1.Environment Protection for Relieving Acute Radiation Sickness Patients

OBJECTIVE To save the acute radiation sickness patients by preventing nosocomial infection and implementing environment protection of the wards.METHODS The results of air and the object surface in the wards,the workers′ hands detecting and sampling after improving environment protection were compared with those four days before improving it.RESULTS The problems were solved by the improverent of the new systems,rigorous training of the workers,air disinfecting,object surface management and their working process.CONCLUSIONS Discovering problems,seeking causes and solutions and the standardized administration of the environment in the wards are important to save the acute radiation sickness patients by environment protecting and keep safety of patients.
2.Correlation of occupational stress and job burnout in low seniority nurses of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation of laminar flow ward

Objective To investigate the correlation of occupational stress and job burnout in low seniority nurses of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation of laminar flow ward .Methods Using the general situation questionnaire and the Maslach burnout inventory , we surveyed 62 low seniority nurses from the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation of laminar flow ward .The nurses ’ occupational stress and job burnout were analyzed for their correlation .Results The scores of job burnout , alienation, lack of the sense of achievement were (17.79 ±6.85), (13.25 ±9.65) and (32.69 ±7.42).No significant differences were found in these aspects (F=0.83, 0.69, 1.56, respectively;P>0.05).The scores of job burnout in nurses with different cultural degree had significant difference (F=10.32,P<0.05).The top 5 pressure sources are worry about working mistakes , maximum workload , unsatisfied salary , poor working environment , lack the understanding and support from nursing managers .The results of pressure sources were associated with emotional exhaustion (r=0.202, 0.325, 0.205, 0.207, 0.243, respectively;P<0.05).Lack the understanding and support from nursing managers were related to alienation , lack of the sense of achievement ( r =0.321,-0.159, respectively;P<0.05).Conclusions The occupation pressure existed in the low seniority nurses from the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation of laminar flow ward should not be ignored .Nursing managers should strengthen the management of human resources , improve the acknowledgement of work tolerance , create a good working environment , and improve the quality and social status of nurses .
