Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2020;40(8):631-635
Objective:To explore the non-coverage rate (NCR) of occupational health examination for radiation workers. Methods:The occupational health examination data of 1 019 radiation workers were selected in 2019 in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. Statistical analyses were performed, on the one hand, based on the NCR of different examinations, including collection of personal basic information, blood pressure, internal medicine routine, dermatology, ophthalmology (color sensation, visual acuity, lens slit, vitreum, ocular fundus), DR chest X-ray, color B-ultrasound of abdomen and thyroid, ECG, blood (blood routine, biochemical test, thyroid function, micronucleus test or chromosomal aberrations analysis of peripheral blood lymphocytes) and urine routine. On the other hand, the analyses were also based on the NCR of various examinations for different occupational radiation categories, genders, age groups and medical institutions at different levels. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the NCR for 1 019 radiation workers ( χ2=2 580.657, P<0.05), with the highest value of 46.0% in DR chest X-ray examination, followed by urinary routine of 9.3%, and the lowest value of 0 in blood examination. The trend in NCR for radiation workers of different categories was higher in medical application than in industrial application ( χ2=93.969, P<0.05), and higher in women than in men ( χ2=24.228, P<0.05). Among different age groups, the NCR under the age of 30 was the highest, followed by above the age of 50, and the lowest over 40 years old ( χ2=12.623, P<0.05). As a whole, the higher the level of medical institutions was, the higher the overall NCR was ( χ2=24.725, P<0.05). Among different occupational groups of medical applications, the trend in NCR of each examination was: radiodiagnosis > interventional radiology > radiodiagnosis ( χ2=23.263, P<0.05). The NCR of the various examinations were higher in medical applications than in industrial applications including DR chest X-ray, color B-ultrasound of abdomen and thyroid, ECG, urine routine ( χ2=141.776, 13.801, 11.228, 5.465, 4.825, P<0.05) and higher in female than male including DR chest X-rays and urine routine( χ2=43.032, 23.247, P<0.05). Among different age groups, statistically significant differences in NCR were found ( χ2=14.285, 9.519, 7.958, 16.656, P<0.05) in color sensation and visual acuity, DR chest X-ray, color B-ultrasound of thyroid, urine routine. Between medical institutions at different levels, the NCR in color sensation and visual acuity, DR chest X-ray, ECG undetected rate were statistically significant ( χ2=12.328, 29.831, 15.342, P<0.05). There were statistical significance in NCR of DR chest X-ray and urine routine between different occupational groups of medical applications ( χ2=46.519, 14.109, P<0.05). Conclusions:Continued effort should be made to strengthen the health management of radiation workers and carry out occupational health examinations in strict accordance with the relevant national requirements.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2017;25(2):408-411
OBJECTIVETo investigate the correlation between the bone marrow fibrous proliferation and the prognosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML).
METHODSThe quantitative method was used to analyze the reticulin fiber density (RFD) of AML patients. the bone marrow sections from 39 primary AML patients and 35 normal controls were collected to compare the RFD between these 2 groups. The prognosis value of RFD for AML were estimated by using appropriate statistical analysis.
RESULTSRFD in primary AML was significantly higher than that in normal controls(2.41%±0.23% vs 1.14%±0.06%)(P<0.05). Relapse-free survival(RFS) analysis showed that the patients with RFD more than 1.68% indicated poor RFS, and the overall survival(OS) analysis showed that patients with RFD more than 2.66% indicated poor overall survival (P<0.05). Besides, there were no relationship between RFD and the BM blast count (r=0.01) and WBC counts (r=0.04) at diagnosis(P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe RFD in bone marrow is a high risk factor in poor prognosis of AML patients.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiangshabanxia nano-paste on nausea and vomiting in end-stage patients and its effect on the quality-of-life (QOL) in cancer patients. Methods 120 end-stage patients with nausea and vomiting symptoms above grade III were randomly divided into observation group and control group. They were treated with Jiangshabanxia nano-paste and placebo paste respectively. The paste patch was changed every 24 hours and used continuously for 7 days. The nausea and vomiting symptom score, the quality-of-life measurement score and KPS score of cancer patients in the two groups were observed to evaluate the curative effect. Results After 7 days of treatment, the symptom scores of nausea and vomiting in the observation group decreased significantly, the KPS score of the observation group increased, and the effective rate was higher than that in the control group. The score of QOL measurement showed that after treatment, the score of main symptom areas and other symptom areas (except external dyspnea, diarrhea and economic difficulties) in the observation group decreased, and the score of overall health area increased. After treatment, the score of main symptom areas and other symptom areas (except external dyspnea, diarrhea and economic difficulties) in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the scores of overall health area in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. Conclusion Jiangshabanxia nano-paste has a good clinical efficacy nausea and vomiting in end-stage patients, it also can improve the quality of life end-stage cancer patients.

To optimize the configuration of the conventional SE and FSE sequence parameters in low field MRI. With the combination of larger vision, relatively thinner slice thickness, small number of excitation (NEX = 1 or 2), the signal-to-noise ration and the spatial resolution on follow-up images are moderate, the scan time is significantly shorter along with fewer motion artifacts, the check success rate is improved.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the expression of CD47 molecules in patients with newly diagnosis of adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and its correlation with clinical prognosis.
METHODS:
20 patients with acute myeloid leukemia diagnosed in Shanghai Fengxian District Central hospital from April 2020 to October 2021 and 5 cases with non malignant hematological diseases in the control group were collected, and the expression of CD47 in single nuclear cells of bone marrow and peripheral blood was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Combined with the blood image, bone marrow smears, flow cytometry, chromosome and gene detection, ECOG score, etc. during the patient's initial diagnosis, the relationship between the patient's prognosis and CD47 was evaluated.
RESULTS:
The expression of CD47 in bone marrow (P=0.0115) and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (P=0.0069) in new diagnosis AML patients was significantly higher than that of controls. In bone marrow mononuclear cells, the total survival time of patients with high CD47 expression was less than that of CD47 low expression patients (P=0.036). There was statistical significance in difference stratification group (P=0.012), but there was no statistical significance between CD47 expression and survival time in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (P=0.116). There were no statistical significance between bone marrow mononuclear cell CD47 expression and gene mutation fusion genes related to leukemia , CD34+, CD38+, CD123+ (P>0.05). The proportion of bone marrow protocells in AML patients was >50%, the ECOG score was >2 points, MLLELL fusion gene and chromosome prognosis stratification were all risk factors affecting the survival of patients (P=0023, 0.036, 0.012, 0.001, respectively). The high expression of bone marrow CD47 in AML patients indicated a high risk of recurrence (P=0.017).
CONCLUSION
The high expression of bone marrow mononuclear cell CD47 in AML patients indicates poorer survival and higher risk of recurrence.
