Objective To assess the feasibility and clinical value of high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HRMRI) in patients with symptomatic severe intracranial stenosis (SSIS).Methods HRMRl wasperformed with a 3.0 T MR scanner on 5 patients with symptomatic middle cerebral(n=3) or basilar (n=2) arterial stenosis of≥70% confirmed bv DSA.Image diagnosis Was made on the basis of HRMRI findings of vessel wall at the stenotic segment by 2 neuroradiologists blinded t0 patient's status. Results Three of the five patients were diagnosed to have advanced intracranial atherosclerosis based on the presence of a complex eccentric atherosclerotic plaque containing a large lipid-rich necrotic core with a heterogeneous post-contrast enhancement and with signs of ruptured fibrous cap.Two other patients were likely to suffer from non-atherosclerotic lesion.HRMRI revealed an iso-signal septum in the arterial lumen attaching to the slighfly thickened arterial wall that was iso-signal with a homogeneous post-contrast enhancement in one patient and an obviously concentrically thickened arterial wall with hypo-intense signal on T1 WI and slightly high signal on T2 WI and PDWI and without any post-contrast enhancement in the remaining patient. Conclusions In vivo HRMRI in patients with SSIS is technically feasible. It provides detailed information of intracranial arterial wall at the stenotic segment.

Objective: To observe the effect of Yi Jin Jing (Sinew-transforming Qigong Exercises) on the muscle strength in senile sarcopenia. Methods: Sixty-five old people with sarcopenia were randomized into Yi Jin Jing group and a blank control group. Thirty-three patients in Yi Jin Jing group practiced Yi Jin Jing (Sinew-transforming Qigong Exercises), while 32 patients in the blank control group didn't receive any interventions. The muscle strength was measured before and after 12-week training. Results: During the study, each group had 1 dropout. The muscle strength was improved after 12-week training in Yi Jin Jing group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); there was no significant difference in the blank control group (P>0.05). After the intervention, there was a significant difference between Yi Jin Jing group and the blank control group in comparing the muscle strength (P<0.05). Conclusion: Constant Yi Jin Jing (Sinew-transforming Qigong Exercises) training can notably improve skeletal muscle strength in senile sarcopenia.

Objective To study the impacts of alcohol dependence on the anticonvulsant effect of diazepam. Meth?ods Kunming mice (n=36) were divided into 3 groups (n=12 in each group), Alcohol Dependence Group(A group), Diaze?pam Group(D group)and Normal Saline Group(N group). A group received an intraperitoneal injection with a 0.2 mL dose of 0.8%alcohol in NS (normal saline) , while both D and N group received an injection with a 0.2 mL dose of NS without alco?hol , twice a day. Mice’s autonomic activities were monitored every day. After 7 days, the electroconvulsive experiment was performed. Both A and D group were given a weight-based dose of 0.05 mL/10 g of 0.05%diazepam via intraperitoneal injec? tion, while N group was given a 0.05 mL/10 g dose of NS. Before administration and after 15, 30, 60 min of administration, the convulsion threshold of each group was measured. Results The count of autonomic activity of mice in A group was less than that of mice in D and N group during the 2nd day to 6th day(P<0.05). On the 1st and 7th day, the difference of the count of autonomic activity of mice between A group and the other two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05). The convulsion threshold of mice in A group was higher than that of mice in D and N group before administration(P<0.05). Af?ter administration, the convulsion threshold of mice in N group didn’t show statistically significant difference from that of mice before administration(P>0.05). After 15 min of administration, the convulsion threshold of mice in D group was high?er than that of mice in A and N group(P<0.05), while the convulsion threshold of mice in A group was higher than that of mice in N group(P<0.05). After 30 min and 60 min of administration, both the convulsion thresholds of mice in A and D group were higher than that of mice in N group(P<0.05). However, at this point, the difference of the convulsion thresholds of mice between A and D group was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion Alcohol dependence has anticon?vulsant effect. Alcohol dependence weakens the anticonvulsant effect of diazepam.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2017;34(8):582-585
Objective To evaluate the effect of two dosages of the dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage on removing bubbles in bowel preparation before colonoscopy. Methods Data of 774 patients who received colonoscopy from November 2015 to April 2016 in People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were randomly divided into groups A, B and C. As the control group, group A only used four boxes of polyethylene glycol ( PEG) for bowel preparation and drank 50 mL water after bowel preparation;group B was given 10 mL dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage with 50 mL water after four boxes of PEG for bowel preparation;group C was given 20 mL dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage with 50 mL water after four boxes of PEG. Intestinal cleanliness, intraluminal gas bubbles and satisfaction were graded by endoscopic physicians. Polyps of less than 5 mm were recorded and adverse reactions were observed. Results There were no significant differences in intestinal cleanliness among groups A, B and C (P>0. 05).The intraluminal gas bubbles grading, physician satisfaction and detection rate of polyps of less than 5 mm of groups B and C were significantly better than those of group A( P<0. 01) , and group C was superior to group B in these variables ( P<0. 01) . The proportion of levelⅠandⅡin foam evaluation in group C was higher than that in group B ( P<0. 01) . Conclusion Dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage can eliminate the bubbles inside the intestine, and the effect of 20 mL dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage for bowel preparation is superior to 10 mL.

