Evolutionary medicine can give rational explanation for metabolism diseases via ecology and evolutionary theory. Recently, the view of somatic cell macroevolution was used in the study on the genesis and development of tumors, which provided new insight in the research work on tumors. In this article, the well-adopted tumor therapy strategy, "Dancing with Cancer", was analyzed preliminarily from the point of co-evolution game theory, based on the non-classical immunology theory and genome theory. The importance of increasing host fitness by changing host life-style to enhance tolerance was emphasized, which is the basis of the Dancing with Cancer strategy. On the other hand, the spreading tumor cells are not equally malignant and spreading tumors should be treated as other chronic diseases. Finally, basic and clinical research should be strengthened to improve the efficiency of the "Dancing with Cancer" strategy.

2.Neuroeconomics and Psychiatry : Application of Quantitative Methodology.
Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association 2013;52(5):301-310
Neuroeconomics is an interdisciplinary field that seeks to explain human decision making using a combination of research methods from neuroscience, (behavioral) economics, and cognitive and social psychology. With recent advances in functional neuroimaging and computing power, neuroeconomics suggests the possibility of examining psychopathology using a quantitative model based on objective metrics. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the theory of neuroeconomics and to review the literature on its application to psychiatric research. First, the concept of utility function in economic decision theory can be used to explain depressive symptoms with regard to lack of interest in money. Second, differences in attitudes toward uncertainty and risk suggest that avolition and anhedonia can be expected to reduce the influence of uncertainty on decision making. Third, some parametrically varied values of delay discounting show the relation of discounted value to risk of addiction. Finally, economic game theory can provide a model including social factors to address psychiatric conditions ; thus, it provides a useful framework for the current diagnostic classification systems for consideration of interpersonal factors. We expect that conduct of more interdisciplinary research in neuroeconomics and psychiatry will clarify diagnosis and contribute to the description of psychiatric disorders.

Game theory is an important component of complex system theory, specially used in describing bilateral or multiple cooperation and confrontation. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescription doctrines cover multiple connotation of game theory. Firstly multi-components of Siwu decoction were analyzed by using fuzzy set to get the membership functions. Then the revenue function was contructed and build the Siwu decoction's multi-player game model was built. Lastly the three kinds of different combinations Siwu decoction efficacy were analyzed by using the model to get the best compositions.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2013;29(1):85-91
Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is an ubiquitous pathogen that infects a majority of the world's population. The virus can establish lifelong infection once the human body is infected by HCMV and virus can be reactivated from a latent state in immune suppressed individuals. HCMV has developed several strategies to evade host immune surveillance after millions of years of co-evolution with mankind. One of the classical tricks is encoding homologous to human immune factors or stealing host cellular genes that have significant functions in immune system. Virus encoded immune modulators which participate in regulating the major histocompatibility complex, cellular immunity, humoral immunity, cytokines and chemokines are supposed to play a significant role in the pathogenesis of HCMV. Evaluation of "mutually assured survival" relationship between virus and host provides important insights into viral immunopathogenesis and study of viral immunomodulatory proteins might help us to uncover new human genes that control immunity.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2007;24(3):522-525
To describe the fractal feature of CGR (Chaos-game representation) graph of genomes sequences, a multifractal theory is presented in the analysis. By studying the effect of three probability sets on the scale invariance range, the probability set with the best scale invariance is chosen, and then the smooth general dimension spectrum and multifractal spectrum are calculated. The experimental result shows that the probability set composed of the relative probability has the best scale-invariance performance. The scale invariance has three different variance regions, which indicate that genomes sequence segments with different lengths have different distribution rules. It is concluded that the multifractal method is effective for describing the fractal feature of CGR graph of genomes sequences.
