Background Studies showed that 577 nm subliminal micropulse photocoagulation for retinal diseases is more effective and much safer than 577 nm laser, but its mechanism and sensitive target cells are still unelucidated. Objective This study was to compare the histomorphology changes of rabbit retinas following 577 nm subliminal micropulse excitation and 577 nm laser for retinal photocoagulation and offer a conference for the clinical application of 577 nm subliminal micropulse excitation. Methods Twenty-six Chinese pigment rabbits were randomly divided into normal control group (2 rabbits),577 nm laser photocoagulation group (6 rabbits) and subliminal micropulse photocoagulation group (18 rabbits),in which the rabbits from subliminal micropulse photocoagulation group were subgrouped into 9%,12% and 15% subthreshold photocoagulation groups according to the different workload rates, and retinal photocoagulation was performed based on grouping. No treatment was carried out in the normal control group.Fundus camera and OCT were obtained after photocoagulation, and the rabbits were sacrificed to prepare the specimen of eyeball wall.Hematoxylin and eosin staining was employed to examine the histopathological change of choroid and retina under the light microscope. Results The retinal morphology was normal on the fundus color photography and OCT in the normal control group.Obscure of retinal structure and slight edema of retinal neuroepithelial layer with obscure of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) was found respectively in the 9% and 12% subthreshold photocoagulation group, and serious edema of retinal neuroepithelial layer with local RPE elevation was visible in the 15% subthreshold photocoagulation group. The laser spot was invisible in various subliminal micro pulse groups. However, retinal photocoagulation spots, multifocal elevation of retinal layer and serious detachment of retinal neuroepithelium were found in the 577 nm laser group.Retinal histopathological examination revealed that the photoreceptors, bipolar cells and retinal ganglion cell (RGC) layers were normal, while choroidal vessel deformation and bleeding were visible in the 9% and 12% subthreshold photocoagulation groups, and only photoreceptor membrane swelling was seen in the 15% subthreshold photocoagulation group. However, retinal structure abnormality was displayed in 577 nm laser group, including the structural disorders of inner and outer nuclear layers and RGC layer as well as thinning of RPE layer. Conclusions 577 nm nicropulse laser under threshold is sensitive for RPE and choroid rather than retina neurepithelium, which can play a treating role and also does not damage retina seriously.However,577 nm laser photocoagulation results in retinal structure damage.

AlM: To observe the influence on the incidence of diffuse lamellar keratitis ( DLK ) after laser in situ keratomileusis ( LASlK ) whether or not wearing sterile gloves with talc during operation, and to confirm the role of residual talc in the occurrence of DLK.
METHODS: Totally 563 patients ( 1 126 eyes ) accepted operation with the method of surgical hand antisepsis only were set as the experimental group, while 592 patients ( 1 184 eyes ) with the method of surgical hand antisepsis and sterile gloves as the control group. Each patient was rechecked to observe the occurrence of DLK on the first day and the seventh day after the operation. Then the data of DLK were statistically analyzed byχ2 test and rank sum test.
RESULTS:On the first postoperative day, the incidence of DLK was 7. 4% (83 eyes) in experimental group and 12. 2% (144 eyes) in control group. ln the former group, stage Ⅰ of DLK accounted for 4. 6% (52 eyes) and stageⅡ for 2. 8% (31 eyes);while in the latter, stage l did for 7. 7% (91 eyes) and stageⅡfor 4. 5% (53 eyes). On the seventh day, all DLK were cured. The other 2 cases ( 3 eyes) occurred in stage Ⅳ DLK ( the first time recheck was on the eighth day after operation and fluorometholone ophthalmic solution was not used on time ) . The incidence and the severity were both significant lower in the experimental group than in the control (both P<0. 01).
CONCLUSlON: Talc is one of the most important factors resulting in DLK after LASlK. The method of surgical hand antisepsis without wearing gloves could avoid the stimulation of talc and reduce the incidence of DLK obviously.

Acetabular is an important human joint for weight bearing. Quadrilateral plate is a crucial structure of medial acetabulum with special morphology and important function. Quadrilateral plate fractures are common fracture in acetabulum. Quadrilateral plate fracture is hard to expose and reduction because it is in the medial of acetabulum. At the same time, the bone in the quadrilateral plate is not easy to fixed for thinning bones and adjacent to the articular cavity. The operator should know well about the anatomy and choose the suitable internal fixation. After quadrilateral plate fractures, the femur head maybe displace medially even break into pelvis. That make reduction and treatment always be a challenge. With different kinds of fractures, the efficacy of treatment is not the same. This paper intend to review the relation of anatomic features, approaches, internal fixations, key point of treatment and efficacy.

