In this paper, we report that pityrosporum o biculare or/and pityrosporum ovale were cultivated from dandruff of 57 patients with seborrheic dermatitis. The posi-tivity rate was 94.7% in our series.The colony grows slowly and appears cream colour, yeastlike and oleophilic. It did not engender hyphae in Rice-Tween 80 medium and did not produce germ tubes in scrum culture. It could not grow and could not utilize carbohydrate in CHO assimilation test and was neither acidogenic nor aerogenous in fermentation test

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of tongue acupuncture plus balloon dilatation in treating deglutition disorders due to achalasia of the cricopharyngeus muscle after cerebral stroke.Method Forty-eight patients with deglutition disorders due to achalasia of the cricopharyngeus muscle after cerebral stroke were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 24 cases each. The two groups both received conventional rehabilitation training. In addition, the treatment group was given tongue acupuncture plus balloon dilatation, and the control group was by balloon dilatation alone. The two groups were treated once a day, for a total of 4 weeks. The water drinking test score and Standardized Swallowing Assessment (SSA) were evaluated before and after the treatment.Result The water drinking test and SSA scores were significantly changed after the intervention in both groups (P<0.05). After the treatment, the water drinking test and SSA scores in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Tongue needling plus balloon dilatation is an effective approach in treating deglutition disorders due to achalasia of the cricopharyngeus muscle after cerebral stroke.

1 8 casts of dermatitis seborrfceica capitis were topically treated with 1% Bifon- azol tincture. All the cases were cured clinically and of the cases turned negative in pathogen cultures. The MIC of Bifonazol to piturosponim ovale were tested in six strains isolated from dandruff.The MIC Bifonazol to Microsporum is 0.25-0.5/ml, slightly superior to Ketokon-azol and Micooazol.The results show that Bifonazol is a hopeful drug for dermatitis seborrheica capi tis and also support the theory that pitytosporem cvale is an opportunistic patogen for dermatitis seborrheica capitis

Objective Previous investigations have shown that N-aeetylcysteine (NAC) could regulate diverse cell type's apoptosis. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mechanism of NAC reversed apoptosis ofcardiomyocytes induced by hypoxia-reoxygenation (H/R). Methods Cardiomyocytes were treated with hypoxia 6 h and reoxygenation 72 h in the absence and presence of NAC (100 μmol/ L). The ROS was assayed by using Image-iTTM LIVE green reactive oxygen species detection kit. The viability of cell was assayed with trypan blue. Early stages ofapoptosis were assessed by flow cytometry using Annexin V, and late stages ofapoptosis were assessed using TUNEL system. Bcl2 and bax mRNA levels were determincd by real-time quantitative PCR. Bcl2, bax, p38 and pp38 protein levels were determined by western blot. Results We found that H/R could markedly increase ROS generation and induce the apoptosis of cardiomyocytes (P<0.01). NAC (100 p tool/L) significantly reduced the generation of ROS and apoptosis (P all <0.01). NAC also significantly reduced the protein ratio of pp38 and p38 and increased the RNA and protein ratio of bcl2 and bax (P all <0.01). Conclusion The results showed that NAC significantly reduced apoptosis through inhibiting the phosphorylation of p38 signal pathway, which has potential value for clinical cardiac diseases.

Objective To explore ways to decrease peripheral vascular complications during parenteral nutrition through peripheral veins. Methods According to the support sequences of giving peripheral parenteral nutrition, ninty perioperative cases were randomly divided into low(20. 3 kPa·h-1 ),medium(27. 1 kPa·h-1 ) and high(33. 9 kPa·h-1 ) osmotic pressure rates(n=30 in each group). The infusion pump was used to control the rate of infusion. The total parenteral nutrient was infused through BD24G venous indwelling needles. The pain ratings at injection sites were evaluated after parenteral nutrition everyday,the incidences of phlebitis were observed three days later after removing the indwelling needles. ResultsUnder the low osmotic pressure,the pain was mild,while for the medium osmotic pressure,the pain became more obvious. The pain was aggravated obviously under high osmotic pressure. There were only two cases of over grade-II phlebitis under low osmotic pressure rate,9 cases under medium osmotic pressure rate and 14 cases under high osmotic pressure rate, in which a grade-Ⅲ phlebitis developed. Conclusion Decreasing the osmotic pressure rate through peripheral venous is an effective method to avoid or reduce the incidences of peripheral vascular complications with the peripheral parenteral nutrition support.

