio of VAS less than 3 of patients in group A were significant higher than that of patients in group B at 1st week,1st month after treatment(P＜0.05).The CRP in group A were (43.3±12.6)mg/L,(8.46±6.92) mg/L before treatment,1st week after treatment,and that in group B were (43.1 ± 16.9)mg/L,(9.92±6.98) mg/L.The ESR in group A were (38.3±9.4) mm/h,(14.2±5.5) mm/h before treatment,1st week after treatment,and that in group B were (32.0± 10.1) mm/h,(12.8±6.5) mm/h.The CRP and ESR after treatment in two groups significantly lower as compared with those before treatment (P＜0.01),but there was no significant difference between group(P＞0.05).Four patients (20％) in group A and 11 patients(55％) in group B were suffered from gastrointestinal side effects after treatment,the ratio of group A was significant lower than that of group B (X2 =5.23,P＜ 0.05).Conclusion Ozonated water injection into facet joint and sacroiliac joint compound immunosuppressant improved pain and joint function,and exhibited a low gastrointestinal side effects.

Objective:To investigate the localization and identification value of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves of SNT, and to improve the accuracy of ultrasound diagnosis.Methods: Retrospective analysis the results of high frequency ultrasound to 49 cases proved by pathology annually patients (54 tumors, 54 connection nerves), and compared with the results of pathological diagnosis, evaluating the accuracy of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves. Results: The longitudinal section appearance of tumor connection nerve showed hypoechoic band and parallel fine belt-like structure surrounded by hyperechoic lines, it was enlarged gradually and became triangular close to the tumor. To the distribution of sex, age and course of the disease, the rates of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves were no significant difference (x2=0.083,x2=0.454,x2=1.277;P>0.05). The rate of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves of SNT was 94.4%, compared with the results of pathological diagnosis, the distribution ratio and the rate of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves showed no significant difference(x2=0.015,P>0.05).Conclusion: When using high frequency ultrasound observed connection nerves of SNT, there were obvious image characteristics, and the rate of high frequency ultrasound in displaying connection nerves of SNT was high, it would be a better value to diagnostic SNT.

Objective To evaluate the effect of sevoflurane on the expression of calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) in the myocardium of rats with high-level spinal cord injury (SCI).Methods Thirty healthy male Wistar rats, weighing 250-300 g, were randomly divided into 3 groups using a random number table: sham operation group (group S, n = 6) , SCI group (n =12) and sevoflurane group (group Sev).SCI was induced in anesthetized rats by dropping a l0-g weight onto C7 spinal cord from 5.0 cm height falling freely inside a vertical hollow glass tube.Group SCI inhaled 2 L/min pure oxygen for 30 min, and group Sev inhaled 2％ sevoflurane for 30 min starting from 30 min after SCI.At 12 and 24 h after SCI (T1,2) , 6 rats were selected randomly, and blood samples from the abdominal aorta were drawn for determination of serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) concentrations.The rats were then sacrificed, and myocardial specimens were obtained for determination of CaSR protein and mRNA expression (using fluorescent quantitative real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction or Western blot) and for examination of myocardial ultrastructure (with transmission electron microscope).Results Compared with group S, the serum cTnI concentrations and CaSR protein and mRNA expression were significantly increased at T1,2 in SCI and Sev groups.Compared with group SCI, the serum cTnI concentrations and CaSR protein and mRNA expression were significantly decreased at T1,2 in Sev group.The damage to myocardial cells was significantly reduced in group SCI compared with group Sev.Conclusion Sevoflurane reduces myocardial damage through inhibiting CaSR expression in the myocardium of rats with high-level SCI.

The protein of BRCC36 is a kind of enzyme specifically hydrolyzing K 63-linked poly-ubiquitin chain and widely found in a variety of eukaryotic cells .BRCC36 recognizes diverse substrate proteins , and participates in various kinds of pathophysiological responses such as DNA damage repair , cell signal transduction and cell cycle control .It plays an important role in the process of cancer , angiogenesis and cardiac injury .This review discusses the progress in the inves-tigation on BRCC36 protein to provide the necessary information for searching new therapeutic targets of many diseases .

