1.Effects of Fu Shen ke li on myocardial cell apoptosis and endoplasmic reticulum stress-related protein expressions in rats with adriamycin induced heart failure
Journal of Chinese Physician 2017;19(4):556-559
Objective To explore the contribution of endoplasmic reticulum stress to cardiac myocyte apoptosis in mouse congestive heart failure induced by Doxorubicin. Methods Doxorubicin (DOX)was administered intraperitoneally to rats,2 mg/kg doses over 8 weeks.Echocardiographic and hemodynamics measurements were obtained at 8 weeks after treatment. Then left ventricular (LV) samples were collected. The successfully established rats were divided into 3 groups (Fu Shen Ke Li 40 mg/kg,60 mg/kg,and 80 mg/kg).After 5 weeks post the operation,an echocardiographic was performed on all the rats under narcotism,Western blot to test the B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2),myeloid cell leukemia-1 (Mcl-1),Bcl-2-Associated X (Bax),Caspase-3,C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP),and 78-kDa glucose-regulated protein(GRP78),and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to test the mRNA expression levels of Mcl-1,and NOXA.Results The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD),left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) prompted modeling success The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),and fractional shortening (FS) have been improved in high and middle groups of Fu Shen Ke Li.Compared to the model group, higher expression levels of Bcl-2,and Mcl-1 were, lower expressions of Bax,NOXA,CHOP,and GRP78 were (P < O.05) in 3 groups of Fu Shen Ke Li.Compared to the model group, there were higher mRNA expression level of Mcl-1 was, lower mRNA expression of NOXA was (P < 0.05) in 3 groups of Fu Shen Ke Li.Conclusions Fu Shen Ke Li depresses endoplasmic reticulum stress, which can reduce the apoptosis of myocardial cells, and ultimately achieve the purpose of treatment of heart failure.

Objective To investigate the expression of tumor stem cell marker aldehyde dehydrogenase -1 (ALDH-1)in primary tumor and lymph node metastases of lymph node-positive invasive micropapillary carcinoma ( IMPC) of breast and its clinical significance .Methods The expression , location and distribution of ALDH-1 were examined by immunohistochemical staining in 103 cases with lymph node metastasis of IMPC and 110 cases with lymph node metastasis of invasive ductal carcinoma not otherwise specified ( IDC-NOS) without preoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy , and their relationship with clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic sig-nificance was analyzed .Results ( 1 ) The positive expression rate of ALDH-1 was significantly higher in IMPC group of primary tumor and lymph node metastases (37.9% in primary tumor, 39/103 cases;47.6% in lymph node metastases, 49/103 cases)than in IDC-NOS group(21.8% in primary tumor, 24/110 cases; 23.6% in lymph node metastases, 26/110 cases)(P<0.05).(2)Expression of ALDH-1 had a significantly positive corre-lation with tumor size , histological grade , lymph node metastasis , ER-negative status , PR-negative status , and HER2 overexpression in primary tumor and lymph node metastases of IMPC (P<0.05).(3)The disease-free sur-vival of IMPC group patients was significantly shorter than that of IDC-NOS group patients(P=0.003).In IPMC patients with lymphode metastases , the disease-free survival of patients with ALDH-1 positive in primary tumor and lymph node was significantly lower than patients with ALDH-1 negative expression (P<0.05).In multivari-ate analysis, positive expression of ALDH-1 in metastatic lesions was associated with worse prognosis ( P =0.005).Conclusion ALDH-1 can be used as an independent factor for predicting prognosis of patients with lymph node-positive breast IMPC and the existence of stem cells in IMPC tumor cells may represent high IMPC lymphatic invasion , lymph node metastasis and high resistance .

Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective:To obtain crude mutacin produced by clinical isolate of Mutans streptococci (Ms) and to test its antibacteria activity. Methods:The mutacin in supernatant of in vitro cultured clinical isolate of Ms was extracted by chloroform, the antibacteria activity and heat stability of the crude extract were tested by bacteria culture technique. Results:Crude extract of protein was obtained fom clinical isolate of Ms. 10 ml of the liquid extract produced a 19 mm inhibitory zone in cultrue dish, indicating its antibacteria activity. The activity could maintain in 80 ℃ for 120 min, indicating its heat stability. Conclusion: The crude extract can represent the antibacteria activity and heat stability of mutacin.

0.05).Follow-up was available for(14.2?3.6) months(range,7-19 months) in the laparoscopic group and for(13.1?4.2) months(range,7-19 months) in the laparotomy group. No recurrence was detected in both the groups during the follow-up.ConclusionLaparoscopic surgery do not affect the expression levels of the factors, including E-cadherin,MMP-2,VEGF-C,and CD44v6,that influence the metastasis and implantation of tumor cells in patients with endometrial cancer.

Objective To understand the relationship between Toxoplasma gondii infection and pet-breeding and hygienic status. Methods One or two districts were chosen from Jining City, Za-ozhuang City and Linyi City as study areas and the questionnaire surveys were carried out for hygienic status, etc. The pet-breeders and non-pet-breeders were paired by sex, age, living place and occupation so on in a ratio of one to one. Blood samples taken from each were tested for antibodies against T. gondii with ELISA in a double-blind method. Results The total infection rate was 14. 25%, much higher than that investigated ten years ago (1. 53%). The mean positive infection rate was 19.91% in the pet-breeding groups and 8.60% in the control groups (x2 = 11.57, P

International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(12):909-912
With the increased survival of the low birth weight, brain injury in the premature infants be-comes a problem of enormous importance. The introduction of the term “encephalopathy of prematurity” is the current recognition that preterm brain injury is a complex of white and gray matter damage. The combination of white matter injury and neuronal/axonal deficits constitutes encephalopathy of prematurity. The preterm infants develop primary destructive brain lesions, secondary degeneration and disturbance of maturation from hypoxia-is-chemia and inflammation, which leads to cerebral palsy, cognitive, behavioral,or language deficits. This article reviews the neuropathology, pathogenesis, therapy and neurodevelopmental disability of encephalopathy of pre-maturity.