OBJECTIVETo analyze a child with facial abnormalities with combined cytogenetic and molecular techniques and delineate its clinical phenotype.
METHODSNeuropsychological profile of the child was analyzed. Color Doppler, CT and MRI were used for detecting the nodules in the body. Conventional peripheral blood karyotypes of the child and his parents were analyzed with G-banding. Array-comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) was performed to detect minor structural chromosomal abnormalities.
RESULTSThe child had mental retardation, maxillofacial dysmorphism on the right side, and irregular solid nodules on the back. The karyotypes of the child and his parents were all normal, while aCGH has identified a de novo constitutive 1.2 Mb deletion at 17q11.2 in the child. The aCGH results of his parents were normal.
CONCLUSIONThe de novo 17q11.2 microdeletion probably underlies the facial abnormalities and neurofibromatosis in the patient.

OBJECTIVETo investigate clinical effects of coracohumeral ligament reconstruction with autologous double-strand of long palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament for the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
METHODSFrom April 2006 to June 2009, 31 patients with acromioclavicular joint dislocation were treated with coracohumeral ligament reconstruction using autologous double-strand palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament. There were 18 males and 13 females, ranging in age from 18 to 60 years, with an average of 35 years. Twenty-six patients were acute trauma and other 5 patients were chronic trauma. Preoperative symptoms included different degrees of pain, restricted movement, and instability of acromioclaviecular joint. The X-ray showed acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
RESULTSThe patients had good incision union without vascular and nerve injuries. All the patients were followed up, and the average duration was 23 months. The JOA scores decreased from preoperative (38.8 +/- 1.5) to (73.2 +/- 1.1) at 1 month after operation, and (93.5 +/- 0.8)at the last follow-up. Twenty-eight patients got an excellent result, 2 good and 1 fair.
CONCLUSIONThe reconstruction of coracohumeral ligament using autologous double-strand palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament is an effective method for the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation.

Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2014;(5):484-488
Objective To examine the association between domestic violence and mental/general health status among married migrant women at reproductive age. Methods A total of 958 eligible married migrant women of reproductive age who were selected through community-based multiple-stage sampling method in one urban district in Shanghai and interviewed in April and May 2010. Chi-square test,Fisher’s exact test and unconditional logistic regression model were used for data analysis. Results The overall prevalence of domestic violence in husbands was 40.0%. Among 5 adverse outcomes related to general health and 6 adverse outcomes related to mental health, exposing to physical or sexual violence in the life time or in the previous year were associated with 2 adverse outcomes related to general health(including often in pain/discomfort and sleeping problems) and 4 adverse outcomes related to mental health(including often feeling nervous/tense/worry,easily getting frightened, crying more than usual, often feeling worthless on herself or being indifferent to the surroundings). Experience of control behavior was associated with 1 adverse outcome that related to general health (often in pain or discomfort) and 3 adverse outcomes related to mental health including easily get frightened, feeling worthless on herself or indifferent to the surroundings, Experience of emotional violence in the previous year was associated with pain or discomfort feelings. Compared with those who had never experienced any violence from husband after adjusting for potential influencing factors in logistic regression models, respondents who had ever experienced physical or sexual violence, control behavior or emotional violence, the numbers were respectively, presented 2.25-3.70 times,1.94-4.75 times and 2.12 times, more likely to report the above-mentioned adverse health outcomes. Conclusion Domestic violence was associated with general and mental health among married migrant women at reproductive age, especially physical or sexual violence and control behaviors.
