International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(7):460-462
Objective To evaluate the statues of P-selectin and chang of D-dimer in vivo in patients with deep venous thrombosis(DVT)and to observe how to vary under interneving of medicines. Methods P-selectin and D-dimer of fourty patients and twenty normal subjects were fluo-rescencelabled with its corresponding monoclonal antibodies by flow cytometry(FCM)and immune method respectively. Results In the early stage,P-selectin and D-dimer of patients with DVT is higher than that in normals, and they significantly decreased in different time after patients were treated.Compared with patients who were used on-sodium ozagrel, patients used sodium ozagrel have different P-selectin(P<0.05),but D-dimer was similar(P>0.05)after fourteen days. One month later,P-selectin and D-dimer of DVT patients were lower. However, the positive rate of P-selectin of DVT was still higher than normal subjects. Conclusions The platelet has been actived in vivo in patients with DVT,so do fibrinolysis.Sodium ozagrel can decrease the action of platelet.P-selectin and D-dimmer may be used in diagnose.Post-discharge patients are still high-risk group and must be followed-up regularly.
2.Roles of periostin in cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(2):92-96
Periostin, a extracellular matrix protein structurally similar to fasciclin proteins, is expressed specifically in various tumor tissues and correlates with tumor progression and prognosis. Periostin prevents the apoptosis of tumor cells, promotes tumor growth and can induce angiogenic signaling cascades through αvβ3-FAK and Flk-1/KDR. It also contributes to epithelial-mesenchymal-transformation promoting tumor invasion and metastasis. Periostin maybe a potential therapeutic target of cancer treatment.
3.EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT OF L801 MYELOID LEUKEMIC MICE WITH LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT TUMOR SUPPRESSOR OF NEW BORN CALF LIVER ORIGIN
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
With techniques of biochemical isolation and pruification, a semi-purified preparation of new born calf liver (BLS) with the peculiarity of low molecular weight has been found to have tumor surppressor activity inhibiting selectively the growth of murine myeloid leukemic cell (L801). But its effect is less marked against normal bone marrow granulocyte / macrophage progenitors in in vitro liquid or agar culture. Mice after inoculation of L801 cells died within 15 days due to development of leukemia. After consecutive injections of BLS, 25% - 53.8% of treated mice survived. Furthermore, it has been found that the survival rate was raised from 50% to 66% when Cyclophosphamide was first injected in the dose of 300?g / kg body weight once, followed by the consecutive injections of BLS. NO pathological changes have been observed in the mice which survived longer than 100 days after inoculation of L801 leukemic cells.

Objective: To compare the effects of three fluoride-containing agents on the remineralization of deciduous teeth in vitro. Methods: 36 deciduous teeth were randomly divided into four groups with 9 in each. The teeth were fenestrated on the labial middle surface and the rest parts of the teeth were covered with red nail polish.Every exposed area was etched, rinsed and puffed. Then the exposed areas were treated with 100 g/L(NH 4) 2MoO 2F 4(group ①) , 380 g/L Ag(NH 3) 2F (group ②) and APF-LaCl 3(group ③) for 3 minutes respectively, those in group④ were treated with deionized H 2O as the controls. Then, the teeth were placed into a bottle containing 5 ml remineralization solutions. 4 days later, the concentration of Ca 2+ in the remineralization solutions was measured. Results: The Ca 2+ concentrations (mmol/L) in the remineralization solution of group ①,②,③ and ④ were 0.338 9?0.116 5,0.570 0?0.145 5,0.517 8?0.084 8 and 0.120 4?0.046 8 respectively (P0.05:②vs③). Conclusion: The results indicate that all of the three fluoride-containing agents can promote the remineralization of deciduous teeth in vitro, and that both APF-LaCl 3 and 380 g/L Ag(NH 3) 2F are more effective than 100 g/L(NH 4) 2, MoO 2 F 4.

Let-7 is one of the most widely studied in miRNAs at present. let-7 can inhibit cell proliferation, promote cell differentiation and apoptosis, etc. Reduced expression of let-7 in different human tumor tissues or cells is accompanied by the changes of its target genes expression, which suggests that let-7 is closely linked to cancer.

Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(02):-
Seven cases of benign bone tumors, a case of spinal fusion and. seven rases of un-united fractures of shafts of long bones, were treated with a.llogenir bone matrix gelatin (BMG) implants and were followed up for more than one year. All tumor cases were cured by osteo-induction from BMG, while only three of the seven fractures united. Two of the failures were reimplanted with BMG and failed again. Not a single case developed post-operative infection nor immunologic reaction. The BMG used was obtained from the same preparation, so that deterioration of its biological activity by endogenous protease was not likely. BMG small BMG cubes were used in tumor cases and slabs in fractures. The small cubes . were mixed with pieces of gel-foam and parked into the post-operative bony cavities while the slabs were arranged layer by layer at the fracture sites. This might be one of the reasons why the tumor rases had higher rate of cure Another reason was that non-unions needed prolonged, continuous and firm internal and external fixation post-operatively while the tumor cases needed not The amount of BMP calculated from BMG was not enough for early and solid osteogenesis. In the authors'opinion, with the use of new biomaterial, it should be followed by new method of application, but the principles of surgery should not be changed

BACKGROUND:Schwann cells transplantation can change the local micro-environment and help to repair the injured neural tissue, so getting a large number of highly purified and active Schwann cells is the key of the study. OBJECTIVE: To search for a simple and rapid method to extract and purify the Schwann cells.METHODS: Rats were divided randomly into two groups, namely, in vivo pre-degeneration of sciatic nerve resection group and untreated control group, with 20 rats in each group. Under sterile conditions, the rat sciatic nerves were cut off at post-operative 7 days, Schwann cells were extracted by using mixed enzyme digestion and tissue mass transplantation; through low enzyme digestion and twice inoculation to differential adhesion, Schwann cells were purified. Cell morphology was observed under phase contrast microscope and identified by mmunofluorescence staining; cell purity was calculated; MTT method assay was used to determine the capacity of cell proliferation.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: At 7 days of the culture, the experimental group showed the typical bipolar or bipolar Schwann cells, with connections between cells; in control group, cell processes were shorter and less associated with the surrounding cells. Following S-100 immunofluorescence staining, cells were positive for green expression.Cells proliferated rapidly in the experimental group and formed a swirling shape at 15 days, there were a relatively small number of fibroblasts, at the purity of 96.1%; in the control group, the cells proliferated slowly, with many fibroblasts at a low purity. MTT assay showed that primary cultured Schwann cell proliferated weakly in both groups; compared with the control group, the proliferation of subcultured Schwann cells in the experimental group was markedly increased (P < 0.05 or 0.01), and reached a peak 3 4 days later. The results confirmed that in vivo denaturing, in vitro hybrid enzyme digestion, tissue mass transplantation combined with low enzyme digestion, separation of double-differential adhesion of Schwann cells is a simple and rapid method to extract and purify Schwann cells.