Objective To select the optimum conditions of Echinococcosis ELISA kit and kit preparation by using orthogonal experiments,then to test their detection performance.Methods Taking the absorbance of the samples as the indicator,orthogonal experiments of three factors four levels were taken to optimize the conditions of hydatid disease detection ELISA kit.Through L16 (43)orthogonal experiments,the concentration of the antigen(A),the dilution multiple of the sample (B) and the dilution multiple of the enzyme labeled antigen (C) were studied.The specimen were provided by The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University specimen library collected between March 2011 and June 2013,including 36 sera confirmed alveolar Echinococcus by the gold standard,56 sera confirmed Echinococcus granulosus disease by the gold standard and 72 sera as the control group(including healthy people,cirrhosis,hepatitis,etc).Detecting sensitivity and specificity were compared using F test for statistical analysis.Results Orthogonal design showed the size proportion of three factors of echinococcosis ELISA kit:antibody dilution ＞ sample dilution ＞ antigen coating concentration.The optimal preparation conditions were A1 B2 C4,that was,the concentration of antigen was 1 mg/L,sample dilution of 1∶ 100,dilution of secondary antibody of 1∶160 000.Through the 3-factor and 4-level orthogonal design using F-test analysis,the fact of the concentration of the kit antigen(A),F =1.181,P =0.393; the fact of the dilution multiple of the sample (B),F =2.544,P =0.152,the fact of enzyme labeled antigen dilution (C) F =2.544,P =0.039.The sensitivity of the kit to Echinococcus granulosus disease and alveolar Echinococcus were 83％ (30/36),and 91％ (51/56),respectively; the specificity was 91％ (29/32) and 83％ (33/40); the misdiagnosis rate of 17％ (6/36) and 9％ (5/56) ; the misdiagnosis rate 9％ (3/32) and 18％ (7/40) ; positive likelihood ratio 8.86％ (83/9) and 5.20％ (91/18) ; negative likelihood ratio of 0.18％ (17/91) and 0.11％ (9/83).Conclusion Orthogonal design is a good method that can find out optimal conditions of preparation for Echinococcosis ELISA kit and improve the test performance.

Down-regulation of adult hippocampal neurogenesis has been regarded as one of the important biological and cellular basis of depression. Recent studies have shown that there is a close correlation between neurogenesis and angiogenesis. Several angiogenesis factors, especially vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), play a vital role on angiogenesis. They not only have the neurotrophic and neuroprotective effects, but also up-regulate hippocampal neurogenesis. Thus,VEGF may be involved in the occurrence and treatment of major depression. This article reviews current understanding of the relationship between adult brain angiogenesis and depression.

Objective To discuss methods of pedicle screw fixation for thoracolumbar burst fractures among middle and old aged patients with different degree of osteoporosis, and to improve the clinical result by individualized treatment according to fracture characteristics. Methods There were totally 25 patients, 17 males, and 8 females. These patients with a mean age of 52 years (range, 43-63 years), had suffered from thoracolumbar burst fractures consisted of 1 T11 fracture, 6 T12 fractures, 8 L1 fractures, 7 L2 fractures, 3 L3 fractures. According to Jikeis osteoporosis grading system, 5 patients were of early stage, 7 of stage Ⅰ, 13 of stageⅡ. Posterior stabilization with the short-segment pedicle screw system were given to all the patients, among which 6 RF, 8 AF, 5 USS, 6 Socon were performed. Fifteen patients received anterolateral decompression, and ten patients accepted no decompression at all. Some measures were taken in order to enhance the fixation stiffness for pedicle screw system, such as increasing the screws diameter, using the vertebral body reducer to reduce the depressed vertebral body and so on. To enhance vertebral body strength after fracture union, transpedicular bone graft was also performed. Results All the patients achieved fracture union during the follow-up with a mean period of 28 months (range, 9-48 months). All of the fractures were reduced satisfactorily, SI (sagittal index) was improved from 53% to 89% after operation. No fracture of screws or rods occurred, also no screw loosened. No reduction loss was found. Conclusion In order to decrease failure rate of pedicle screw fixation for thoracolumbar fractures among middle and old aged patients, osteoporosis of vertebral body should never be neglected and, of course, treatment should be given with individualized fixation.

Objective To study the level of serum high-sensitive C-reactive protein and HbA1c in diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome,and to investigate the relationship among them.Methods 58 cases of diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome and 65 cases without blood stasis syndrome were observed.The level of FPG,hsCRP,HbA1c,24 h UAER,TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C were estimated.Results The level of FPG,LDL-C,TG,HbA1c,hsCRP of diabetes with blood stasis syndrome were higher than the control group(P 0.05).In patients with blood stasis syndrome,the hsCRP was positively correlated to HbA1c,24 h UAER,BMI,LDL-C,TC,TG,but the multifactor regression analysis indicated that hsCRP was only correlated to the HbA1c independently.Conclusions The long-term hyperglycemia and inflammatory may be one of the reasons for the formation of blood stasis syndrome of diabetes patients,hsCRP and HbA1c may be new evidences for diagnosis of diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome.