Abstract:Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is one of the most common liver diseases in the world. Long-term alcoholism causes a series of pathological changes in the liver, which eventually leads to the occurrence of liver diseases with an increasing incidence. At present, significant progress has been made in the pathogenesis and pathological development of alcoholic liver disease, but the relevant mechanism of ALD has not been thoroughly studied. It is necessary to improve the existing animal model or establish a new, more comprehensive animal ALD model to simulate human ALD. Experimental animal models of ALD, especially rodents, are often used to simulate human ALD, and the ideal rodent ALD model can effectively simulate all aspects of alcohol in human liver. But so far, the commonly used animal models all have certain defects, and there is no complete animal model that can simulate human ALD. This paper reviewed the pathogenesis of ALD, related methods and influencing factors of ALD model, and provided a theoretical basis for relevant researchers to establish the ALD rodent model.

Objective To explore the role of CD 30 on CD4 + T lymphocyte and T lymphocyte subset activation in asthma pathogenesis. Methods Twenty seven asthma active attack patients,16 acute upper respiratory infection patients and 19 control children were randomly selected. Direct immunofluorescence flow cytometry was used to detect the CD 30 positive percentage on CD4 +cell; ELISA was used to detect the levels of interleukin(IL) 4 and IL 13 in culture supernatants of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) and plasma total immunoglobulin E(IgE) level. Results Compared with control group and acute upper respiratory infection group, in asthmatic children the CD4 +CD 30 + percentage on CD4 + cell was elevated significantly; 2.The levels of IL 4 and IL 13 in supernatants of cultured lymphocyte were increased significantly, the plasma total IgE level was increased significantly;3.There was a significant positive correlation of CD4 +CD 30 + cell percentage with the levels of IL 4 and IL 13 in culture supernatants and plasma total IgE.Conclusions The cell that could produce Th2 derived cytokine may consist of CD 30 +cell; When CD 30 L combined with CD 30 on CD4 + cells ,it might result in Th2 cell proliferation ,develop and release Th2 derived cytokine; IL 4 and IL 13 could induce B cell production and secrete more IgE. It is suggested that CD 30 and imbalance of Th2 subset may play an important role in asthma pathogenesis.

To observe the effects of Danshen-containing serum on SuFu and DYRK2 expression in the HSCs stimulated by leptin. SD rats (n = 60) were used to make danshen-containing serum by gastric perfusion for ten days with Danshen water decoction, normal saline and colchicine. The HSCs that were cultured in vitro would be stimulated for 24 hours by leptin (100 μg x L(-1)) except blank control group, after being intervened, the drug serum in each group would be cultured at 37 degrees C in 5% incubator. The cells would be collected after 24 hours, then the effects of danshen-containing serum on the proliferation of HSCs were detected by MTT, the expression of SuFu mRNA and DYRK2 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR, the expression of SuFu and DYRK2 proteins were tested by Western blot. Compared with blank control group, the expression of DYRK2 mRNA and DYRK2 proteins were enhanced obviously after stimulated the HSCs of rats by leptin (P < 0.01), but the expression of SuFu mRNA and SuFu proteins were decreased significantly (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, after cyclopamine group (Hh pathway inhibitor), Danshen-containing serum and colchicine were interfered, the expression of DYRK2 mRNA and DYRK2 proteins were decreased clearly (P < 0.01), but the expression of SuFu mRNA and SuFu proteins were increased significantly (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). Compared with model group, adding purmorphamine (Hh pathway agonist) to model group and making it activate could increase the expression of DYRK2 mRNA and DYRK2 proteins, but the expression of SuFu mRNA and SuFu proteins were decreased significantly (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, using the Danshen-containing serum to interfere the purmorphamine group could make the expression of DYRK2 mRNA and DYRK2 proteins decrease and the expression of SuFu mRNA and SuFu proteins increase significantly (P < 0.01). Danshen-containing serum would inhibition the activation and increment of HSCs by interfering the expression of SuFu and DYRK2 which were induced by leptin.
