Objective To explore the effect of problem-based 1earning (PBL) combined with PICO model in clinical nursing internship teaching. Methods A retrospective case-control study was adopted,133 undergraduate nursing students in grade 2010 were selected as theexperimental group, and 128 undergraduate nursing students in grade 2009 were selected as the control group. The students in the experimental group received a teaching method which combined PBL with PICO model, while the students in the control group received traditional teaching methods. The two groups were evaluated by Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and questionnaire survey. Results The OSCE grade and evaluation of teaching method in the experimental group students were higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions PBL combined with PICO model teaching methods are not only beneficial to cultivate and improve the clinical nursing competency and comprehensive qualities of the nursing students, but also let the students gradually learn and permeate the ideas of any decision made by clinician should be based on the scientific research results, which from the main thought of the evidence-based practice. It can lay a good foundation for going to work in the future, and is also worthy of being popularized and applied in clinical internship teaching of undergraduate nursing students.

Objective To investigate the expression of miRNA-16 in peripheral blood monouclear cells (PBMC)from systemic lupus erythematosus( SLE)patients. Methods Sixteen SLE patients who meet the diagnostic criteria of SLE revised in 1997 American rheumatology and 12 healthy individuals were selected as our subjects. Their peripheral blood were sampled. Total RNAs were extracted and purified. The level of miRNA-16 was determined by quantitative reverse transcription PCR( qRT-PCR). U6 was used as housekeeping control. The amount of target miRNA was normalized relative to the amount of U6(ΔCt =ΔCt miRNA-ΔCtU6 ). Relative expression levels were expressed as 2-ΔCt . Results The expression level of miRNA-16 in the SLE patients was 919. 87 ± 715. 45,significantly higher than that in the healthy control group(413. 6 3 ± 330. 69;t= -2. 497,P﹤0. 05). And miRNA-16 expression in SLE active group was 1 298. 79 ± 803. 79,significantly higher than that in SLE stable group(540. 95 ± 350. 15;t= -2. 445,P﹤0. 05). The level of miRNA-16 was related with AnuA (r=0. 669,P=0. 005),ESR(r=0. 608,P=0. 012)and SLEDAI(r=0. 530,P=0. 035). Conclusion The expression of miRNA-16 is high in SLE patients and it is related with SLE activity.

Objective To evaluate the impact of programmed nursing intervention based on MEWS for potential accidents in critical patients. Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCT) on programmed nursing intervention based on MEWS for potential accidents in critical patients were collected using the databases of PubMed,Medline,FMJS,CNKI,Wanfang database,VIP.Data were analyzed with RevMan5.0 software. Results Four RCTs were included in the study. All were Chinese articles. The incidence of accidents in the intervention group was significandy lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Programmed nursing intervention based on MEWS can effectively reduce the potential accidents happened in critical patients.

Objective To evaluate the effect of the bundle of care interventions in preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) in the mechanic ventilated patients. Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCT) on the bundle of care interventions in preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) were collected using the databases of PubMed,Medline,Embase,Cochrane library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Wanfang Periodical Databases and Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Databases (VIP),data were analyzed by RevMan5.0 software. Results Ten RCTs were included in the study. The results of Meta-analysis revealed that the incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia, mechanical ventilation time,ICU length of hospital stay and the mortality rate in the intervention group were different from the control group, the difference had statistical significance. Conclusions The bundle of care interventions can reduce the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia, mechanical ventilation time,ICU length of hospital stay and the mortality rate.

Objective:To explore the effects of the scaffolding-based flipped classroom approach in the teaching of Infectious Disease Nursing. Methods:We assigned 152 students of nursing and midwifery majors of grade 2018 (experimental group) to be taught using the scaffolding-based flipped classroom approach and 182 students of grade 2017 (control group) to be taught using the traditional lecture method. Teaching effects were evaluated through students' exam performance and a questionnaire survey. Numerical data were analyzed using the χ2 test and t test with the use of SPSS 18.0, and text data were processed using NVivo 11 for thematic analysis. Results:The experimental group and control group showed significant differences in the interim exam score (83.19±7.96 vs. 79.62±3.14, P<0.001) and final exam score (78.47±6.92 vs. 73.16±8.24, P<0.001). The students of grade 2018 had a high level of participation in online learning. The questionnaire results showed that the scaffolding-based flipped classroom was well recognized in terms of students' overall perception, perceived course quality, perceived value of learning, and satisfaction and the open-ended question, with low scores for learner complaints and loyalty. Conclusions:The scaffolding-based flipped classroom is feasible in the teaching of Infectious Disease Nursing, which can improve students' academic performance and overall competence.
