2.Stem cell transplantation protects the kidney in diabetic rat models
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(28):4176-4181
BACKGROUND:So far numerous theoretical studies have shown the treatment effect of stem cel transplantation for chronic complications of diabetes, while its treatment effects on diabetic nephropathy have not yet been confirmed in animal models. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the protective effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation on the kidney in rat models of diabetes. METHODS:Rats were fed with high-sugar and high-fat diet for 4 weeks, and then were given injection of streptozotocin to establish type 2 diabetic rat models. At 2 days after modeling, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s were injected via the tail vein (stem cel transplantation group). In the meanwhile, control and diabetes groups were established. At 21 days after cel transplantation, levels of glucose, triglyceride and insulin in the tail vein were detected. Additional y, morphological observations of kidney and pancreatic tissues were performed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The levels of blood sugar, insulin and triglycerides in the diabetes group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Blood glucose and insulin levels in the stem cel transplantation group were significantly lower than those of the diabetes group (P<0.05). In addition, mesangial area and glomerular volume in the stem cel transplantation group were significantly lower compared with the diabetes group (P<0.05). These results confirm that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation can reduce levels of blood glucose and serum insulin, contributing to the repair of damaged pancreas and kidney.
3.Effect of fast track orthopedics on peri -operative rehabilitation of elderly femoral neck fracture
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(20):3143-3146
Objective To compare the efficacy of peri -operative rehabilitation between the fast track ortho-pedics(FTO)and non -FTO with elderly femoral neck fractures. Methods 34 patients with elderly femoral neck fractures in the Nanjing Gaochun Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine during June 2014 to March 2015 were col-lected.All patients were divided into FTO group(n =17)and non -FTO group(n =17)randomly,the FTO group was treated with FTO and the non -FTO group was under routine perioperative rehabilitation program.Comparison were performed between two groups on postoperative by Harris score, patient satisfaction, visual analogue score (VAS), length of stay (LOS) and postoperative complication. Results All the 34 patients were followed up for 8 -16 months,average(12.0 ±2.4)months.There was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups (P >0.05).The VAS score in the postoperative group FTO[(1.8 ±0.7)points]was significantly lower than that in the non FTO group[(2.6 ±0.9)points],and the difference was statistically significant (t =1.389,P <0.05).There was no significant difference in Harris scores between the two groups(P >0.05).The Harris score in the FTO group [(84.9 ±3.7)points]was significantly higher than that in the non -FTO group[(72.3 ±5.2)points],and the difference was statistically significant(t =3.243,P <0.05).Conclusion FTO can effectively promote the surgical treatment, reduce the pain, recovery of hip joint function and improve patient satisfaction in elderly femoral neck frac-tures.
4.Effect of different dosage of tamoxifen on the morphology of the mammary hyperplasia of rats
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(04):-
Objective:To study the effect of different dosage of tamoxifen (TAM) on the morphological change of experimental mammary hyperplasia. Methods:The animal model of mammary hyperplasia of Wistar rats was induced with estradiol and progesterone. One hundred and eighty female Wistar rats were selected randomly into group A (control group ) , group B (model control group), group C (166.7 ?g dosage of TAM),group D(333?g dosage of TAM) ,group E(500?g dosage of TAM),and group F(667?g dosage of TAM) and fed for 2 months.Samples of breasts were collected and observed under light microscope and electronmicroscope. Results:For light microscope observation :there were obvious difference between premedication and postmedication in group E and F, respectively ( P 0. 05), implying that 500 ?g dosage and 667 ?g dosage of TAM had obvious inhibitory effect on mammary hyperplasia under light microscope. Conclusion:Through light microscope and electronmicroscope observation,TAM especially 500?g and 667?g dosage proves to have obvious inhibitory effect on mammary hyperplasia induced by estradiol and progesterone.

Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
0.05),but at 72h,96h,120h after exposure, the absorbance values in carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum group were always significantly higher than those in control group at the same time(P0.05).Conclusions:The model established with a special airtight container and an automatic pneumoperitoneum meter is an ideal one for research about laparoscopy in vitro, and the carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum in this model increases the in vitro growth of human cervical carcinoma cells.
7.Effect of different pneumoperitoneums on the growth of human cervical carcinoma cells in vitro
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To evaluate the effects of different pneumoperitoneums used in laparoscopy on the growth of human cervical carcinoma cells in vitro. Methods:Human cervical carcinoma cell line(CaSki)were cultured in vitro and then exposed to pneumoperitoneums of pure carbon dioxide or pure nitrogen gas with the untreated group as control. The cell growth was determined by MTT assay, flow cytometry and electron microscopy. Results:Carbon dioxide stimulated the cell growth from 48h to 120h after treatment. For nitrogen gas group, there was a transient descent of cell proliferation from 48h to 72h after treatment. The tumor cells of carbon dioxide group in G2-M phases significantly increased. Active karyokinesis was observed in carbon dioxide group while slight mitochondrion swelling was observed in nitrogen gas group with the nucleus space expanded. Conclusions:Carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum could increase the growth of human cervical carcinoma cells in vitro whereas nitrogen gas pneumoperitoneum had inhibiting effect on the cell growth.
9.Clinical value of exhaled nitric oxide in childhood asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(3):244-249
Allergic asthma is a chronic obstructive disease of the airways characterized by airway hyperresponsiveness, inflammation and remodeling.Exhaled nitric oxide (eNO) level is highly correlated with eosinophilic airway inflammation.Since the advantage of noninvasion, convenience, and specificity of eNO measurement,it has been widely used as a biomarker. In this article eNO metabolism and its effects on airway physiology and pathophysiology are described. The usefulness of eNO in asthma diagnosis and management is discussed in detail.
10.Advances in the effects of Th17 cell and follicular helper T cells and their cytokines on common autoimmune diseases
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(2):183-186
In recent years, researches on many autoimmune diseases show that Th17 and follicular helper T cells(Tfh cells) induce the happening of many autoimmune diseases via IL-21,STAT3 or other cytokines and signaling pathway.IL-21,as the common cytokine of Th17 and Tfh cells, plays an important role on their differentiation and development and function playing. This paper reviews the role of Thl7 and Tfh cells as well as their cytokines in myasthenia gravis, systemic lupus erythematosus and inflammaotoy bowel disease.
