ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus neuromuscular electrical stimulation in treating motor aphasia after ischemic stroke.MethodSeventy-five patients were randomized into a control group of 38 cases and a treatment group of 37 cases. The two groups both received basic treatment. Besides, the control group was given acupuncture treatment; the treatment group was given acupuncture plus neuromuscular electrical stimulation. The acupuncture treatment and neuromuscular electrical stimulation were given once a day, 10 d as a treatment course, totally for 2 successive courses. The Aphasia Battery of Chinese (ABC) was observed before and after treatment to evaluate the speech function.ResultThe total effective rate was 81.6%in the control group versus 89.2% in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The Communication Activities of Daily Living (CADL-T) scores were significantly increased after intervention in both groups (P<0.01), and the CADL-T score of the treatment group was significantly higherthan that of the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture is effective in improving the speech dysfunction and the quality of life in patients after ischemic stroke, and it can produce a higher therapeutic efficacy when combined with neuromuscularelectrical stimulation.

Objective To investigate the effect of solution-focused therapy on the care burden and negative emotions of the primary caregivers with elderly patients with hip fractures. Methods One hundred and sixty-eight elderly patients with hip fractures and caregivers were divided into intervention group and control group with 84 pairs by random digits table method, and the two groups were given continual nursing care. At the same time, the primary caregivers of intervention group accepted the solution-focused therapy. Caregiver Burden Inventory (CBI), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used as the evaluation indexes. Results Before intervention, the score of CBI, SAS,SDS was (42.07 ± 4.24), (50.75 ± 11.21), (51.59 ± 13.18) points in control group and (42.10 ± 3.96), (50.48 ± 12.59), (52.96 ± 13.51) points in intervention group, and there was no significant differences between two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the score of CBI, SAS, SDS was (40.49±3.17), (50.64±11.33), (50.14±10.25) points in control group and (28.95±2.87), (36.73±9.45), (41.60±8.23) points in intervention group, and there was significant differences between two groups (t=5.42, 8.73, 7.45, all P<0.05). Conclusions Solution-focused therapy can effectively reduce the care burden of the primary caregivers of elderly patients with hip fractures and alleviate their anxiety and depression.

Three kinds of biomedical materials of stomatology were introduced,including metal materials,polymers and non-metal bio composites.The literatures related to stomatology biomedical materials from 2008 to 2015 were collected in PubMed medical literature retrieval service system,and then statistical method was used to analyze the literature number,the numbers of literatures on different materials as well as the nations distribution.Composite,intelligent and functional materials were pointed out to be taking the place of metal materials,and thus might extend their clinical application in the future.

Objective To investigate the effect of folic acid on plasma homocysteine(Hcy) levels and major cardiovascular events in elderly patients with H hypertension.Methods 200 elderly patients with H hypertension were randomly divided into the observation group and control group with 100 cases in each group according to the digital list methods,the control group was given health education and routine anti-hypertensive drug for treatment while the observation group was given folic acid on basis of the conventional treatment,the Hcy levels after 3 months of treatment and incidence of major cardiovascular events among 3 years of the two groups were compared.Results (1) The level of plasma Hcy in the observation group decreased significantly after treatment,with statistically significant difference when compared with before treatment (t =12.32,P ＜ 0.05),that in the control group had no obvious change after treatment than before treatment,there was statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment(t =11.45,P ＞ 0.05);(2) The occurrence of cardiovascular events among 3 year after treatment of the observation group was 6 cases,the incidence rate was 6％,the control group occurred 15 cases,the incidence rate was 15％,the difference in the incidence of the two groups was statistically significant(x2 =8.24,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Folic acid intervention can reduce the plasma Hcy levels in elderly patients with H hypertension and control the occurrence of cardiovascular events.

