1.Prevention and management of hypertension in the patients with renal diseases
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2003;0(01):-
Effective management for hypertension in renal diseases should be carried out according to the principles of 2007 ESH-ESC Practice Guidelines for the Management of Arterial Hypertension. The important role of kidney in the classification of hypertension, the corresponding therapy, the set of the target blood pressure, the choice of antihypertensive agents and combination therapy should be focused.Comprehensive approaches should be used for the treatment of hypertension in renal diseases to protect the target organs(including the kidney).Appropriate prevention and management strategies for hypertension in renal diseases should be disseminated and optimized.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;31(4):289-294
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)has certain advantages in the treatment of chronic liver diseases, especially chronic inflam-matory injury and liver fibrosis. However, the studies on medicinal components and action mechanism of TCM prescriptions are confronted with a great challenge. The computational pharmacology methods used in recent years, mainly including virtual screening technique, omics technologies, and network pharmacology approaches,as well as their application in TCM research, are presented;given the previous re-search work, the progress in research on active ingredients and action mechanism of TCM prescriptions using computational pharmacology methods is reviewed. It is thought that computational pharmacology techniques combined with conventional molecular biological and pharma-cological methods are an important research strategy for the material basis and action mechanism of TCMprescriptions for treating chronic liv-er diseases.

Virologica Sinica 2001;16(1):78-80
Based on avian leukosis virus ( ALV) p19 gene terminal nucleotide sequence, a 82 bp double-stranded DNA fragment was chemically synthesized and cloned into the expression vector pGEMEX-1. The sequencing result indicated th at the cloned fragment was a correct version of the one designed both in nucleot ide sequence and in its open reading frame. The recombinant was used to transfor m E.coli BL21 (DE3). The cloned fragment was expressed as a fused protein wi th T7 gene 10 leader peptide and was shown to be 34 kD in size on SDS-PAGE gel when induced with 1 mmol/L IPTG. The expression product was able to bind immunol ogically to rabbit anti-ALV serum in Western-blot assay and is being tested to differentiate exogenous from endogenous ALV.

Objective To research the best plant treatment formulation of flos carthami, aloe vera and potato on mannitol-induced phlebitis in rabbits. Methods Using mannitol-induced phlebitis model in rabbits, the experimental groups contained simple dosage and mixture of three plants, the control groups were blank control group and 95% ethanol group. The curative effects of phlebitis treatment were observed between groups. Results The curative effect of aloe vera and potato mixture group was the best compared with other groups. Conclusions All of the three plants have good curative effects on mannitol-induced phlebitis, and the best plant treatment formulation was aloevera and potato mix-using.

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of BRMS1 ( breast cancer metastasis suppressorl ) protein in colon cancer. Methods The expression of BRMS1 protein was detected by using EliVision immunohistochemical techniques in 46 cases of colon cancer, and adjacent non cancerous colon tissues. The clinical significance with histopathologic records was aralyzed. Results The expression levels of BRMS1 ( 34.8% ) in the colon cancer tissues was significantly lower than those of adjacent non cancerous colon tissues( x2 =23.92,P <0.01 ).The expression of BRMSl was significantly correlated with tumor size, clinical stage, and lymph node status (x2 =6.02,4.28,4.35,all P<0.01) ;BRMS1 had no correlation with age, pathological type. Conclusion BRMS1 might synergistically promote the metastasis of colon cancer.Detection of the expression of BRMS1 may be hdpful in determineing the prognosis of colon cancer.

Objective To explore the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms (rs12953-717) of SMAD7 and susceptibility of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in Chinese Han population. Methods A single nucleotide polymorphisms (rs12953717) from SMAD7 was detected via Sequenom system in 528 NSCLC cases and 762 healthy controls.Data was statistically analyzed by unconditional Logistic regression method. Results rs12953717 had significant differences between non-small cell lung cancer patients and the controls.Compared with CC/TT (CC combined with TT) genotype, the adjusted odds ratio for the CT genotype was 4.107 (95% CI:3.206 ~ 5.260,P =0.000 1).Smokers had a 2.004 odds ratio (95 % CI =1.583 ~ 2.537,P =0.000 1) of NSCLC compared with the controls. There was a 10.074-fold increased risk of NSCLC among the subjects with CT genotype and smokers. Conclusion The polymorphism of rs12953717 may have relation with risk of NSCLC.Heterozygote (CT) is a susceptibility genotype of NSCLC.Smoking is one of the risk factors of NSCLC.Smoking and CT genotype have synergistic effects on NSCLC susceptibility.

Objective To understand the status and features of nursing care adverse events and to offer scientific basis for improving patient safety management of nursing at high altitude area. Methods Data such as categories, causes, time distribution and other factors of nursing care adverse events were collected from January 2013 to August 2014 in the People′s Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region were analyzed. Results Over the study period, 50 adverse events were recorded and the most common types were tube emersion(26%,13/50), pressure sores(14%,7/50) and scald(12%,6/50) respectively. The proportions of different severity of adverse events were hidden events (48%,24/50), events without bad consequence(36%,18/50), adverse events(14%,7/50) and warning events(2%,1/50) respectively. The ineffective communication, inadequate assessment, and not abiding by the rules accounted for 70%(35/50) of the causes of adverse events. 7:00-10:59 and 19:00-22:59 period was the high incidence of adverse events, respectively accounted for 32%(16/50) and 26%(13/50). Conclusions The management of nursing adverse events at high altitude area need to consider the geographical characteristics, besides, to guarantee the implementation of the system, reduce the bed / nurse ratio, improve the comprehensive quality of nurses and other measures can be taken to reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
