Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(05):-
Objective To study the effect of heat treatment with sol-gel method on the surface of Ni-Cr alloy for PFM after Ti coating. Methods To establish the sol-gel method of Ti coating on the surface of Ni-Cr dental casting alloy for PFM(pre-treatment for the surface of Ni-Cr alloy, preparation of sol, coating, heat treatment) and to evaluate the color and fragmentation of 10 materials after heat treatment by ISO 10289. Results When kept at a higher condensation temperature and held for a longer time, the materials had less fragmentation.A higher agglutination temperature and a longer time made the materials look deep. When the condensation process was heat treated at(200 ℃) for 2 h and the agglutination process at 450 ℃ for 2 h,the thin film of Ti combined firmly with the surface of Ni-Cr alloy. Conclusion The procedure for heat treatment of Ti coating will affect the level of oxidation reaction on the surface of Ni-Cr alloy, and will change the level of combination between Ti and Ni-Cr alloy.
2.Effect of Mutans Streptococcus on Corrosion Resistance of Ni-Cr Alloy
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(10):-
Objective To study the effect of Mutans Streptococcus(S.Mutans) on the corrosion resistance of Ni-Cr alloy. Methods S.Mutans were isolated in TSB,and then 10~(5)10~6 CFU/mL of bacterial population was reached. The self-corrosion electrical current density and the corrosion electrical current potential of Ni-Cr alloy were found from polarization curves under the condition with or without media plus S.Mutans.The surface of Ni-Cr alloy after bacterial corrosion was examined with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) to find out different element contents.(Results)From polarization curves,it could be found that the self-corrosion electrical current density and the corrosion electrical current potential of Ni-Cr alloy without S.Mutans were 53.5 ?A/cm~(2)and-62 mV,and those with S.Mutans were 75.7 ?A/cm~(2)and-220 mV.Examination of XPS showed that besides Ni and Cr,the element of chlorine(Cl),sulphur(S),calcium(Ca) could be found on the surface of Ni-Cr alloy after bacterial corrosion.(Conclusion Because of) the metabolism of S.Mutans,an oxide film could be destroyed and a biofilm be formed on the surface of Ni-Cr alloy.Bacterial corrosion could lower the corrosion resistance performance of Ni-Cr alloy.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of uterine arterial embolization combined with Methotrexate and Lactate ethacri-dine on related indexes of mid-pregnant patients with placenta previa abortion. METHODS:The data of 100 mid-pregnant patients with placenta previa who required inducing labor was retrospectively analyzed and divided into observation group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases)by different treatment. Control group received uterine arterial embolization before inducing labor, then received Lac-tate ethacridine injection 100 mg,amniotic injection+Mifepristone tablet 75 mg,and aborted after 2 d. Observation group received uterine arterial embolization after uterine arterial perfusionon both sides, then received Methotrexate for injection 50 mg/side after uter-ine arterial embolization catheter entering uterine artery,Lactate ethacridine injection(the same usage and dosage as control group)+Mifepristone tablet(the same usage and dosage as control group)was given after 12 h. Total parturition, intrapartum hemorrhage,hos-pitalization time, menstruation recovery time, cesarean section, hysterectomy, retained placenta and clearing palace in 2 groups were observed, and postoperative complications were recorded. RESULTS:Intrapartum hemorrhage, hospitalization time, cesarean section rate and hysterectomy rate in observation group were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05), while there were no significant differences in total parturition, menstruation recovery time, retained placenta rate and clearing palace rate in 2 groups(P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications in 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Uterine arterial embolization combined with Methotrexate and Lactate ethacridine can effectively reduce the hemor-rhage of mid-pregnant patients with placenta previa abortion, shorten hospitalization time, and decrease cesarean section and hysterec-tomy rate.

Objective To investigate the imaging characteristics, clinical features and outcomes of penetrating ar-tery disease (PAD) cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred cases of cerebral infarction were divided into 44 cases of PAD group and 56 cases of LAA (large artery atherosclerosis ) group by brain MRI and neck CTA, or DSA neck artery ultrasound. The clinical features, imaging characteristics, outcome and progressive motor deficits(PMD) were compared between PAD cerebral infarction and large artery atherosclerosis (LAA) cerebral infarction. Results There were For-ty-four (44%) cases of PAD cerebral infarction, 56 (56%) cases of LAA cerebral infarction according to 2011 Chinese ischemic stroke subclassification (CISS). The smoking, drinking and TIA histories was significantly less in PAD group (27.27%) than in LAA group (50%) (P=0.021,0.023 and 0.025 respectively,);compared with LAA group, PMD occured in PAD group more frequently. (56.82% vs. 30.36%, P=0.008); lesions were located in the lateral ventricles in most PAD group which was significantly different from LAA group (52.27% vs. 21.43%, P=0.001). Modified Rankin Scale, (mRS) was not significantly different between two groups (1.43 ± 1.17 vs. 1.43 ± 1.45, P=0.99) at 3 months. Conclu-sions Patients with PAD cerebral infarction have PMD at early stage but have good prognosis at three months.
