Objective: To evaluate the clinical characteristics of Chinese patients with distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN). Methods: The clinical data on patients with dHMN collected from literatures published in China and from the patients treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The male to female ratio of patients was 1.32 : 1. The age of onset was from 13 to 60 years old, with a mean of (38.2±10.4) years old. The incidences of onset from the lower limbs, the upper limbs, and the four limbs were 84.7% 5.6%, and 9.7%, respectively. The incidences of decreased tendon reflexes, lost tendon reflexes in the upper limbs, decreased tendon reflexes and lost tendon reflexes in the upper limbs were 30.4% 65.3%, 13.0%, and 87.0%, respectively. The incidences of grade 3-4, grade 2, and grade 0-1 muscle strength of the upper limbs, grade 3-4, grade 2, and grade 0-1 muscle strength of the lower limbs were 55.4%, 37.5%, 7.1%, 50.0%, 37.5%, and 12.5%, respectively. No sensory disturbance was found in the patients. Electromyography (EMG) of 26 patients showed neurogenic damages; the motor and sensory nerve conduction velocities were all normal. Eight patients showed neurogenic amyotrophy in muscular biopsy. Conclusion: The onset of dHMN is mainly at middle-age and mainly in the lower limbs. The major manifestations include weakness and atrophy of distal limb muscles, decreased or lost tendon reflexes without sensory loss. Electrophysiology and pathology examinations play an important role in the diagnosis of dHMN.

Objective To investigate the impact of human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs) -plastelet-rich plasma(PRP) composite on the wound healing of radiation skin injury of nude mice.Methods ASCs were isolated from healthy adults after liposuction, conducted primary culture and subculture.PRP was prepared by two-step ultracentrifugation.The ASCs-PRP composite was prepared with ASCs (1 ×107cells/ml) at passage 6 and PRP.Twenty-four nude mice were randomly divided into 4 groups (n=6).A round shaped full-thickness skin defect (D=1cm) was made on the mice back after 20Gy (60Co) round shaped exposure (D=2cm).Right after radiation, wounds were treated as follows,in group A,there was ASCs+PRP, in group B, PRP,in group C, ASCs,in group D, sham group.The wounds were observed at postoperative 7 and 14 days.HE and CD31 stain were observed at 14th days after surgery.Results The wound healing of group A healed completely at 14th days.In group D,the wound healing were slowest and still filled with granulation tissue at 14th days.The wound healing of group B and group C were faster than that of group D, but they haven′t healed completely at 14th days.The inflammatory cells were significantly lower and the blood vessel density positive rate were significantly higher in ACSs+PRP group than in ACSs group,PRP group and sham group (P<0.05).Conclusion ASCs-PRP Composite can accelerate the wound healing of radiation skin injury by promoting wound angiogenesis.

Objective\ By inhibiting approach of apoptosis of T cells to observe if it could reduce the attacks of tumor cells upon lymphocytes and its possible role in tumor treatment. Methods\ The expressions of Fas/FasL genes in ovarian carcinoma cells were detected by using flow cytometry and RT\|PCR method.The construction of pcDNA3\|antisense Fas,the constructed vector was transfected into Jurkat cells with lipofectin,the change in expression of Fas gene was determined by flow cytometry.By means of Annexin\|V and MTT the effect of apoptosis in transduced Jurkat cells was investigated,and also using MTT cytotoxic test to investigate how 3AO cells kill Jurkat cells. Results\ Fas/FasL were expressed in 6 ovarian carcinomal cells.The expression level of Fas protein in Jurkat cells transduced with the constructed vector was decreased.Apoptosis was reduced in antisense Fas\|transfected Jurkat cells after anti\|Fas treatment. Conclusion\ FasL expression in ovarian carcinoma may be one of the reasons for ovarian carcinoma to escape immunosurveillance and attacking lymphocytes.Blocking Fas expression in lymphocytes can partially inhibit Jurkat cells apoptosis induced by anti\|Fas and reducing the attacks of tumor cells upon lymphocyte.\;

This is to report the study of degradation of earthworm extracts prepared by wet superfine grinding in simulated gastrointestinal environment. Enzymatic reactions were terminated by adjusting the solution pH or using membrane bioreactor principle. Earthworm protein concentration change was detected by Bradford method, the degraded state of protein was described with SDS-PAGE technology, and the degraded state of small molecule substances was detected by HPLC. The results showed that earthworm protein degraded completely in artificial gastric juice. High molecular weight protein degraded greatly in artificial intestinal fluid, while low molecular weight protein was not significantly degraded. Small molecular substances degradation did not degrade in artificial gastric juice, while they degraded obviously in artificial intestinal fluid, there is even new small molecule substance appeared. Finally it is concluded that the substance that having therapeutic effects in vivo may be some degraded peptide, amino acid and stable small molecules existed in artificial intestinal fluid.

