2.Herlyn Werner Wunderlich syndrome: A report of two cases.
Morante Catherine Mae Munoz ; Alensuela Anna Belen I.
Philippine Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2015;39(2):33-38
The association of renal agenesis with ipsilateral blind hemivagina and uterus didelphys is reported as Herlyn-Werner-Wundelich (HWW) syndrome. Presented herein are two cases of HWW syndrome, each with different set of clinical presentations but both with the same arranged diagnostic method and management executed. The first case, 15 year-old nulligravid, manifested severe dysmenorrhea since menarche and is worsening over the past months. On the other hand, the second case, 29 year-old Gravida 1 Para 0 (0010), exhibited cyclic hypogastric pain and gradually enlarging right pelvic mass. Both cases underwent computed tomography scan and ultrasound examination which revealed uterine didelphys, hemivagina obstruction and ipsilateral renal agenesis, yet each has different laterality of mullerian anomaly. Together were managed with full resection of the vaginal septum as well as drainage of the hematometrocolpos, which are, today, the main treatment for patients with HWW syndrome

4.Management of skin lesion of female external genitalia.
Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2010;53(12):1047-1051
Patients with vulval symptoms are met frequently in gynaecological practice. The complaint is often long-standing and distressing and frequently induces a feeling of despair in both patient and doctor. The diagnosis and management of vulval dermatoses require such a multidisciplinary approach and the importance of this has been amply demonstrated by the evolution of combined clinics. Vulval disease in many societies can be the subject of unnecessary and exaggerated shame and embarrassment, hence their frequency and importance have been underestimated.

Anesthesia and Pain Medicine 2012;7(1):22-24
Vulvodynia is a chronic pain syndrome in female genitalia in the absence of visible infectious, inflammatory, or neoplastic findings or a clinically identifiable neurological disorder. We report a case of vulvodynia successfully treated with dry needling using a specially designed round needle (Ahn's needle). A 50-year-old woman was seen with 20-year-history of left-sided vulvar pain in the absence of infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, or neurological disorder. We diagnosed her condition as vulvodynia and conducted dry needling using an Ahn's needle. Dry needling was performed along left upper and middle labiocrural fold. She reported 50% improvement of vulvodynia after the first treatment and 100% improvement after the second treatment. She remained symptom free 9 months after treatment. Our report suggests that dry needling using an Ahn's needle have clinical significance in managing vulvodynia.

Journal of Veterinary Science 2005;6(1):83-85
A pig was confirmed to be a true hermaphrodite on the basis of gross and histomorphological studies of the genital organs. The genitalia was consisted of left ovary, oviduct, two coiled uterine horns, body of uterus alongwith right testis and an epididymis. Vagina and vulva were absent but male urethra with prostate gland was present. Grossly the size of all the genital organs appeared to be normal. Histomorphologically, testis and epididymis were underdeveloped as there was no clearcut spermatogenia and sertoli cells but Leydig cells were normal. The ovary presents normal histological features with some portion of testicular tissue. Degeneration of uterine epithelium was observed along with normal endometrial glands.

Korean Journal of Urology 1997;38(1):102-105
Von Recklinghausen`s neurofibromatosis is an unusual disorder with a wide variety Of manifestations. The initial findings may at times involve the female genitalia. When the phallus is affected, the urologist has an opportunity for the establishment of an accurate diagnosis as well as for cosmetic correction. We report a case of neurofibromatosis with an involvement of clitoris in 1l-year-old girl.

Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is an extremely uncommon neoplasm of the female genitalia. This tumor arises from soft tissue of the perineum, and affects predominantly young women. Although surgical excision with wide tumor-free margins may be necessary to obtain a complete cure, some of patients experience local recurrences because of the infiltrative nature of this tumor. We experienced a case of recurrent huge AAM on the right vulva in 29-year-old woman and reported it with a brief review of literature.
