1.A Comparison between Qualitative Research Method and Quantitative Research Method in Education Research
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
As two main research methods, qualitative study and quantitative study are different in theoretical basis, research methods, research goal, the relation between researchers and those who are studied as well as applied fields. They should be combined in education research, however, for education is a complicated humanism phenomenon.

Middle sized public hospitals are facing new challenges with the introduction of the new medical reform policies and the promotion of internet information economy. In order to adapt to the new social economy and policy, medium sized public hospitals should be reformed,be more active and find their own new position according to the new environment. The following work can be done to improve medium sized public hospitals' survival and development and to better meet the needs of the society:exploring their resources, building their regional medical associations, strengthening their construction of key disciplines, utilizing the advantages of internet and information system, and reforming their personnel divisions.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(08):-
Analysis was made in 3 patients with central nervous system lymphoma(CNSL) with different manifestations;neuroradiological and immunocytological investigations were used to improve the clinical diagnosis of CNSL.Three patients with CNSL presented with 3 distinct profiles:diffuse meningeal invasion, intracranial masses of tumor and intramedullary spinal invasion. Both contrast enhanced CT and MR provided CNSL lesions in the brain parenchyma and meninges. It is suggested that combining CT,MR findings and immunological markers can improve clinical diagnosis of CNSL.

Objective To study a noninvasive determination of blood glucose concentration in human body. Methods Using FT-IR AIR technique, the relative intensity of~1123cm 1 bands was compared with the determinating results of blood glucose with a instant blood glucose instrument. Results The relative intensity change of ~1123cm 1 bands in mid-infrared spectra of middle finger, was in accordance with the variation of blood glucose concentration in human body, and its relative intensity was significantly related to the blood glucose concentration in human body.(R=0.83485. To explore the associations between the presence of bacteria and virus in the nasopharyngeal secretions, and wheezing, condition and hospitalization period in infants with community acquired pneumonia. Methods Clinical data, inclu-ding detection of bacteria and viruses, conditions and hospitalization period, of 1106 hospitalized infants with community ac-quired pneumonia from March 2009 to February 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. The infants were classiifed into wheezing (697 cases) and non-wheezing (409 cases) groups. Results Viruses were detected in 540 infants (48.8%), and the total detection rate of viruses and detection rate of respiratory syncytial virus in wheezing group were signiifcantly higher than those of non-wheezing group (P=0.000). Bacteria were detected in 590 cases (53.3%) and no signiifcance was found between two groups (P=0.821). The detection rate of Streptococcus pneumonia was higher in wheezing group than that of non-wheezing group (P=0.038). Comparing to the infants detected with both viruses and bacteria, no signiifcances were found in the occurrence of severe pneumonia and hos-pitalization period in those infants detected with viruses only (P>0.05), as well as in the wheezing time of period (P>0.05). Con-clusions Wheezing in infants with community acquired pneumonia is related to the infection of viruses, especially to respiratory syncytial viruses. Virus infection accompanying bacterial infection has no impact on duration of hospitalization and wheezing. The infection of Streptococcus pneumonia may relate to wheezing in infants.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(11):1630-1636
BACKGROUND:The cel sheet technology that is applied with the absence of scaffolds and enzymatic digestion can effectively repair tissue defects and improve organ function, by stimulating the secretion of extracelular matrix to form a dense membrane tissue.
OBJECTIVE: To review the recent progress in cel sheet technology used in tissue engineering, thereby providing a new idea for relevant basic and clinical research.
METHODS:The first author retrieved CNKI database, Wanfang database and PubMed with the keywords of “cel sheet, tissue engineering” in Chinese and English, respectively. Literature retrieval period was from January 2010 to July 2015.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Cel sheet technology combined with scaffold materials can be used for reconstruction and repair of tissues and organs. With the emerging of new technologies, multi-layer cel sheets are stratified to form a three-dimensional tissue for repair of soft tissues and organs. Compared with the monolayer cel sheet, the three-dimensional cel sheet that is laminated by same or different cel sheets has stronger regenerative ability and can be used to construct the ideal target tissue modelin vitro. Cel sheet technology combined with scaffolds can improve the mechanical strength of the composite and reduce cel loss, which has made great progress in the repair of tooth, bone and cartilage tissue. Currently, the cel sheet technology is at the laboratory stage, and little is reported on its clinical applications. We look forward to more innovative technologies that can be integrated into the cel sheet technology.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Objective This study simulated clinical implant surgery using squeeze technique by establishing a rational animal model. We investigated the microscope image in order to observe the agglutination of the cancellous bone after being compressed. Methods The cancellous bone in condyles of dog femur had been chosen as the experimental position, the implant holes were prepared using squeeze technique according to different compressing extent(0,0.6,1.2,2.0mm),and then the corresponding implants were inserted into them. After different healing periods(1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks,12 weeks),the mongerl dogs were sacrificed and the hard tissue slices were made, then the architecture of the cancellous bone was observed using microscope. Results The architecture of the cancellous bone was changed obviously by squeeze technique in 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks hard tissue slices. After being compressed, the bone trabecula around implants was compact. Conclusion The clinical implant surgery using squeeze technique helps improve peri-implant bone density, which is good for obtaining primary stabilities of implants.

AIM:To compare the effect of 1,2-propanediol (PROH) and ethylene glycol (EG) on apoptosis and expressions of P53,Bcl-2 of follicles in human ovarian tissue,in order to offer experimental foundation for selecting the best cryoprotectant. METHODS:Biopsies of ovarian tissue obtained from 12 women were cryopreserved, and ovarian tissue slice from each woman was divided into three groups:fresh control group, ethylene glycol group and 1,2-propanediol group. The slow-freezing /rapid-thawing protocol was used to freeze and thaw the slice of ovarian cortex. Apoptosis of follicles in fresh and frozen-thawed ovarian cortical tissue was detected by TUNEL experiment, and expressions of P53 and Bcl-2 were detected by immuno-histochemistry. RESULTS:The percentages of apoptosis follicles were 14.58%,23.08%,30.43% in fresh control group,PROH group and EG group, respectively, and the percentage of apoptosis follicles in EG group was higher than that in fresh control group (P0.05). The percentages of P53 positive follicles were 13.48%,25.00% and 33.93%,respectively. There was significant difference between fresh control and EG group (P0.05). CONCLUSION:The results of this study indicate that 1.5 mol/L PROH is more suitable for cryopreservation of human ovarian tissue rather than 1.5 mol/L EG in slow-freezing /rapid-thawing protocol. The protocol of slow-freezing/ rapid-thawing may preserve oocytes well, but it is not ideal for cryopreservation of granulosa cells. Cryopreservation may influence on apoptosis of follicles in human ovarian tissue.
