Objective To discuss the causes and treatment of angulated healing of long bone shaft fracture at lower limbs. Methods 12 cases of patients with the angulated healing of femoral and tibiofibular fractures were treated surgically in our hospital. In the operation, the plane and angle of the osteotomy were designed according to the specific angulation to restore the normal vertical alignment of the knee joint so that traumatic arthropathy of the knee could be treated or prevented. Results All the patients were followed up for 6 months to 12 years (averaging 66 months). Their lameness was greatly improved, the pain at their knee joints was relieved, and the occurrence or development of the arthropathy were obviously delayed. Conclusions When the angulation of healed long bone shaft fracture at lower limbs exceeds the physical weight bearing line, the condition should be treated surgically. The corrected angulation can delay the occurrence and development of arthritis at the knee. Moreover, corrected angulation and restored alignment is a good method to treat arthropathy of the knee joint.

[Objective] To analyze the stress distribution in facet joint of lumbar spine on normal and degenerative models with biomechanical method during the manipulation. [Methods] The finite element model of lumbar facet joint of L4-5 were reconstructed with finite element method and imaging method. Different movements such as anteflexion, retroflexion, lateral flexion, rotation and compression were loaded on the models and then stress distribution during the mimetic spinal manipulation was analyzed and compared. [Results] The facet joint of lumbar spine has an important role in resisting load, especially in resisting rotation. [ Conclusion ] The strong flexion-rotation manipulation should be avoided for seriously degenerative subject.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the management experience of protective measures for emergently admitted influenza H1N1 patients in our hospital who were converted from general ward into isolated ward in no more than three hours.METHODS Laying out the guideline of the work, personal training and personal protective measures were taken to manage the staff who working in the isolated ward.RESULTS There was statistically significant difference in hand washing, wearing mask and head wear, taken off gloves, mask and clothes among medical staff who worked in the isolated ward,in comparison with staff from other ward and non-medical staff From 14 points of suruey.there were 8 points were over 80% pass rate. The use of protective equipment was correct.without any cross infection.CONCLUSIONS Management of protective measures plays an important role in control of cross infection in treatment of H1N1 patients.

OBJECTIVE To develop a new DNA chip for rapid detection of rpoB,katG and inhA gene mutation in rifampin and/or isoniazid-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolated from clinical laboratorial specimen.METHODS We designed 16 oligonucleotide probes specific for detection of the mutant sequences in genes rpoB,katG and inhA.RESULTS Mutations were found in 26 strains(100%) of 26 randomly selected rifampin-resistant M.tuberculosis and 24 strains(80%) of 30 randomly selected isoniazid-resistant M.tuberculosis by DNA chip.CONCLUSIONS DNA chip technology has high sensitivity and specificity in detection of rifampin-resistant M.tuberculosis and may be applied in clinical diagnosis.