Objective Chronic atrial fibrillation (AF) results in dedifferentiation of atrial cardiomyocytes that plays an important role in the perpetuation of AF.In this study,we aimed to investigate the changes of titin and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) after long time of AF reversal.Methods Twenty-four goats were randomized into four groups:(1) sinus rhythm (SR),(2) 3 months AF (3-mo AF),(3) 3 months SR after 3 months AF (3-mo post AF),(4) 6 months SR after 3-mo AF (6-mo post AF),with 6 in each group.By pacing on the anterior bottom of left atria appendage (LAA),we established a goat model of chronic AF.Atria effective refractory period (AERP) was measured with electrophysiological methods.Ultra-structure was studied with echocardiography,light and electron microscopy.Titin and α-SMA protein expressions were determined by Western blot.Results The animals underwent high rate pacing on LAA for a mean of 42.23±21.70 days before presenting AF.Electrophysiological analysis revealed that AERP completely resumed in 3-mo post AF goats.Echocardiography displayed that the size of left atrium resumed almost in 6-mo post AF goats (P＜ 0.01).Pathological and electron microscopic examination revealed the disorder of myofibrils,augmentation of intercellular space,myolysis,accumulation of glycogen,and numerous bigger mitochondria among atrial cardiomyocytes in 3-mo AF goats.They recovered mostly in 6-mo post AF goats.Western blot showed that the band density of titin significantly reduced in 3-mo AF goats compared to SR ones [1826±319 vs 5012±854,P＜0.01].In 3-and 6-mo post AF goats,titin increased gradually and it reversed completely in 6-mo post AF goats (3841±601 and 4523±833 respectively,P ＜ 0.01).Conversely,the band density of α-SMA was significantly higher in 3-mo AF goats (5324±948) than in SR ones (1619± 271,P＜0.01).In 3-and 6-mo post-AF goats,α-SMA decreased gradually,and it recovered mostly in 6mo post AF goats (4437± 792 and 2205±540 respectively,P＜0.01,).Conclusions These data indicate that the reversal of dedifferentiation of atrial cardiomyocyts is a very slow process,and it is definitely essential for normal cardiac function.

Objective To investigate the effect of Roy Adaptation Model(RAM)in patients with adolescent insanity.Methods One hundred patients with adolescent insanity during October 2011 to March 2012 were randomized in equal number into two groups by random digit table:the study group and the control group.The former were intervened with RAM and the latter received routine care and health education.Seven weeks after intervention,Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) and Observation Scale(NOSIE)were used for the assessment. Results After intervention,the scores on HAMD and HAMA in the study group were significantly lower,compared to the control group(P<0.01).The scores on social function,social interest,subjective support and use of social support were all significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.01). Conclusions RAM can improve their ability of the patients with adolescent insanity to adapt to the environment.It may improve their mental state and their quality of life.

Objective To establish and evaluate animal model of adult rats with vitamin D deficient and assess the association of vitamin D deficiency and hypertension .Methods Adult SD rats were divided into 3 groups :normal controls group(feed with ordina-ry forage) ,vitamin D deficient groups(feed without vitamin D)and vitamin D control group(feed with vitamin D) ,which were fed with different diets under 12 h:12 h without ultraviolet light bulb(UV-B) .After treatment for 6 weeks ,Retinal blood was collect-ed ,and Serum vitamin D levels was tested by EIA every 2 weeks .Results After treatment for 10 weeks ,Serum level of vitamin D in vitamin D deficient group were reduced to 2 .07 nmol/L ,while vitamin D group and normal control group were measured as 56 .74 nmol/L and 57 .61 nmol/L ,there was no statistically significant difference between vitamin D group and normal control group (P>0 .05) .hypertension of vitamin D deficient group was significantly higher than other two groups .Conclusion It is feasible to estab-lish model of adult rats with vitamin D by UV-B free light and diets control ,hypertension of rats vitamin D deficiency has a signifi-cant rise compared with the control group .

The effect of chitosan with different molecular weight and deacetylation degree on blood hemostasis was tested. The experiments found evident alteration of red blood cell morphology and unusual coagglutination between erythrocytes in the anticoagulant blood which was treated by chitosan acetic acid solution. The red blood cells clot formation experiments showed that chitosan with low deacetylation degree (60%-70%) caused more red blood cells to assemble when compared versus chitosan with other deacetylation degrees. The effect of molecular weight between 10(5)-10(6) was not obvious. The thrombin time (TT), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), and concentration of fibrinogen (FIB) of blood treated by chitosan acetic acid solution were measured. The results proved that the hemostasis property of chitosan acetic acid solution was independent of the platelets and the normal "Cascade-like" coagulation pathway.
