[Objectives]To probe into the nursing effects of comprehensive psychological nursing intervention for modified radical mastectomy in breast cancer patients. [Methods]160 breast cancer patients were randomly divided into Group A, control group B, experimental group(n=80). Group A was conventional y nursed as required, while to Group B, a supplement of comprehensive psychological nursing intervention was added, which concerned with pre-surgery cognition, emotion and attitude. [Results] Group B showed a notable improvement in their anxiety state after the nursing intervention, compared with Group A(P<0.05). In addition, the rate of satisfaction was far increased, and the average number of hospitalizing days was sharply decreased compared with Group A(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Comprehensive psychological nursing intervention for modified radical mastectomy in breast cancer patients can ease the pre-surgery anxiety, decrease the average number of hospitalizing days and increase the rate of hospitalizing satisfaction. It is proved to be an effective nursing intervention.

Idiopathic rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder is recognized as a prodromal stage of α-synucleinopathies such as Parkinson′s disease, Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy. It is important to timely identify early predictors that can predict early conversion into α-synucleinopathies. This review provided an update on classic and novel early predictors of α-synucleinopathies in patients with idiopathic REM sleep behavior disorder and provided a comprehensive understanding on the phenotypic transformation of the disease.

Objective To investigate inhibitory effect of Telmisartan on carotid arterial intima-media thickness in patients with essential hypertension. Methods 104 patients with mild or mid essential hypertension were randomly divided into three groups, which include telmisartan group( telmisartan 80 mg/d PO), ramipril group( ramipril 5 mg/d PO), and control group( other anti-hypertension agents). Blood pressure was monitored during treatment. Carotid arterial intima-media thickness(CIMT) were measured in all patients at beginning and patients who had the 12 months course. Results There were 91 patients who had the 12 months course, which include telmisartan group33 cases, ramipril group28 cases, and control 30 cases. The CIMT was significantly decreased in telmisartan group and ramipril group ( all P < 0. 05 ), and not changed in control while blood pressure fall effectively. In ramipril, group5 cases were ceased the course because of severe cough. Conclusion Both telmisartan and ramipril could decrease blood pressure and CIMT effectively, and there were less side effects in telmisartan group.
