Objective To compare the clinical effects of treating cervical prolapse of intervertebral disc by using Solis cage, titanium cage and autogenous iliac crest graft (AICG) combined with titanium plate. Methods 64 cases of cervical prolapse of intervertebral disc were analyzed retrospectively. All the patients were followed up for about one year. Group A is composed of 20 patients (30 intervertebral spaces) treated with microdiscectomy and Solis cage fusion;group B is composed of 21 patients(22 intervertebral spaces) treated with titanium cage and group C is involved of 23patients(28 intervertebral spaces) which were dealt with AICG combined with titanium plate. The differences in the to-tal X ray exposure time, time working on iliac bone, incidence of complications, fusion rate, incidence of JOA score recovery rate more than 50 % and rehabilitation time of the three groups are analyzed. Results All indexes from group A and B were more satisfactory than those from group C (P<0. 05). The statistic analysis results of the incidence of complications of cervical part, rehabilitation time in group A are 5.0± 1.8, 5.1 ± 1.2; and that is 14.3±2.6, 7.5 ± 1.6and 26.1±6.2, 8.6±2.3 in group B and group C respectively. There is significant difference between group A and group B on the incidence of complications of cervical part and rehabilitation time (P<0.05). Results of the incidence of JOA score recovery rate > 50 % in group A(95.8 ± 3.2) was more satisfactory than that in group B(93.6 ± 2.9),while there was no statistical difference between group A and group B (P>0.05). Conclusion The Solis cage is better in treating the cervical prolapse of intervertebral disc than other ways. Also, it makes the operation easier, rehabilitation time shorter, and it causes fewer complications.

To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of human infection with avian influenza A(H7N9) virus from 2013 to 2016 in Xiaoshan,China,we collected the epidemiological data of human A(H7N9) cases as well as the results of environmental monitoring and analyzed it by case study, descriptive epidemiological method, and statistical analysis. Results showed that a total of 22 cases were confirmed, including 12 deaths. All the cases occurred in winter and spring, and most of them had been exposed to live poultry, and with the underlying condition of chronic diseases.Chi-square test showed that the ratio of cases with chronic diseases in death group was higher (P=0.01).The environmental monitoring result showed there were distinctive seasonal differences of positive rate with peaks in winter and spring and nadirs in autumn and summer.Positive rates for the samples from external environmental monitoring were consistent with the distribution of the case onset.Due to rise of environmental monitoring positive rate,we should be alert to the occurrence of new cases, especially in rural areas where live poultry fairs still exist and among people with occupational exposure. We should further improve ability to prevent and control this disease.

Objective To investigate the correlation between three gene locus polymorphisms of X-ray repair cross-complementary protein 1 (XRCC1) exon (Arg194Trp, Arg280His and Arg399Gln) and the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods A case-control study was performed in 250 CRC patients (case group, 128 colon cancer patients and 122 rectal cancer patients) and 213 healthy individuals (control group). The three gene locus polymorphism of XRCC1 was tested by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method. The genotype distribution and allele frequency of each locus was analyzed with SPSS 10.0 software. Results There was no significant difference in allele frequency of XRCC1 at 194 and 399 loci (P > 0.05). However, the 280 Arg/His allele frequency of XRCC1 was higher in case group than that in control group (OR=1.66,95%CI:1.01~2.73,P=0.047). The 280Arg/His allele frequency was higher in rectal cancer group than that in control group (OR =1.82,95%CI:1.02~3.27). The frequency of 280His allele (Arg280His and His280His) was higher in case group than that in control group (OR=1.85,95%CI:1.06~3.22). However, it was a relative low risk factor of colon cancer and there was no significant difference between colon cancer group and control group (OR=1.85, 95%CI:1.06~3.22). Conclusions There was no correlation between XRCC1 Arg194Trp and Arg399Gln polymorpohisms and the risk of CRC. However, 280Arg/His genotype may increase the risk of CRC, and 280His allele is a risk factor of rectal cancer.
