Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2017;33(2):218-222
Aim To investigate the effect of green tea polyphenols(GTP)on serum level of uric acid in potas-sium oxonate (PO)-induced hyperuricemic mice, and explore the potential mechanism. Methods PO and GTP were intragastricly administered to mice for seven consecutive days.Uric acid level in serum was exam-ined.Meanwhile,activity and expressions of xanthine oxidase(XOD)in liver were tested. In additon,ex-pressions of urate transporters including urate-anion transporter (URAT ) 1 , organic anion transporter (OAT)1 and 3 in kidney were analyzed. Results GTP significantly decreased the serum level of uric acid in PO-induced hyperuricemic mice.At the same time, GTP markedly reduced the activity and expression of XOD in liver of hyperuricemic mice. Finally,GTP markedly reduced the expression of URAT1 ,OAT1 and OAT3 in kidney of hyperuricemic mice. Conclusion GTP has the effect of lowering uric acid in PO-induced hyperuricemic mice through both decreasing the uric acid production and increasing uric acid excretion.

OBJECTIVETo observe thee efficacy of different ways of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for treating elderly coronary heart disease (CHD) patients.
METHODSTotally 470 elderly CHD patients were classified to three age brackets (equal to or more than 85 years old, 60 to 74 years old, 75 to 84 years old). They were assigned to the transradial intervention (TRI) group (236 cases) and the transfemoral intervention (TFI) group (234 cases) according to different intervention pathways. Correlated indices and postoperative clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.
RESULTSA higher successful rate of surgery was obviously got in patients 85 years old or older than 85 than in those 60 to 74 years old and 75 to 84 years old (P <0. 05). The incidence of major cardiovascular events (MACE) was reduced at post-operative 12 and 24 months in patients 85 years old or older than 85 (P <0. 05). The case number for changing intervention pathway were increased in the TRI group with statistical difference (P <0. 05). Compared with the TFI group, the case number for changing intervention pathway was increased; the time for arteriopuncture, the time for catheterization, and the time for X-ray exposure were prolonged; the time for postoperative bedding were obviously shortened; the incidence of vascular complications at the puncture site were lowered. The incidence of postoperative 12-month MACE was lowered, all with statistical difference (all P <0. 05). The incidence of MACE within postoperative 24-month MACE decreased in patients 60 to 74 years old and 75 to 84 years old (P <0. 05). The incidence of MACE within postoperative 24 months increased in patients 85 years old or older than 85 of the TRI group with statistical difference (P <0. 05).
CONCLUSIONTRI can be preferably chosen for PC in treating elderly CHD patients.

Receptor activity modifying proteins (RAMPs) is a kind protein with transmembrane functionality.RAMPs can interact with TypeⅡ G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) such as calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor (CGRPR),calcitonin receptor (CTR) and calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CRLR),to form a stable heterodimer expression on the cell membrane.Different RAMPs can combine with CRLR or CTR to produce different receptor phenotypes with ligand-specific affinity and thus can decide biological effect of the receptors. In addition,RAMPs can also interact with other GPCRs,which promise broader application in function regulation of G-proteincoupled receptor of RAMPs'.RAMPs' regulation of GPCRs depends on its molecular basis. Our studies of RAMPs provides a new perspective to further researches on GPCRs functionality and CGRP signal transduction.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(42):-
Mature animal models of rabbit ear scars were made from formation to maturation. Tissue oxygen partial pressure was determined by percutaneous oxygen monitoring at 14,30,60 and 90 days, and then pathology examination was performed. Fourteen days after surgery, bright red granulation tissues had a large number of inflammatory cells and angiogenesis; oxygen partial pressure was (0.81?0.25) kPa. Thirty days after surgery, the scars were significantly higher than the normal skin, bright red, made up of a large number of fibroblasts and capillary in the organizations; the partial pressure of oxygen was (1.98? 0.26) kPa. At 60 days after surgery, the scars were shrinking; color was light; the organization fibroblast cells and microvessel decreased; partial pressure oxygen was (1.86?0.60) kPa. Ninety days after surgery, the scars were flat; color was white; organizational structure was closed to normal skin; oxygen partial pressure was (13.70?1.16) kPa (P
