2.Advanced liposuction technologies and their potential application in the isolation of adipose-derived stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(1):131-136
BACKGROUND:Currently, cosmetic liposuction has developed rapidly, but the liposuction for the isolation of adipose-derived stem cells has not been reported.
OBJECTIVE:By evaluating the quantity and viability of stromal vascular fraction, adipocytes and adipose-derived stem cells obtained from different types of liposuctions, to find the advanced liposuction procedures that are most suitable for use in preparation, preservation and clinical application of adipose-derived stem cells.
METHODS:Authors retrieved PubMed database, NIH clinical trial databaseand CNKI ful text database for relevant articles using the key words of“adipose-derived stem cells, ADSCs, liposuction, SAL, UAL, PAL, WAL”in English and Chinese, respectively. After eliminating the objective-independent articles and repeating reviews, 50 papers were included for further analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Suction-assisted liposuction (SAL), ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL), power-assisted liposuction (PAL) and water-assisted liposuction (WAL) are four major types of fat-harvesting technologies that can possibly be applied for adipose-derived stem cells isolation. Accumulative evidence suggests that these advanced liposuctions can obtain high quality of adipose tissue/cells, which are good enough for autologous fat grafting. Adipose-derived stem cells that are isolated from lipoaspirate by WAL, SAL and UAL, can be used as autologous cel-assisted lipotransfer and regenerative therapy. In summary, although each of these four types of liposuction technologies has its own advantages and is feasible to be used as autologous fat grafting, systematic comparative studies for viability, chromosome stability and differentiation potentials of adipose-derived stem cells isolated using each col ecting method are necessary in order to confirm the future perspectives in adipose-derived stem cells isolation, banking and regenerative repair.

4.Multidrug resistance-associated proteins and their roles in multidrug resistance.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2011;46(5):479-86
Multidrug resistance (MDR) is a major impediment to the success of cancer chemotherapy. Multidrug resistance-associated proteins (MRPs) play an important role in the process of MDR. As an ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily, MRPs are selective and specific drug efflux pumps. In this paper, physiological characteristics, structural characteristics and resistance profile of MRPs and the associated reversal studies are reviewed.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;(33):15-17
Objective To compare the effect of atropine sulphate and cyclopentolate hydrochloride in the treatment of youth hyperopia cycloplegic refraction, and provide the basis for a reasonable choice of the youth cycloplegic refraction drugs. Methods Ninety hyperopia children met inclusion criteria with refractive errors (180 eyes) were subjected to cycloplegic refratometry by 1% cyclopentolate hydrochloride followed with 1% atropine sulphate eye used gel.The refractive results, pupil size, residual adjustment amount and systemic side reactions were measured and compared by TOPCON.Results The coincidence rate of spherical lens degrees, cylinder lens degrees and axis of astigmatism degrees respectively was 84.44% (152/180),92.78% (167/180) and 92.78% (167/180) between atropine sulphate and cyclopentolate hydrochloride. The spherical lens degrees of cyclopentolate hydrochloride was lower than atropine sulphate, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01),the cylinder lens degrees and axis of astigmatism degrees had no significant difference between two drugs (P> 0.05).The pupil size and residual adjustment amount of cyclopentolate hydrochloride had no significant difference with atropine sulphate (P > 0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of cyclopentolate hydrochloride was 3.33% (3/90),atropine sulphate was 13.33% (12/90),the cyclopentolate hydrochloride was significantly lower than atropine sulphate (P < 0.05).Conclusion The cyclopentolate hydrochloride has powerful, fast and secure feature in the treatment of youth hyperopia cycloplegic refraction, has good ciliary muscle paralysis effect, has longer paralysis time,as effective as the atropine sulphate, and has a shorter recovery time and better security,is ideal cycloplegic drugs for youth hyperopia cycloplegic refraction.
