A L-arginine-producing mutant UN100-12(SG~(r),AE~(r)) was derived from Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC138761 by combination treatment with ultraviolet(UV) and N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(NTG). It could accumulate 16.6g/L L-arginine in the medium containing glucose as carbon source and ammonium sulfate as nitrogen source, when it was culrured at 30℃ for 4 days. And also this mutant has good stability of descendiblity of L-arginine.

The course of audiology is both important and difficult to the undergraduate education of otolaryngology.Through a series of reforms in teaching contents and methods of audiology,the students'effect of study were greatlyimproved,and thus these reforms were generally appreciated by both teachers and students. In conclusion, the act of theteaching reform not only advanced the students' learning enthusiasm and gumption, but also helps the development andexercise in their clinical thinking ability.

Objective:To observe the effect of subtle adjustment of the cervical spine combined with Shu Jing Ding Xuan (Neck-relaxing and Dizziness-alleviating) Decoction for cervical vertigo.
Methods:An open-label, randomized and parallel controlled clinical study was designed. Subtle adjustment of the cervical spine combined with Shu Jing Ding Xuan (Neck-relaxing and Dizziness-alleviating) Decoction was used for patients in the treatment group, whereas subtle adjustment alone was used for patients in the control group. The results in the two groups were statistically analyzed after two courses of treatment.
Results:The recovery rate and total effective rate in the treatment group were 20.6%and 88.2%respectively, versus 14.7%and 73.5%in the control group. The inter-group differences were statistically significant (both P<0.01).
Conclusion: Subtle adjustment of the cervical spine combined with Shu Jing Ding Xuan (Neck-relaxing and Dizziness-alleviating) Decoction is better than subtle adjustment alone for cervical vertigo.

Objective:To evaluate the reliability of localization of the impacted teeth by assessing various conventional radiographies. Methods:32 patients with impacted teeth were included. The impacted teeth were localized by conventional roentgenographic techniques including panoramic radiography (PR) and linear tomography (LT).Results:Dentomaxillary orthopantomographic solution (PR,LT and PR combined with LT) clearly presented the position of the impacted teeth. Serial cross-section linear tomography also ensured the shape and axis of the impacted teeth captured on the radiograph. The accuracy of the localization was further verified by the surgical exposure in 5 cases. Conclusion:Orthopantomographic assessing can directly and precisely localize the buccal and lingual position of the impacted teeth.

Objective To investigate the association between tumor necrosis factor(TNF) promot- er polymorphisms and susceptibility to ulcerative colitis(UC) in the Chinese Han population.Methods Blood samples from 110 unrelated UC patients and 292 healthy controls from Zhejiang Province,Eastern China were studied.Genotyping for 6 common TNF promoter polymorphisms (TNF—1031T/C,—863C/A,—857C/T,—380G/A,—308G/A,—238G/A)was carried out using polymerase chain se- quence-specific primer (PCR-SSP).Results TNF—308A was associated with susceptibility to UC (al- lele frequency patients 14.6% vs.controls 8.9%,P=0.02).TNF—857T was increased in patients but did not reach statistical significance (allele frequency 17.3% vs.12.2%,P=0.06).Haplotype analysis revealed 6 haplotypes including two (H5 and H3) which contained TNF-308A.H5 was associ- ated with disease (haplotype frequency patients—12.3% vs.controls 7.5%,P=0.03).Homozygosity for the haplotype H4 comprising the common alleles at each TNF promoter SNP was negatively associat- ed with disease (patients vs.controls 24.5% vs.34.9%,P＜0.05).Conclusions We report first the association of TNF-308A polymorphisms with UC in Chinese patients.The functional study of the poly- morphisms in Chinese Han population is required.

Objective:To longitudinally analyze the unit costs and technical efficiency of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) voluntary counseling and testing in China.Methods:Unit costs were calcula-ted by the province and period using longitudinal data from 7 provinces covered by Global Fund China AIDS Program Round 3,and then technical efficiency and Malmquist indices were measured with an approach to data envelopment analysis.Results:The unit costs for HIV voluntary counseling and testing changed dramatically over a 3+-year period,decreasing from $165.97(mean) to $53.41,with an accumulative unit cost of $67.19,and its technical efficiency was averaging between 0.44 and 0.63.Conclusion:The time series of unit costs for HIV voluntary counseling and testing formed a U-shape curve with an inflection point before which unit costs dramatically dropped and another inflection point beyond which unit costs went up.These findings can inform program managers of the changing unit costs when extending or expanding HIV prevention efforts.