Objectives To investigate the markers of endothelial injury, adipocytokine and thrombotic activity and explore whether there are cardiovascular disease risk factors in antiretroviral-naive HIV patients. Methods Clinical data and venous blood samples were collected from 43 anti-retroviral naive HIV-infected patients during February -October 2009 in our center, and compared with 17 healthy subjects.Plasma leptin, adiponectin, soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 ( sICAM-1 ), D-dimer were measured by ELISA. Four markers and cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting plasma glucose were compared between the two groups. The CD4+ T cells and percentages of CD38, HLA-DR on CD8+ T were determined by flow cytometry and plasma HIV copies were detected with bDNA analyzer among HIV-infected participants.Spearman correlations between the significant markers and CD4+ T cells, CD8+ CD38+/CD8+, CD8+ HLA-DR +/CD8+, HIV viral load were examined among HIV-infected participants. Analyses were conducted by using Stata version 7. Results Thirty-eight of the 43 patients were sexually infected by HIV and the median absolute CD4+ T cell count was ( 133 ± 82 ) cells/μl, HIV RNA was (4. 42 ± 0. 66 ) lg copies/ml. HIV-infected patients, compared with healthy subjects, had lower leptin [11.41 (7.91,14. 53 )μg/L vs 55.31( 16. 49,229.65 ) μg/L, P= 0. 0005], adiponectin [1.79 ( 1.40,4. 00 ) mg/L vs 3.36 ( 2. 92,4. 18 ) mg/L,P =0. 003] and higher sICAM-1 [1.71 (1.11,2.40) mg/L vs 0. 69 ( 0. 57, 0. 80 ) mg/L, P = 0. 0000].No significant differences exist in cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting plasma glucose. For HIV-infected participants, sICAM-1 tended to correlate with CD8+ CD38+/CD8+ and HIV viral load ( r= 0.3378, P= 0.0267;r = 0.3904,P = 0.0096). Conclusion Patients with untreated HIV infection have lower leptin, adiponectin and higher sICAM-1 levels and the relationship of these markers to HIV-mediated atherosclerotic risk requires further study.

Objective To study the radiation injury of rat C6 glioma cell line by high resolution,1 H-nuclear magnetic resonance (1 H NMR) spectroscopy,and to preliminarily investigate its mechanism.Methods Metabolite concentrations in C6 cells were determined by 1 H NMR spectroscopy.Comet assay was used to evaluate DNA damage.Flow cytometry was used to determine the cell cycle and apoptosis rate.Colony-forming assay was used to measure the colony-forming rate and preliminarily investigate the mechanism of radiation injury.The resuhs were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation analysis.Results With the increase in radiation dose from 0 Gy to 1,5,10,and 15 Gy,DNA damage was enhanced in a dose-dependent manner (P=0.000-0.690);the percentage of cells in G1 phase increased (P =0.026-0.749);the apoptosis rate significantly increased (all P =0.000);the colony-forming rate significantly declined (P =0.000-0.004);the Lac/Cr ratio significantly decreased (P =0.000-0.015),which had a negative linear correlation with DNA damage parameters (tail length,r=-0.971;％DNA in the tail,r =-0.998;tail moment,r =-0.995) and apoptosis rate (r =0.978).Conclusions 1 H NMR spectroscopy reveals that the change in the Lac/Cr ratio is associated with injury and apoptosis of C6 cells after radiation.1 H NMR spectroscopy has the potential to predict radiation injury of glioma.

Objective To explore the risk factors and optional treatment strategies for postoperative hypoxemia in patients undergoing acute Stanford A aortic dissection surgery.Methods From December 2012 to April 2014,108 patients received acute Stanford A aortic dissection surgery in Henan Provincial People' s Hospital.Of them,74 men vs.34 women,age (43.2 ± 10.1) years old,and weight (71.3 ± 18.4) kg.The operation was performed within 14 days since disease onset.All patients received surgery under deep hypothermic circulatory arrest(DHCA) and the nasal temperature goal was below 20 ℃ .Postoperative hypoxemia was defined as the arterial partial oxygen over inspired oxygen fraction(PaO2/FiO2) more than 200 after admission to ICU.Pulmonary protective ventilation management took place immediately after hypoxemia was diagnosed.Comparison analysis was performed between hypoxemia group and non-hypoxemia group in age,gender,body mass index (BMI),smoking history,duration of cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB),duration of DHCA,blood transfusion,length of mechanical ventilation,length of ICU stay and mortality.Results The incidence of postoperative hypoxemia was 40.7％ (44/108).There were no statistical differences in age,gender,hypertension,diabetes mellitus or COPD history.In the hypoxemia group,11 cases developed pulmonary infection,3 cases underwent tracheotomy and 10 cases died.In the non-hypoxemia group,4 patients died.Postoperative hypoxemia was significantly associated with more mortality,length of ventilation time,length of ICU stay and in hospital(P ＞ 0.05).Univariate analysis showed the associated factors were BMI,smoking history,preoperative hypoxemia,LVEF ＜ 0.45,operation time,aorta clamping time,DHCA time and blood transfusion.Multivariate analysis showed the independent predictive factors were preoperative hypoxemia,DHCA ＞40 min,blood transfusion ＞ 10 U and BMI ＞25 kg/ m2.Conclusion Obesity,massive blood transfusion,long DHCA time and preoperative hypoxemia are independent risk factors of postoperative hypoxemia in patients undergoing acute Stanford A aortic dissection surgery.Perioperative pulmonary protection should be paid more attention and reinforced.

