2.Retrospectire Analysis of 107 Cases of Liver Injury Induced by TCM or Chemical Medicine

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational drug use. METHODS:107 patients with drug-induced liver injury (DILI)admitted to liver disease department of our hospital during Jan. 2011 to Dec. 2015 were divided into TCM group and chemi-cal medicine group according to the type of medicine. DILI clinical characteristics,prognosis,medicine types of DILI were com-pared and analyzed between 2 groups. RESULTS:47 cases of DILI were induced by TCM,which mainly were health care and body beauty medicines(19.1%),rheumatism and arthritis medicines(14.9%)and dermatological medicines(10.6%). 60 cases of DILI were induced by chemical medicine,which mainly were antineoplastics(21.7%),antimicrobial(20.0%)and antituberculot-ics (11.7%). Gender,average age,the time from primary medication to disease attack and clinical classification were no signifi-cant difference between 2 groups(P>0.05). The clinical manifestations of the 2 groups were similar,except that fatigue was more common in the TCM group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The liver function indicators of TCM group as ALT,AST, TBIL and ALP were higher than those of chemical medicine group,while ALT and TBIL were significantly different between 2 groups(P<0.05). The liver injuries were more serious in the TCM group than in chemical medicine group,with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). After treatment,the prognosis and the prognosis of liver function indicator in 2 groups were not statistically sig-nificant(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Doctors and pharmacists should cooperate to master medication indication strictly,develop ADR monitoring and conduct blood concentration monitoring of high-risk DILI medicines,especially the hepatotoxicity of TCM so as to reduce the occurrence of DILI and guarantee the safety of clinical drug use.
3.Effect of tibial diaphyseal lengthening on the longitudinal growth of the tibia

[Objective]To study the effect of tibial diaphyseal lengthening on the longitudinal growth of the tibia.[Method]Rabbit models of tibial diaphyseal lengthening and tibial osteotomy were established.Standard radiography of the tibia was taken and the length of the tibia was measured.Histology of the proximal and distal tibia was made and the thickness of the growth plate was measured.[Result]Tibial osteotomy alone stimulated the longitudinal growth of the tibia and increased the thickness of the growth plate.However,tibial diaphyseal lengthening suppressed this stimulation resulting in natural longitudinal growth and normal thickness of the growth plate that matched the normal side.[Conclusion]Diaphyseal lengthening of tibia does not inhibit the longitudinal growth of the tibia.

Henoch Sch?nlein purpura( HSP) is a vasculitis of primary systemic vascular lesions of aller-gic diseases in children. Henoch Schonlein purpura nephritis( HSPN) is the most common allergic purpura sec-ondary renal disease,hematuria and(or)proteinuria of allergic in purpura the course(the most six months) can make diagnosis. The clinical manifestations varyies in severity,and the incidence has increased year by year,the incidence may be related to infections, allergies, immune abnormalities, immune damage and so on. So raising awareness of children nephritis,early diagnosis,early treatment has a great impact on the prognosis of children.

The effect of molecular cytogenetics in pathogenesis of multiple myeloma (MM) is fundamental.The risk stratification system that based on molecular cytogenetics of MM is widely applicable in the prognosis of MM.The aberration of molecular cytogenetics is the most important marker of MM.At the same time,high-risk MM is associated with intra-clonal tumor heterogeneity and clonal evolution.The research of intra-clonal tumor heterogeneity and clonal evolution which based on the aberration of molecular cytogenetics will provide some additional information of the biology of MM and contribute to the optimum treatment for MM patients.
8. Triterpenoids and sterols from Melia azedarach and their anti-diabetes activities

Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents from the barks of Melia azedarach and their antidiabetes activities. Methods: The constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel, reverse phase silica gel, and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, and their structures were identified by spectra and physiochemical characteristic analysis. The agonist activities of the isolated triterpenoids against glucokinase (GK) and SIRT1, and the inhibitory activity against dipeptidyl peptidasesIV (DPPIV), and 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (11β-HSD) were tested in vitro. Results: Six triterpenoids and three sterols were obtained from MeOH extract in the barks of M. azedarach and were elucidated as meliastatin 3 (1), kulonic acid (2), kulactone (3), sendanolactone (4), dubione B (5), 20, 24-cyclotirucalla-7(8)-en-16β, 21α, 25-trihydroxy-3-one (6), 3β-hydroxy-5, 8-epidioxy-ergosta-6, 22-diene (7), 2β, 3β, 4β-trihydroxy-pregn-16-one (8), and 3β-hydroxy-pregn-5, 17 (20)-dien-16-one (9). Compound 2 showed the inhibitory activity against 11β-HSD1 with the IC50 value of 54.15 nmol/L. Conclusion: Compounds 6-9 are obtained from this species for the first time. The tested compounds 1-4 are inactive against GK, SIRT1, and DPPIV, but compound 2 shows high selectivity against human 11β-HSD.
