Diffuse-type giant cell tumor is relatively rare than localized giant cell tumor. Moreover, diffuse type giant cell tumor is common in intraarticular area, rarely occurs at intramuscular or subcutaneous layer. We experienced 1 case of giant cell tumor within the deltoid muscle. So we report this case with review of the literatures.

8.Total Spondylectomy for Giant Cell Tumor of Cervical Spine.

Giant cell tumor which is arisen at vertebra is rare and this tumor of the cervical vertebra has been very rarely reported tumor which is less than 1% of all giant cell tumor. When the treatment option is considered, the curretage is often selected rather than total resection because the anatomic relationship of adjacent structures is complicated and there are major vessels and organs around the cervical vertebra. The prognosis of this tumor is decided by degree of resection so, total sponylectomy should be considered as primary surgical option. We report a case of cervical giant cell tumor in which the total spondylectomy was performed successfully and discuss the feasibility of this procedure at cervical region.

9.Malignant Giant Cell Tumor of the Skull.

Giant cell tumor(GCT) is a rare primary bone tumor that seldom involves the skull. Malignant change in the GCT series also develops on rare occasions, but when it does, it most commonly occurs several years after radiation therapy. Furthermore, the malignant change from benign GCT without radiation therapy is extremely rare. The authors present a case of primary malignant GCT that received no previous radiation therapy and that arose from multiple areas of the skull, predominantly in the parieto-occipital region.