Objective:To construct a recombinant adenovirus vector carrying human cytomegalovirus(hCMV) UL144 gene and to explore the biological characteristics of UL144 gene-modified DCs.Methods:The UL144 gene was amplified from hCMV DNA,which was extracted from hCMV-DNA positive serum.The recombinant adenovirus vector carrying hCMV UL144 gene was constructed with AdEasy system and then transfected into HEK293 cells to create recombinant adenovirus Ad-UL144.The expression of inserted gene was identified by RT-PCR.The recombinant adenovirus was then transfected into mice myeloid dendritic cells.The surface proteins of dendritic cells were analyzed by FACS,and cytokines in supernatant were detected by ELISA.T cell proliferation stimulated by gene-modified DC was examined by 3H-TdR uptake assay.Results:The UL144 gene was successfully cloned into the pAdEasy-1 plasmid.The recombinant adenovirus Ad-UL144 was packed in HEK293 cells,with a viral titer of 3?1010 pfu/ml.DCs infected with AdCMV-UL144 had markedly decreased surface expression of CD80,CD86 and I-Ad(P

Objective To evaluate the thoracolumbar injury severity score [ thoracolumbar injury classifica-tion and severity score(TLICS)]and repeatability,and analyze its clinical significance in the treatment of injury of thoracolumbar.Methods The clinical and imaging data of our hospital (thoracolumbar X ray,CT examination,MRI examination) of intact thoracolumbar fractures in 90 patients were retrospectively analyzed ,respectively,TLICS score were made for their site of spinal injury morphology ,neural function and the posterior ligament complex three .Three months after reviewed ,TLICS was analyzed by using Cohen weighted kappa coefficient score .Its repeatability was ana-lyzed.Results According to the TLICS system ,spinal injury body ,nerve function and the integrity of the posterior ligamentous complex were evaluated , respectively, the repeatability coefficient of Kappa , the calculated total to 0.47 non operation group,operation group,the total score was 0.46,with a moderate consistency.The neural function evaluation of the highest high consistency ,consistency .No significant differences between the two groups of repetitive Kappa coefficient(statistical values =0.674 5,P>0.05).According to the TLICS system of statistical accuracy ,the diagnostic sensitivity,specificity ratios was 95.8%,86.4%,97.6%,respectively.Conclusion The reliability of TLICS system for thoracolumbar treatment and recovery is higher ,relative comprehensive evaluation ,which can effec-tively guide the clinical treatment .

Objective:To investigate the adjuvant effect of initial periodontal therapy by observing the eradiation rate of gastric helicobacter pylori( Hp) in the patients with gastric ulcer treated by the therapy. Methods:Totally 88 patients with stomach ulcer and chronic periodontitis were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated by triple therapy,the experimental group was treated by initial periodontal therapy additionally with the treatment course of one month. The changes of Hp in stomach and periodontium were observed and the eradiation rate of Hp was compared between the two groups respectively after 1-, 3-, 6-and 12-month treatment. Results:After 3, 6 and 12 months, the eradiation rate in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the other group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion: Initial periodontal therapy combined with triple therapy can obviously improve the eradication rate of gastric Hp in the patients with gastric ulcer and chronic periodontitis.

Objective To assess the operation time of laparoscopic operation for acute cholecystitis by Meta analysis.Methods The methods of computer literature retrieval and manual search were used to collect the research on the timing of laparoscopic surgery for acute cholecystitis in recent years,and the random effects model was used to conduct the Meta analyze.The quality of the literature was evaluated,and then the RevMan5.0.21 software was used to calculate the RR value and 95%CI of the operation time,bleeding volume and postoperative complications.Results A total of 13 articles were included in the Meta analysis,9 in Chinese,4 in English,2535 for a total number of cases,1401 in the early operation group,1134 in the delayed operation group,and 10 papers for low risk of bias,3 papers for bias risk.Meta analysis of the random effects model showed that the operation time of the early operation group was significantly shorter than that of the delayed operation group(P=0.00,RR=-20.25,95%CI=-24.97~15.33),and the intraoperative blood loss was also significantly reduced(P=0.00,RR=-12.58,95%CI=-29.36~5.78),then the postoperative complications were also significantly reduced(P=0.00,RR=0.63,95%CI=0.47~0.84).Conclusion The use of laparoscopic operation in the treatment of acute cholecystitis in patients with 72h could not only shorten the operation time and reduce the amount of bleeding,but also had a significant effect on reducing postoperative complications.