6.The role of intraoperatve radiotherapy in the management of breast cancer
China Oncology 2013;(8):590-595
Breast cancer is the most common disease in women worldwide, which not only threatened the women’s survival time, but also inlfuenced their quality of life as well. Within this challenge, it’s important to optimize the current multidisciplinary treatment stratagem for breast cancer. Radiotherapy is one of the most important treatment modality for patients with breast cancer, with the trend to shrink the irradiated volume and shorten the total fraction times in recent years. Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) as a fast and convenient procedure has the ability to deliver a high, single-fraction radiation dose to tumor beds with minimal exposure of surrounding tissues (lung, heart, etc.), which could be displaced or shielded right after the tumor removal during the surgical procedure. Right now, IORT has been either integrated as a boost technique in multimodal approaches using postoperative EBRT in the treatment of early breast cancer patients undergoing breast conservation surgery or used as a single dose accelerated partial breast irradiation technique for these patients. This review discussed the rationale of IORT, the beneifts and limitations of IORT, the indication and the clinical results of this procedure, including treatment related side-effects as well in order to provide the preliminary evidence based approach for early breast cancer patients.
7.Study on multiple stem cell sources for mature vascular endothelial cells
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;31(4):201-205
Stem cells offer considerable promise in the repair or replacement of damaged tissue in the body.Mature and functional endothelial cells play a pivotal role in neovascularization and maintenance of blood vessel integrity.Although being the best choice for transplantation endothelial, cells isolated from autologous vessels have been heavily obstacled in medical application due to poor resources and limitted proliferation potential in culture. Thus, stem cells have been the focus of the studies soareh for suitable cell sources.Several types of stem cells have been reported to possess endothelial cell differentiation potential. This article summarized the recent study on the sources,distribution,features-differentiation,animal experiments and clinical use of stem cells.Advantages and disadvantages are compared to provide a reference for the choice of evdothelial celia source.
8.Advances in application of lipid emulsion in acute poisioning
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2016;25(7):964-969

9.The Association of HLA-DQB1 Alleles and Generalized Pustular Psoriasis
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(03):-
Objectives To investigate the association between HLA-DQB1 alleles and Han Chinese with generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) from Shandong. Methods The distributing frequencies of HLA-DQB1 alleles were detected with polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers (PCR-SSP) in 38 GPP patients and 94 healthy subjects from Shandong. Results ①The frequencies of HLA-DQB1*0201 and *0603 alleles increased significantly in GPP patients compared with those of the healthy controls(Pc = 0.005 and Pc = 0.013 , respectively), and the frequency of HLA- DQB1*0604 alleles decreased (OR = 0.08, Pc = 0.039). ②There were significant association between the GPP patients with a previous history of psoriasis vulgaris and HLA-DQB1*0201 and *0603 alleles (OR = 32.31, Pc = 0.005; OR = 12.42, Pc = 0.005, respectively), and between the GPP patients without the history and HLA-DQB1*0602 alleles (OR = 5.60, Pc = 0.039). Conclusions HLA-DQB1*0201 and *0603 alleles are significantly associated with the Chinese patients with GPP in Han population from Shandong. There is a significant heterogeneity in the GPP patients with and without the history of psoriasis vulgaris.
10.Research on DRG-like grouping of cesarean section patients in the Beijing area
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(03):-
Objective To establish a model of DRG-like grouping of cesarean section patients in the Beijing area so as to observe its feasibility of controlling rising medical costs. Methods DRG-like grouping of cesarean section patients was conducted by case-mix/DRG.The patients were divided into 3 groups according to complications: the serious complication group, the moderate complication group, and the minor or no complication group. Results The rate of cesarean sections remained at 50% or so in Beijing.A statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the 3 groups in costs and length of hospital stay.70% of the cases in the serious complication group belonged to the high cost group whereas 70 % of the cases in the minor or no complication group belonged to the low cost group. Conclusion The main ways of controlling rising costs for cesarean sections include reducing the rate of cesarean sections and(adopting) DRG-like PPS payments in view of the nature of medical insurance and government payments for cesarean sections.
