AlM: To explore the clinical significances and changes of related parameters of corneal endothelial cell in keratouveitis patients before and after treatment.
METHODS:Fifty-two keratouveitis patients ( 52 eyes ) diagnosed and treated in our hospital from October 2012 to December 2013 were collected. Before and after treatment, the related parameters of corneal endothelial cell in all patients were measured with non - contact corneal specular microscope and these parameters were statistically analyzed.
RESULTS: Compared with the normal group, obvious endothelial cell edema and great variation was observed in diseased group. The shorter duration of treatment, the better the recovery of endothelial cells and the fewer cells lose. Conversely, the longer the healing of normal hexagonal cell ratio was smaller, the larger the coefficient of variation. Before and after treatment, the differences of each parameter were statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSlON: The functional recovery of corneal endothelial cell has directly relation with disease times.

?AIM: To discuss the application of anterior segment optic coherence tomography ( AS-OCT ) in the diagnosis of corneal ulcer.?METHODS: The cross linear scan was used in 88 patients ( 88 eyes ) with corneal lesion by AS-OCT to gather the image data, observe the pathological changed tissue by measuring all layers for patients with initial inspection, providing important visual images and data for treatments. All the patients were followed up for 2mo.?RESULTS:Clear images with structure of all layers were obtained. It can provide the intuitive image data and scan the same position and show the changes during the treatment.?CONCLUSION: AS-OCT can discover the important condition immediately. It also can monitor course of disease dynamically, provide the intuitive image data for clinical treatment.

Objective To investigate the spatial distribution and clustering areas of Budd-Chiari syndrome in Heze City,Shandong Province,and to provide epidemiological information for further exploring the etiology and related risk factors of the disease.Methods Detailed residential addresses of 342 cases of patients (residents of Heze City) with diaphragm type Budd-Chiari syndrome diagnosed between 1995 and 2004 in Heze Municipal Hospital,Heze Shan County Central Hospital,Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College,Shandong Provincial Hospital and Beijing Xuanwu Hospital were collected.Geographic information system (GIS) was used as a platform for data management and display.The nearest neighbor index,Ripley's K(d) function,Ripley's L(d) function and the nearest neighbor clustering method were applied to detect the spatial characters of Budd-Chiari syndrome in Heze City,Shandong Province.Crimestat 3.0 was used for spatial analysis.Results The nearest neighbor distance analysis showed that the nearest neighbor index was 0.6767 (Z =-11.4387,P ＜ 0.01).That was an aggregation at the first-order spatial scale.Within the study area,the first clustering radius of Budd-Chiari syndrome was 6.66 km,and the first clustering strength was 5.40; the average radius of the strongest clustering area was 126.61 km,and the clustering strength was 12.52,while the biggest clustering radius was larger than 222 km.After corrected by population,the gathering strength was slightly higher than that before the correction.Ten first-order hot spots were formed,and 95％ confidence interval aggregation number was 7,which meant the results were statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05),main clustering areas are in Mudan District,Shan County and Juancheng.One secondorder hot spot was gathered based on the first-order hot spot.Conclusions Spatial distribution of Budd-Chiari syndrome in Heze City,Shandong Province has showed spatial aggregation and heterogeneity.This study has a great epidemiological significance for further exploring the cause of Budd-Chiari syndrome.

Objective To improve detectable rate of gastric schwannoma by endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). Method Clinical data and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) imaging features of 4 cases were retrospectively ana-lyzed which diagnosed as gastric schwannoma pathologically and immunohistochemically while diagnosed as gastric stromal tumor by EUS from May 2008 to June 2015 and reviewed the literature. Results 4 cases of gastric schwan-nomas are female and benign, all 4 lesions are solitary, 3 in gastric body, and 1 in fundus by endoscopic. By EUS, all lesions are originated from muscularis propria, hypoechoic change, even echoes and clear board without calcifica-tion or cystic changes. 2 cases have halo artifacts around the lesion. Literature review found that gastric schwannoma tended to occur in female, halo artifacts could be the feature of gastric schwannoma, calcification or cystic changes were rare in gastric schwannoma which were common in gastric stromal tumors. Conclusion It was difficult to distin-guish gastric schwannoma and gastric stromal tumors that originated from muscularis propria by EUS. For female patients with lesions originated from muscularis propria, originated from muscularis propria and occurred in gastric body, it was necessary to observe lesions whether there was being calcification or cystic and halo artifacts. Integrated all these performance, we should be in consideration of gastric stromal tumors, meanwhile, excluding the possibility of gastric schwannoma.

A rare strain of actinomycetes, with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, was isolated from the soil samples from the farmland in the area of Yaohu lake in Nanchang. The information about the taxonomic identification, such as the morphology, physiological properties, cell components and 16S rRNA gene se-quences, suggested that the rare strain of actinomycetes was identified as Micromonospora carbonacea.

Based on the strain of Micromonospora carbonacea JXNU-1 with board-spectrum antimicrobial activity, the technology for the isolation and purification of antibiotic from the fermentation broth of the Micromonospora carbonacea, and its physical-chemical properties were studied. The results showed that, the antibiotic was stable under the condition of high temperature and alkali, but not in acid solution. After the pretreatment of centrifugation and filtration to remove the cells and lipids, the antibiotic was absorbed to negative exchange resin, and the impurity was excluded when 2 mol/L NaCl was used as primary eluent. The antibiotic could be eluted with 20% alcohol as eluent, and the eluting speed of the antibiotic was greatly accelerated as 2 mol/L NaCl was added into 20% alcohol as final eluent. Aqueous solution of the antibiotic was yielded from the alcohol-salt eluant by decompression concentration to wipe off alcohol and by dialysis to exclude salt. One active component was detected in antibiotic solution by paper chromatography, and theHPLC purity was over 99%. As the antibiotic shows positive color-forming reaction to Molish reagents, Benedict’s reagents and Diohenvlamine reagents, combined with the characteristics of absorption spectra, it is deduced that the antibiotic belongs to nucleoside antibiotics.

Advances in mechanism and application of the heating effect in breeding of microorganism are reviewed in this paper. Heat produces mutagenesis effect and screening effect. Heating mutagenesis effect is occurred through the substitution of G-C base pair induced by heat, and heating screening effect produces higher forward mutation rate induced by other mutagens.
