To observe the changes in hemorheology, endotoxin and TNF ? in blood after hemoperfusion(HP) with adsorbent immobilized polymyxin B (PMB) on sepsis in rats. Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups:LPS+HP+PMB,LPS+HP and LPS. All the rats received intravenously injection of lipopolysaccharide (LPS, Escherichia coil O111:B4,1mg/kg). Plasma of the rats in the group of LPS+HP+PMB was passed through a column containing sepharose coated activated charcoal immobilized polymyxin B at the 4th hour after LPS injection. The treated plasma was transfused bak after being mixed with blood cells. In LPS+HP group, the column did not contain immobilized polymyxin B. The animals of LPS group received LPS only. Quantitative endotoxin determination in blood was done with limulus amebocyte lysate test,TNF ? of the plasma assayed with ELISA, and hemorheology parameters were also observed after hemoperfusion. In LPS+HP+PMB group, the concentration of plasma was significantly decreased after hemoperfusion, but it was still significantly higher than the baseline value, and there was a decrease of blood cell ratio after hemoperfusion. The results suggest that specific adsorbent could remove endotoxin in the circulation and improve hemorheology.

Accurate qualitative and quantitative assessment of anterior or posterior segment structures is crucial, not only for proper diagnosis of different ocular diseases but also for optimal surgical planning and postoperative follow-up.As a noninvasive and noncontact method, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has become an essential tests for the diagnosis of retinal diseases. To a more recent technology,swept-source OCT (SS-OCT) improved the depth of imaging and the scan speed, which can perform anterior segment evaluation liking corneal graft examination.Meanwhile, this newly technology add multimodal approach such as EVV,OCTA and En face OCT,for angiography and choroid mapping.Thus,SS-OCT has become a valuable imaging strategy to understand the pathologies of retinal diseases such as PVD,diabetic maculopathy, neovascularization and macular telangiectasia. With the use of multimodal approach,SS-OCT is beneficial for optimal surgical planning and postoperative follow-up for the vitreoretinal diseases, such as epiretinal membrane, retinal detachment, and diabetic taction retinal detachment. Moreover, this technology can help us better understand the ophthalmic pathologies of glaucoma and tumors. This article reviews the technical principles of SS-OCT and the advances in clinical applications.

Objective:To establish a method for determining the immunological activity of ribonucleic acid. Methods: Leucocyte adherence inhibition test ( LAI) was applied, and the important parameters of LAI including the mouse strain, drug concentration, treatment time, content of buffer solution and cell density were researched. The immunological activity of RNAⅠ, Ⅱand Ⅲ was re-spectively determined by the method. Results:Stable and reliable parameters were obtained: the sample concentration was 10 mg· ml-1 , the treatment time was 2 hours, Ca2+ and Mg2+ were necessary for the buffer solution, and the cell density was about 4 × 107 cell·ml-1 . The strain of mouse showed no effect on the results. As a result, the determination method for immunological activity was established. Using the method, the immunological activity of RNA Ⅰ,Ⅱand Ⅲ was determined 3 times, and the results met the re-quirements with RSD below 20%. Conclusion:The method is suitable for determining the immunological activity of RNA.

Objective: To study the influence of anterior crossbite on the position and morphology of teeth. Methods: 81 teenagers with permanent dentition and anterior crossbite were in volved in group 1 and 95 teenagers in permanent dentition without anterior crossbite in group 2. The teeth in both groups were compared on their position and morphology. Results:① The percentage of ill-positioned teeth in maxilla in group 1 and in group 2 was 14.0% and 8.8% respectively (P

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of mini-invasive multichannel drainage in the treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage combined with severe ventricular hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 76 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage combined with severe ventricular hemorrhage were analyzed. They were divided into observation group and control group by random digits table method with 38 cases each. The patients in observation group were performed intracranial hematoma catheterized drainage combined with ventricle drainage under CT positioning, and the patients in control group were performed small bone window craniotomy combined with ventricle drainage. The conditions related to surgery and prognosis were compared between 2 groups. Results The operation time, blood loss and hospital stay in observation group were (46.2 ± 25.2) min, (35.4 ± 18.1) ml and (15.2 ± 2.5) d, and those in control group were (108.5±32.5) min, (112.5 ± 35.2) ml and (18.5 ± 3.2) d, there were statistical differences between 2 groups (P<0.01). Two cases died perioperatively in each group. The Glasgow outcome score (GOS) 1 month after operative in observation:9 patients were 5 scores, 19 patients were 4 scores, and the rate of better prognosis was 73.68%(28/38);in control group: 8 patients were 5 scores, 18 patients were 4 scores, and the rate of better prognosis was 68.42% (26/38). There was no statistical difference between 2 groups (χ2 = 0.256, P = 0.613). Conclusions Mini-invasive multichannel drainage is a safe and effective method for hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage combined with severe ventricular hemorrhage, and has the minimal invision.

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of dexmedetomidine(DDM)under monitored anesthesia care(MAC)in oral and maxillofacial patients undergoing percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy(PDT).Methods:38 patients with oral and maxillofa-cial tumor undergoing PDT before surgery were randomly assigned into 2 groups(n =19).Patients in group D received a single-dose DDMof 0.5 μg/kg infused for 10 min;those in group Mreceived 2 mg of midazolam and 1 μg/kg of fentanil. Then all patients were given local anesthesia followed by PDT.MAP,HR and SpO2 were monitored before (T0 )and after drug administration (T1 ),at T2 (skin incision)and T3 (insert dilation catheter).Ramsay scorce, bucking, respiration depression and adverse cardiovascular reaction were recorded. All patients were followed up 24 h postoperatively for the observation of adverse recall of PDT.Results:Compared with T0 ,at T1 ,T2 MAP and HR in group D were lower, but MAP and HR at T3 in group Mwere higher(P <0.05).At T1 ,T2 and T3 ,MAP and HR in group D were significantly lower than those in group M(P <0.05).During operation, the incidence of bucking and respiration depression in group D was lower than that in group M(P <0.05).Conclusion:During PDT operation under MAC,a single-dose dexmedetomidine is effective in stablizing hemodynamics, reducing bucking and respiration depression.
