Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(02):-
Recently, the progress in employing transplanting stem cells to cure injured retina is very fast and has been continuously yielding exciting results.Various sources are used in the studies, including retina-derived cells such as M?ller cells and ciliary body cells, and non-retina-derived cells such as embryonic stem cells and brain-derived stem cells. This review briefly discusses the recent progress of these studies.
4.Professor Yu Hai-bo's clinical experience in treating acute attack of hemorrhoids with acupuncture-moxibustion
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2018;16(1):28-32
Hemorrhoid refers to soft vein mass formed by varicosity of submucosal veins around the end of the rectum and subcutanceous veins of the anal canal. It is the most common anorectal disease. This article summarized the regular patterns, features and advantages of Professor Yu Hai-Bo's acupuncture-moxibustion therapy for hemorrhoids, in order to guide the acupuncture treatment for hemorrhoids.

Objective To study the efficacy of intravitreous injection (IVI) or sub-Tenaninfusion (STi) of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) for diabetic macular oedema. Design Retrospective cases series. Participants 37 cases (37 eyes) with diabetic macular oedema confirmed by fundus fluorescence angiography (FFA) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Methods Patients were received 4mg TA by single intravitreous injection or 40mg TA by three times sub-Tenoninfusion at 0d, 2w, 4w. The best corrected visual acuity, fundus examination, intraocular pressure, fundus fluorescence angiography were further analyzed, and the retinal thickness of macular fovea were measured by OCT. Main Outcome Measures The visual acuity, thickness of retinal macular fovea, ocular pressure was measured. Results 32 cases (32 eyes) completed the 24 week followed-up. In group IVI, the visual acuity before and after injection was 0.10±0. 03, 0.24±0.06(F=15.459, P=0.000) respectively; and retinal thickness of macular fovea is(460.73±46.33)μm,(394.53±41.43)μm (F=25. 282, P=0.0000) respectively. But in group STi, the visual acuity before and after injection is 0.11±0.04, 0.18±0.07(F=6.989, P=0.000) accordingly; and retinal thickness of maculur fovea is (454.76±56.28)μm,(424.94±42.69)μm (F=5.145, P=0.000) respectively. There was obvious statistical significance between two methods at same time point(all P<0.05). The serious, irreversible complications had not been found in all patients during follow-up. Conclusion Triamcinolone acetonide by single intravitreous injection or repeatedly sub-Tenoninfasion are good ways to relieve diabetic macular oederna, IVA-TA is more effective, and STi-TA safer. Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2015;36(5):143-145
The communication between the students and the teacher was introduced from three aspects of foregone course, communication channel as well as homework and experiment. The individualized teaching mode was described involving expounding common difficulty, assigning and reading over the homework, individualized tutoring after school, on-line responding to the student's question, prompting the student to complete programming and answering questions in evening classes. It's pointed out that the individualized teaching has to take both common knowledge and student difference into considerations. Individulized mode enhances the teaching efficacy greatly.

Through defining the connotation of division and cooperation among medical institutions, this paper introduces the current status for division and cooperation among medical institutions of Britain, Germany, Singapore and USA. The advantages include excellent general practices, optimal health resource allocation, effective first treat-ment in community health facilities, and effective two-way referral. We analyzed the influence of some new policies on the division and cooperation among medical institutions such as medical association, managed care and the General Practices’ service contract. This provided a lot of experience and revelations, including the dynamics to promote the division and cooperation, the separation of outpatient services and inpatient services, privatization of primary medical institutions, division and cooperation between medical institutions and nursing, rehabilitation institutions, distinguis-hing the division and cooperation from hospitals alliance, and division and cooperation among medical institutions can not resolve the all issues in the medical care supply system.

To explore the associations between the presence of bacteria and virus in the nasopharyngeal secretions, and wheezing, condition and hospitalization period in infants with community acquired pneumonia. Methods Clinical data, inclu-ding detection of bacteria and viruses, conditions and hospitalization period, of 1106 hospitalized infants with community ac-quired pneumonia from March 2009 to February 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. The infants were classiifed into wheezing (697 cases) and non-wheezing (409 cases) groups. Results Viruses were detected in 540 infants (48.8%), and the total detection rate of viruses and detection rate of respiratory syncytial virus in wheezing group were signiifcantly higher than those of non-wheezing group (P=0.000). Bacteria were detected in 590 cases (53.3%) and no signiifcance was found between two groups (P=0.821). The detection rate of Streptococcus pneumonia was higher in wheezing group than that of non-wheezing group (P=0.038). Comparing to the infants detected with both viruses and bacteria, no signiifcances were found in the occurrence of severe pneumonia and hos-pitalization period in those infants detected with viruses only (P>0.05), as well as in the wheezing time of period (P>0.05). Con-clusions Wheezing in infants with community acquired pneumonia is related to the infection of viruses, especially to respiratory syncytial viruses. Virus infection accompanying bacterial infection has no impact on duration of hospitalization and wheezing. The infection of Streptococcus pneumonia may relate to wheezing in infants.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
The effects of continuous subcutaneous insulin injection (CSII, n=306) and multiple subcutaneous insulin injection (MSII, n=310)on hyperglycemia in patients with diabetes mellitus were compared. The results suggest that the effect of CSII is more prompt and efficient with lower incidence of hypoglycemia as compared with MSII.
