Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2004;2(3):24-25
Selected mainly were acupoints in the adjacent areas and along the meridians, assisted by ashi points. Fengmen (BL 12), Geshu (BL 17) and Xuehai (SP 10) were selected for migratory arthralgia;Shenshu (BL 23) and Guanyuan (CV 4) for cold-aggravated arthralgia; Pishu (BL 20), Zusanli (ST 36)and Yinlingquan (SP 9) for damp arthralgia; Dazhui (GV 14) and Quchi (LI 11) for heat-induced arthralgia. Acupuncture in combination with far infra-red radiation was performed.76 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were treated and 74 cases with herb therapy as control. The result showed that there was statistically significant difference in curative effect between the 2 groups, χ 2=10.18, P< 0.01, indicating that the curative effect was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group. Statistics showed that there was no significant difference in curative effect among the 4 syndromic types, namely migratory arthralgia, cold-aggravated arthralgia, damp-induced arthralgia and heat-induced arthralgia. But there was a statistically significant difference in curative effect between the above 4 syndromic types and deficiency-type arthralgia, indicating that the curative effect in deficiency-type arthralgia was worst.
2.Observations on the Efficacy of Acupuncture plus Tuina Therapy in Treating Supraspinatus Tendinitis
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2009;7(2):94-97
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy ofacupuncture plus Tuina therapy in treating supraspinatus tendinitis. Methods:One hundred patients with supraspinatus tendinitis were randomly allocated to two groups. The treatment group of 50 cases was treated with acupuncture plus Tuina therapy and the control group of 50 cases, with simple acupuncture.Treatment was given once daily,10 times as a course. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after two courses oftreatment. Results:The total efficacy rate was 96.0%in the treatment group and 74.0%in the control group.x2 test showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the total efficacy rate between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture plus Tuina therapy is superior to simple acupuncture in treating supraspinatus tendinitis.
3.MiR-26b regulates invasion and migration of lung cancer cells through targeting hENTI depending on RhoA/ROCK-I pathway
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2017;42(7):755-761
Objective:To investigate the effect of miR-26b on the invasion and migration of lung cancer cell and to explore its mechanism. Methods:qPCR was used to detect the expression of miR-26b in lung cancer.Luciferase reporter gene was used to detect interaction between miR-26b and hENT1.Transwell assay was used to detect invasion ability after treatment of miR-26b mimics.Scratch assay was used to detect migration ability after treatment of miR-26b mimics. The expressions of hENT1,ROCK-I and RhoA were detected by Western blot. The changes of cytoskeleton after miR-26b mimics treatment with phalloidin were observed. The effect of miR-26b mimics on the tumor size and volume of lung cancer was determined by subcutaneous tumor formation in nude mice.Results:MiR-26b expression was significantly reduced in lung cancer. With the progress of lung cancer, the expression of miR-26b was reduced. With the progress in differentiation of lung cancer, the expression of miR-26b was decreased.Decrease of miR-26b was associated with lung cancer lymph node metastasis.HENT1 was the direct target of miR-26b;miR-26b regulated the invasion and migration ability of human lung carcinoma A549 cells.MiR-26b regulated the expression of hENT1,ROCK-1 and RhoA.After the treatment with miR-26b mimics, the F-actin staining was significantly reduced, whereas the formation of wrinkles and the formation of pseudopodia were significantly reduced.Subcutaneous tumor formation in nude mice showed that miR-26b mimics treatment significantly reduced the tumor size and mass.Conclusion:MiR-26b plays a role in tumor suppression in lung cancer.miR-26b can regulate the invasion and migration ability of lung carcinoma A549 cells by targeting hENT1 depending on the RhoA/ROCK-1 pathway.
4.Prevention and management of hemorrhage during laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(6):727-728
ObjectiveTo investigate the prevention and management of the hemorrhage during laparoscopic cholecystectomy( LC), and improve success ratio. MethodsThe medical data of 420 cases with LC from May 2003 to 2009, September were analyzed retrospectively, including total number, hemorrhage site and ways of prevention and management. Results417 cases experienced successful C,with success ratio 99.3%. 49 cases ( 11.7% ) had hemorrhage, and in 46 cases(93. 9% ), it was stopped by laparoscope or hemostasis by compression,3 cases were rescued by operation. All hemorrhage sites included 15 cases(30. 6% ) in triangle de Calot,26 cases(53. 1% ) in gallbladder bed, and 8 cases ( 16.3% ) in incision. ConclusionA reliable opetration and appropriate hemostasis are critical of the successful operation and prevention of complications after LC.
5.Recent application of minimally invasive robotic cardiac surgery
International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(12):825-828
The minimally invasive approach is the direction of cardiac surgery. With the development of telemanipulation and computer technology, the minimally robotic surgery has become reality. As the one of the most minimally invasive cardiac surgery, the robotic surgical system provides cardiac surgeons with less invasive manner and dexterity manipulation.Robotic cardiac surgery is an evolutionary process and has resulted in a substantial increased attention to surgeons and patients. This review is to introduce the recent clinical application of robotic technology in cardiac surgery.
6.Research progress in the surgical treatment of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(9):487-490
Thyroid cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the human endocrine system. A papillary thyroid microcarci-noma (PTMC) is usually defined as a papillary thyroid tumor that is less than 10 mm in diameter. The incidence of thyroid cancers has obviously increased in recent years. The surgical treatment of PTMC differs in China and overseas. Aside from conventional surgery, novel surgical methods, such as ultrasound-guided percutaneous ablation, have been used for the surgical treatment of PTMC. This arti-cle mainly discusses the research progress in the surgical treatment of PTMC.
7.Increased expression of Hes1 and its effect on tumour-formation ability in colon cancer
China Oncology 2014;(9):646-651
tumours was found to be slightly faster than those of the controls.Conclusion:Hes1 is overexpressed in colon cancer than that in normal tissue, and Hes1 is upregulated in poorly differentiated cancer samples compared with well-differentiated tumour samples. Hes1 has a positive inlfuence on the ability of tumour-formation in SW620 cellsin vivo.

9.Antibiotic Use in 2004
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(02):-
OBJECTIVE To survey antibiotic use and its rationality in clinical settings. METHODS Randomly selected medical records of 500 patients from Oct to Dec of 2004 were reviewed for retrospective studies.Analysis with regard to drug category combination purpose, therapeatic course, indications and resistance was conducted. RESULTS The incidence of antibiotic use was 98%,31% of which was intended for active treatment, and 69% for preventive regimen;65% of the cases in internal medicine were for active treatment, and 34% for preventive regimen,45% of the cases in surgical use were for active treatment, and 54% were for preventive purposes. The total number of antibiotic use was 539 case-times.In terms of preventive use, single drug comprised 57%,bi-drug therapy 19%,before operations 19%,and local use was 5%.As for active treatment single drug consisted of 49%,two-drugs 27%,three-drugs 7%,and four-drugs 1%,local use accounted for 16%.Fifty five cases of the therapeutic use of antibiotics were reviewed, taking up 28% of the total with 19 positive cases, whose positive rate accounted for 35%. CONCLUSIONS The administration of the reasonable use of antibiotics is a systematic project.
10.Progress in treatment of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD),a common inherited disease,is characterized by massive enlargement of fluid-filled renal cysts.Progressively enlarging cysts compromise normal renal parenchyma, reduce renal function and lead to renal failure.Up to now,the treatment options for ADPKD have been limited to renal replacement therapy by dialysis or by transplantation for patients with end-stage renal failure.Inhibition of cyst fluid secretion, suppression of cyst epithelial cell growth and prevention of renal failure are new approaches to treat PKD.