Objective To investigate the expression of Rap1 GTPase-activating protein 1 (Rap1GAP),matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP-2) and matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9),and their relation with clinical patterns in colorectal carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of Rap1GAP,MMP-2 and MMP-9 in colorectal carcinoma,villous adenoma,tubular adenoma and normal colorectal tissue,and their relationship with clinicopathological parameters was analyzed.Results The positive rate of Rap1GAP expression was 30.4 ％ (14/46),77.8 ％ (14/18),69.6 ％ (16/23) and 95.2 ％ (20/21) in colorectal carcinoma,villous adenoma,tubular adenoma,and normal colorectal tissue,respectively (x2 =30.659,P=0.000).The figures were 71.7 ％ (33/46),55.6 ％ (10/18),52.2 ％ (12/16) and 9.5 ％ (2/21) for the positive rate of MMP-2 expression (x2 =22.459,P =0.000),as well as for 76.1％ (35/46),61.1％ (11/18),56.5 ％ (13/23) and 14.3 ％ (3/21) for the positive rate of MMP-9 expression,respectively (x2 =22.643,P =0.000).In patients with colorectal carcinoma,the expression of Rap1GAP was correlated with tumor differentiation (x2 =5.275,P =0.022),but not sex,age,or lymphatic metastasis (all P ＞ 0.05).The expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were correlated with lymphatic metastasis (x2 =6.661,P =0.010;x2 =8.475,P =0.040),but not sex,age or tumor differentiation(all P ＞ 0.05).There was a negative correlation between expression of Rap1GAP and MMP-2,MMP-9 in colorectal carcinoma,respectively (r =-0.424,P =0.003;r =-0.294,P =0.048),but no correlation between the expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 (r =0.101,P =0.505).Conclusions Rap1GAP,MMP-2 and MMP-9 play important roles in the malignant biological behavior of colorectal carcinoma,and the expression of Rap1GAP is negatively correlated with MMP-2 and MMP-9.The interactions among the three affect the occurrence and development of colorectal carcinoma.

Objective To study the effects of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1,25-(OH)2D3) on experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) and its immune-modulating mechanisms. Methods 1,25-(OH)2D3 were given to Lewis rats immunized with myelin basic protein (MBP) in complete Freud’s adjuvant (CFA) respectively on the same day of immunization (the prevented group) and the presenting day of symptoms (the treated group). Then clinical symptoms were scored until the 13th day after immunization, when rats were sacrificed. Mononuclear cells (MNC) in draining lymph nodes were collected for the following studies: (1)Total number of MNC in the lymph nodes were counted. (2) Numbers of CD~+4CD~+ 25 cells and CD~+ 86 cells were determinated by flow cytometry. (3) The concentrations of interferon(IFN)-? and interleukin(IL)-4 in cell culture supernatant were measured by enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA). OBJECTIVE:To compare the quality of domperidone tablets produced by 3 different factories METHODS:The quality of different products was investigated according to the standards of Ministry of Public Health and manufacture factories,including dissolubility,uniformity of dosage units,related substances and seals of blister packaging RESULTS:In 3 batches of products manufactured by Y,W and L,the contents of domperidone were 98 23%～99 74%,96 92%～98 31% and 97 42%～98 72%,and content uniformity A+1 8S was 2 11～3 38,3 97～5 25 and 5 49～7 47 respectively,which were in keeping with the Chinese pharmacopoeia;impurity R061668 was not found,and contents of impurity R052211 were 0 004%～0 024%,0 029%～0 072% and 0 003%～0 056%;the total impurity substances were 0 030%～0 095%,0 102%～0 128% and 0 232%～0 489%;the dissolubity(45min) was 95 09%～95 77%,91 25%～96 43% and 95 48%～96 58% respectively In experimental condition,no leakage was found from blister package of Y and W products,however,the leak rate of L product reached more than 38% CONCLUSION:According to this survey,the quality of product Y is the best,W is better
