1.Autologous stem cell transplantation in multiple myeloma patients with renal failure
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2010;19(7):441-443
Renal failure is a common clinical feature in multiple myeloma (MM). The overall remission rate is 35 %-50% (complete remission is rare) in MM patients with renal failure treated by conventional chemotherapy. Many centers use high dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) for the treatment of MM patients with renal failure. The current study showed that the severity of renal function damage and dialysis had no impact on stem cell mobilization and implantation. High dose melphalan and ASCT could increase the rates of complete remission, event free survival and overall survival to 30 %, about 20 and 40 months longer, respectively and some patients discontinued dialysis. However there are many problems in this area, such as a higher treatment related mortality leaded by APBSCT. In addition, the role of new agents, such as thalidomide, bortezomib and lenalidomide, require evaluation in MM patient with renal failure.

6.Study on the evaluation of different levels of QRS-T angle in patients with acute myocardial infarction
Journal of Chinese Physician 2017;19(8):1168-1171
Objective To investigate the evaluation of different levels of QRS-T angle in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).Methods A total of 186 AMI patients from January 2010 to May 2016 in our hospital as the research object. The review method was used to analyze the clinical and followup data of the patients. The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),plane QRS-T angle, white blood cell (WBC) and isoenzyme count and creatine (CK-MB) were evaluated and compared. Results (1) The age of the patients with heart failure was larger than that in the patients with normal heart function, and the proportion of myocardial infarction and hypertension and diabetes distributionthe in two groups had statistically significant difference (P < 0.05);(2) The WBC and CK-MB levels of patients with normal cardiac function were lower than those in patients with heart failure. The planar QRS-T angle < 50 degrees, between 90 degrees and 100 degrees and more than 100 degrees were statistically significant between normal heart function patients and failure heart function patients (P < 0.05),and with the decrease of LVEF the levels of QRS-T angle increased;(3) The sensitivity and specificity of 90 degrees ≤ QRS-T angle < 100 degrees and QRS-T angle greater than 100 degrees were 96.32% and 95.98%,95.02% and 94.68%,and those were different with the sensitivity and specificity of WBC,CK-MB and other QRS-T angle(P < 0.05).Conclusions Different planar QRS-T angle on the evaluation of cardiac function insufficiency has certain clinical value, but when the 90°≤ QRS-T angle < 100° and QRS-T angle ≥ 100° have better sensitivity and specificity with no difference between two QRS-T angles. The QRS-T angle≥ 90° can be used as one of the indicators for the evaluation of cardiac function insuffieiency.

ObjectiveTo investigate the risk factors related with the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction after intravenous thrombolysis by alteplase in 90 days.MethodsForty patients with acute cerebral infarction treated by intravenous thrombolysis with aheplase were selected and assigned into good outcome group [modified Rankin scale (mRS) 0-1 score] and poor outcome group (mRS 2-6 scores) according to mRS at 90 days. The risk factors were compared between two groups.ResultsPoor outcome group(22 cases) comparing with good outcome group (18 cases),the values of age[ (64.64±11.30) years vs.(58.94±10.47) years ],onset to therapy time(OTT) [(376.73±316.32)min vs.( 176.00±59.74) min],National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) score before thrombolysis [ ( 16.73±8.46)scores vs. (11.22±5.20) scores],maximum of systolic blood pressure (SBPmax) in the first 24 hours after thrombolysis[ ( 186.59±24.79 )mm Hg ( 1 mm Hg =0.133 kPa) vs.( 169.00±23.04) mm Hg] and systolic blood pressure variability (SBPV)[(17.11±3.90) mm Hg vs.(13.33±4.97) mm Hg] had significant differences (P< 0.05).ConclusionThe values ofage,OTT,NIHSS score before thrombolysis,SBPmax and SBPV in the first 24 hours after thrombolysis are related with the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction after intravenous thrombolysis by altcplase in 90 days.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(21):4165-4168
Phellinus is a kind of rare medicinal fungus that has a variety of physiological activities include anti-cancer, anti-liver fibrosisa, antioxidant and so on. Phellinus contains polysaccharides, steroids, terpenoids, flavonoids, pyrone, furan, alkaloids and other substances. Polysaccharide extracts of phellinus showed obvious antitumor effect and has been a hot research field in recent years. It was also found other extracts of phellinus such as ethyl acetate extract exhibited anticancer activity. Thus, the antitumor effect of different extract, especially the anti-cancer mechanism were discussed in this review.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2014;30(6):502-505
As human beings ascend to high altitude, a number of reactions may occur against hypoxic injuries. These hypoxic responses are related to intake, transportation and utility of the oxygen. As a crucial subcellular organelle of oxygen utility, mitochondrion is a central link of high altitude acclimatization, adaptation and mountain sicknesses. In this review, we discussed the recent advances in researches on hypoxic mitochondrial responses at high altitude.
