Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(17):-
Objective To investigate the expression of an inhibitor gene of apoptosis, clusterin, in prostate cancer and its relationship with the genesis and progression of prostate cancer and with the expressions of bcl 2 and p53. Methods The expressions of clusterin, bcl 2, and p53 in 10 cases of normal prostatic tissues, 15 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and 49 cases of prostate cancer were examined by immunohistochemical staining. Results The rates of strong positive or weak positive of clusterin in normal prostatic tissues, BPH, and prostate cancer were 10% (1/10), 66.6% (10/15), and 91.8% (45/49), respectively. The expression level of clusterin in prostate cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal prostatic tissues ( P

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(1):73-76
Total hip replacement (THR) is replacing the prosthesis stem similar to human bone that takes advantage of the material with both good mechanical properties and biocompatibility to the damaged articular surface. Thus it can not only alleviate or even eliminate the pain but also effectively maintain the joint stability and freedom and restore its normal performance. Finite element analysis was used in this study to establish a 3D model of artificial hip stem, and explore its fatigue properties of different materials to ensure the safety and reliability. The calculating obtained two results of different metal hip prosthesis, including lifetime and deformation. The minimum service life of titanium prosthesis reaches 568 million times, which satisfies ISO standards, while the stainless steel does not suit to be a prosthesis material.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the inhibitory effect of the total flavoniods of Ampelopsis grossedentata on human hepatoma carcinoma cells(HCC) in vitro.METHODS:The inhibitory effect of the total flavoniods of Ampelopsis grossedentata extract on human hepatoma carcinoma BEL7404 cells in vitro was analyzed by MTT,cell growth curve method and colony formation method, respectively.RESULTS:The total flavonoids of Ampelopsis grossedentata significantly inhibited the growth of BEL 7404 cells in vitro.MTT assay showed that the IC50 was 28.59 ?g?mL-1;the cell growth curve measurement showed that the total flavonoids of Ampelopsis grossedentata significantly inhibited the growth of BEL 7404 cells;the colony formation assay showed that the IC50 was 100% at a drug concentration of above 22.22 ?g?mL-1 and the IC50 was 58.05% at a drug concentration of 14.81 ?g?mL-1.CONCLUSION:The total flavonoids of Ampelopsis grossedentata have a remarkable inhibitory effects on the growth of BEL 7404 in vitro.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(22):3044-3047
OBJECTIVE:To study the regulatory effect of lentinan (LTN) on immune function in ulcerative colitis (UC) rats and its mechanism. METHODS:64 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group(12 rats)and modeling group(52 rats). UC model was induced in modeling group by a compound method of 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene(DNCB)acetone and 2,4-DNCB etha-nol. After modeling, rats were randomly divided into model group, positive group (sulfasalazine tablet, 300 mg/kg), LTN low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose groups(0.2,0.4,0.8 mg/kg),with 10 rats in each group. Treatment groups were given rele-vant medicine intragastrically, and normal group and model group were given normal saline intragastrically, once a day,for consec-utive 15 d. The levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+in peripheral blood lymphocytes(PBMC)and the levels of TNF-α,IL-2,IL-4 and IL-10 in colon were all determined, and the pathological changes of colon tissue were observed. RESULTS:Compared with normal group, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,the ratio of CD4+/CD8+,and the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 decreased significantly, while the levels of TNF-α and IL-2 in colon tissue significantly increased(P<0.05);obvious ulcerative lesion was observed in colon tissue (concentrated in grade Ⅱ and Ⅲ). Compared with model group, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,the ratio of CD4+/CD8+,and the levels of IL-4,IL-10 increased significantly, while the levels of TNF-α,IL-2 in colon tissue significantly decreased (P<0.05);the inflammation of colon tissue was significantly reduced, and the ulcer formation was significantly improved. CONCLUSIONS:LTN has a certain improvement effect on UC model rats, and its mechanism may be related to enhancing the immune function.

Objective To investigated the effect of somatostatin(SS)on cholecystokinin-induced alterations of exocrine function and the redistribution of the F-actin in the pancreatic acinar cells.MethodsIn vitro, isolated rat pancreatic acini were divided into 12 groups:normal control group, different concentrations ofcholecystokinin-octapeptide groups(CCK-8)of 10-12,10-11,10-10,10-9 or 10-8 mol/L,SS group(10-7mol/L),SS and different dose CCK-8 groups. The acinar cells were stimulated with different concentrations of CCK-8 for 30 min in the presence or absence of 10-7 mol/L SS.Amylase and trypsin activity were measured using corresponding assay kits, and F-actin distribution in pancreatic acinar cells were detected by laser confocal microscopy.ResultsSS stabilized the structure of cytoskeleton in acinar cells, and remarkably increased the ratio of subapical/basolateral F-actin(P

Chinese Journal of Urology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Prostant TM in the treatment of chronic prostatitis. Methods A multi center, randomized, double blinded, placebo controlled trial was carried out during March 2001 and May 2001. 72 cases of patients who had been diagnosed as chronic prostatitis were separated into tow groups: 36 cases in the trial group treated with Prostant TM and the other 36 cases in the controlled group using placebo. The efficacy was evaluated by the WBC in EPS and NIH Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index after a one month follow up. The efficacy of the therapy was divided into four levels:cure, the symptom index score being reduced over 90%, and the number of WBC in the EPS less than 10/HP; effective, the symptom index score being reduced 60%~89% and the number of WBC in the EPS lowered over 50% or less than 15/HP;improved,the symptom index score being reduced 30%~59% and the number of WBC in the EPS lowered over 25%; no effect, the symptom index score being reduced less than 30% or the number of WBC in the EPS lowered no more than 25%. Results All but two cases had completed the follow up.One case (2.8%) was completely cured, remarkable effective in 7 cases (20.0%) of the trial group;and improred in 16 cases (45.7%).Only 2 cases (5.7%)seemed effective and 8 cases (22.8%) improved in the controlled group. The efficacy showed significant difference between these two groups ( P