Objective To analyze the nutritional status of patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and explore reasonable and effective nursing measures.Methods Nutritional assessment was performed in 60 patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis,using subjective integrated nutritional assessment,dietary analysis,measurement of biochemical indexes of the human body to analyze the factors that might affect the nutritional status of patients.Results 60 cases of malnutrition occurrd in 20 patients (33.3per cent),mainly due to insufficient protein and energy intake,inadequate dialysis,peritoneal inflammation,metabolic acidosis,psychosocial factors and not using erythropoietin,and so on.Conclusions Measures such as emphasis paid to malnutrition status of continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis patients,giving guidance of rational diet,performing full implementation of nursing measures according to the related factors,can improve the nutritional status of patients and improve patients' quality of life.

Objective: To understand the current situation of intimate partner violence (IPV) among young students in Chengdu and its relationship with emotion regulation self-efficacy,and to provide a reference for conducting the education on close relationship. Methods: Totally 1 041 young students with love experience in Chengdu were selected by by stratified cluster random sampling to explore potentional factors related to IPV. Results: The incidence of IPV perpetration among young students with love experience was as high as 69.6% and the incidence of IPV victimization was 62.2%. Young students had committed(65.4%) or been subjected(64.0%) to more than three intimate partner violence. 59.92% young students were both perpetrators and victims of IPV. Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that compared with young female students, young male students were not prone to commit violence in intimate relationships(OR=0.59), but may become victims of IPV(OR=1.91). More than half a year in love(OR=1.70), cohabitation(OR=2.47), bullying by peers (OR=1.54) and interference by parents (OR=1.63) were risk factors for IPV perpetration. Among them, more than half a year in love (OR=1.51) and cohabitants (OR=2.52) were positively associated with IPV victimization. The efficacy of managing negative emotions was a negatively associated with IPV perpetration (OR=0.96) and victimization(OR=0.97)(P<0.05). Conclusion The phenomenon of intimate partner violence among young students is more common, which is closely related to the rearing style of young students, peer relationship, love relationship and the ability to manage negative emotions, which should be paid attention to.

Objective To establish a kind of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) model that could express hCD4 and hCCR5 to study the field of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1).Methods Lentiviral vectors containing the genes of hCD4 and hCCR5 under the transcriptional control of cytomegalovirus promoter were designed.MSCs were transfected by the lentiviral vectors at optimum multiplicity of infection.Transduction efficiencies of hCD4 and hCCR5 in MSCs were analyzed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),Western blot,and immunofluorescence staining.Subsequently,the transfected human MSCs were infected with HIV-1,and the expression of HIVRNA in the MSCs was detected by RT-PCR.Results The MSCs model con-taining hCD4 and hCCR5 and supporting normal HIV-1 infection was constructed.qRT-PCR showed that MSCs upon infection with lentiviral vectors were highly expressed in hCD4 and CCR5 mRNA sequences(P＜0.01).Western blot detection showed the positive bands of 55.0 × 103 (hCD4) and 40.6 × 103 (hCCR5).The results of immunofluorescence staining revealed that hCD4 and CCR5 were expressed on the surface of MSCs.Such results were not found in cells infected with empty lentiviral vectors.And the susceptibility of the hCD4/CCR5 transgenic MSCs to the HIV-1 was further indicated by the detection of HIV-1 RNA in the culture supernatants and cell lysates(P＜0.05).Conclusion The MSCs model that could highly express hCD4 and hCCR5 was established to support normal HIV-1 infection,which can be used to investigate the development of new therapies and vaccines against HIV.
