Medicinal materials research and development of new drug of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) research is the premise and foundation of new drug research and development, it throughout the whole process of new drug research. Medicinal materials research is one of the main content of the pharmaceutical research of new drug of TCM, and it is also the focus of the new medicine pharmaceutical evaluation content. This article through the analysis of the present problems existing in the development of TCM research of new drug of TCM, from medicine research concept, quality stability, quality standard, etc are expounded, including medicine research idea value medicine study should focus on the important role and from the purpose for the top-level design of new drug research problem. Medicinal materials quality stability should pay attention to the original, medicinal part, origin, processing, storage, planting (breeding), and other aspects. Aspect of quality standard of medicinal materials should pay attention to establish the quality standards of conform to the characteristics of new drug of TCM. As the instruction of TCM new drug research and development and the scientific nature of the review, and provide the basis for medicinal material standards.

0.05).The responsiveness of detrusor muscle cells in elderly group to isoprenaline,BRL37344 and forskolin was significantly lower than that in control group ( P 0.05 ).The Bmax of ?-adrenoceptor was 26.9 fmol/mg and 32.4 fmol/mg in elderly and control groups, respectively, with significant difference between the 2 groups (P0.05). Conclusions There is an age-related decline in ?-adrenergic responsiveness, which might be one of the causative factors of the reduced bladder compliance of the elderly. The decrease of cAMP level caused by reduced receptor density and adenylyl cyclase activity might be the molecular mechanisms underlying the changes of ?-adrenergic responsiveness.

Objective To evaluate the value of laparoscope in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive jaundice in infants. Methods 52 cases of obstructive jaundice were diagnosed and treated under laparoscope. Results 2 cases were converted to open operation because of a lot of ascitic fluid. The diagnosis of other 50 cases was confirmed under laparoscopic cholangiography, including biliary atresia in 33 cases, bile duct hypoplasia in 10 ones and cholestasis in 7 ones. Hepatic portal-intestinal anastomosis was operated on 43 patients. Liver biopsy was done in 38 cases. Biliary duct cannula and irrigation were performed in 9 cases. Conclusions Laparoscope is an accurate and reliable technique in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive jaundice in infants and it can avoid open surgery for infants with cholestasis.

1 week,7 cases of pneumothorax,11 cases of subcutaneous emphysema,3 cases of bar rotation, and 4 cases of unilateral stabilizing bar displacement.Incisional infection was found in 3 cases,2 of which received a removal of the bar and 1 of which was cured with debridement and dressing changes.During a follow-up evaluation for 3~28 months, the outcomes were calssified as excellent in 42 cases, good in 4 cases, fair in 3 cases, and poor in 4 cases. Conclusions The Nuss procedure is safe and effective for the correction of pecrus excavatum in children.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To study the expression of ? 3 adrenoceptor (? 3 AR) and its function in human detrusor cells. Methods Cellular functional studies, radioligand binding experiments and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction were used to determine the expression and its influence on detrusor contractions. Results mRNA of 3 subtypes of ? ARs was detected. Non selective ? AR agonists and ? 3 AR decreased the contractions of detrusor cells induced by KCL, but both agonist and antagonists of ? 1 and ? 2 AR could not influence the contraction;BRL37344 concentration dependently displaced dihydroalprenolol binding to the membrane of detrusor cells. Conclusions The mRNA of subtypes of ? ARs is distributed in human detrusor cells, but ? 3 ARs is the main receptor mediating detrusor relaxation.

ObjectiveTo explore methods and prevent complication with transection and intra fixation of breastbone and costa to treat pectus excavatum in children. Methods35 cases cured with transection and intra fixation of breastbone and costa to treat pectus excavatum were analyzed. Results35 cases have good contours in one operation. 1 case's pleurisy was wounded slightly. 2 case complicated with lung infection. Conclusionstransection and intra fixation of breastbone and costa is a simple methods to treat pectus excavatum in children and it has little complication..It's orthopaedic is obvious. It is worth to spread.

Objective To investigate the influence of transient receptor potential canonical 6 (TRPC6) on the proliferation of hUVEC induced by the supematant from human prostate cancer cells (DU145). Methods Experiment group was treated with the mixture of DU145 cells supernatant and DMEM medium in different ratio, control group was treated with DMEM medium. The change of cell proliferation was detected by MTT method, and TRPC6 gene and protein was detected by PCR and Western-blot methods respectively. Results After incubated for 48h with the supematant from cultured DU145 cells, the population of hUVECs increased obviously, and the expression of TRPC6 genes and protein had clearly up-regulation. Conclusion The supernatant from cultured DU145 cells could effectively enhance the proliferation of hUVECs. The mechanisms might be that the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells was mediated by TRPC6.

Objective To investigate the operation treatment of gallbladder carcinoma(GBC). Methods The clinical data of 132 patients with GBC from 1980 to 1999 were analysed. Results The mean age was 55 years and the occurrence sex ratio in female/male was 1.5∶1. Gallstone was found in 80% of the patients, and 87.1% of the GBC were adenocarcinoma. Before December 1990(forward group), simple cholecystectomy were performed on 11 cases, radical cholecystectomy on 9 cases, extended radical cholecystectomy on 5 cases, palliative extra- or intra- drainge on 15 cases, surgical biopsy on 30% cases. Hospital death occurred in 4 cases, the postoperative complications occurred in 20 cases including biliary fistula in 4 cases, pancreatic fistula in 2 cases. Since January 1991(latter group), radical simple cholecystectomy were performed on 2 cases, radical cholecystectomy on 16 cases, extended radical cholecystectomy on 24 cases; palliative extra- or intra- drainge in 9 cases, surgical biopsy on 8 cases. Hospital death occurred in 1 cases; postoperative complications in 12 cases, including biliary fistula in 1 cases, pancreatic fistula in 1 cases. Radical resection rate was 35.7% in forword group, 72.6% in latter group. Conclusions Surgical tech-nique progress and application with Peng's Multifunctional Operative Dissector can improve the resection rate of GBC. Extended redical resection is an effective and active method to treat middle or late stage GBC.
