Objective To explore the clinical significance and safety in hemihepatectomy for hepatoma without inflow occlusion. Methods A total of 62 patients with liver cancer were divided into 2 groups. The inflow was occluded in group A (n = 28) and not occluded in group B (n = 34) during hepatectomy.Subsequently, the influence of the two approaches on the parameters including intraoperative blood loss, postoperative hepatic function and complications incidence rate was comparatively analyzed. Results Hepatectomy was successfully performed in the two groups. There was no significant difference between the two groups in intraoperative blood loss (P > 0.05).Significant difference existed between the two groups in postoperative hepatic function and complications incidence rate (P < 0.05).Conclusions The hemihepatectomy for hepatoma without inflow occlusion can reduce complications incidence rate and profit the recovery of postoperative hepatic function parameters.

Objective To study the incidence frequency of prothrombin G20210A (FⅡ G20210A)mutation in the patients with pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE)in northeast China, and to clarify the predictive value of FⅡG20210A mutation detection in PTE of the population in northeast China. Methods 60 PTE patients(PTE group) and 80 sex-matched healthy controls(control group)from the same geographic area were selected. All the patients were diagnosed by lung ventilation/perfusion scan and/or multi-slice CT pulmonary angiography(CTPA)as well as medical history. The genome DNA was extracted from the whole blood using alcohol.Polymerase chain reaction (PCR),restriction fragment length polymorphisms(RFLP)analysis with HindⅢ restriction enzyme and sepharose gel electrophoresis were used to identify the F Ⅱ G20210A mutation in PTE group and control group. Results After digested by HindⅢ restriction enzyme, only the fragments of 407 and 99 bp were found in PTE group. The frequency of FⅡ G20210A mutation was 0%,there was no statistical difference compared with contol group(P>0.05).There were no heterozygote and homozygote mutation of FⅡ G202210A gene in PTE group and control group. Conclusion The incidence of FⅡ G20210A mutation in the PTE patients in northeast China is very low,and the detection of FⅡ G20210A mutation may have no predictive value in PTE of the population in northeast China.

Objective To observe the changes of peripheral blood CD27+B cells percentage in patients with HBV-related disease of different severity and the clinical significance. Methods 20 cases of chronic viral hepatitis B,23 cases of HBV-related liver cirrhosis,21 cases of liver cancer were selected,25 cases of healthy controls in the corresponding period who had the physical examination were set as the healthy control group. The peripheral blood in the healthy controls and the patients with HBV-related disease was collected. The cellular immune level changes and CD27+ B cells percentage was detected by flow cytometry, the humoral immunity was detected by immune transmission turbidty method:IgM,IgD.Results (1)Compared with the healthy control group,CD27+B cells percentage significantly decreased in the three groups of patients with HBV-related disease [(5.16 ± 0.36) % vs.(4.52 ± 0.22) %,(2.24 ± 0.15) %,(0.58 ± 0.02) %,F =4.32,P < 0.05],and the downward trend gradually obvious as the disease degree exacerbated.nnnnn(2)IgM,IgD in the three groups of HBV related disease patients rised obviously, and the increase range became more obvious as the disease degree exacerbation(F =3.29,5.23,P =0.02,0.03).Conclusion CD27+B cells has a close relationship with HBV-related disease, and rebuilding the body's immune defense system is great importance for evaluating prognosis and the clinical guidance in HBV-related disease.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
Teaching the foreign students clinical medicine in English in the earlier period of foreign students education has played a vital role but also has such problems as teachers, difficulties in the later teaching and so on.Through practice we find that it is necessary to transit the mode from teaching in English to bilingual education, and finally teaching in Chinese in the internship to conform with the present medical foreign students education situation. Therefore ability of teaching in English and proficiency in Chinese are needed to improved as soon as possible.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of berneol on sodium valproate passing the blood-brain barrier in rabbits.Methods12 rabbits were randomly divided into the control group and borneol group with 6 animals in each group. All animals were treated with intravenous infusion of sodium valproate until steady state; while the rabbits of the borneol group received oral borneol. The sodium valproate concentration in serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was determined. The pharmacokinetics parameters obtained from two groups were analyzed. ResultsIn the berneol group, the mean drug concentration in CSF and area under curve increased significantly ( P<0.05) compared with those of the control group, and the time of drug reaching the peak concentration in CSF was 6 hours, the ratio of CSF to plasma also increased significantly ( P<0.05), while the blood concentration not increased.ConclusionBorneol can enhance the permeability of blood-brain barrier to sodium valproate, but has small influence on blood concentration.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2011;36(8):1050-1053
OBJECTIVETo analyze the volatile oil of olibanum and apply scientific evidences for its applications.
METHODThe volatile oil was analyzed by GC-MS.
RESULTOne hundred components were identified, accounting for 91.26% of the total volatile oil, and the main components were octyl acetate, beta-elemene. It contains some transdermal absorption enhancers.
CONCLUSIONThe components of olibanum volatile oil were complicated; the connatural transdermal absorption enhancers make it possible to use in external preparation.

The effect of sucrose polyester (SPE) on cholesterol levels in sera of rats under hypercholesteremic diet and of artificial hypercholesterolemia was observed. The results showed that in experiment Ⅰ when SPE 3 gra/rat/day was administered orally in accompanying with hypercholesteremic diet for 20 days, the elevation of cholesterol levels in sera of rats were obviously less than that of the group without SPE (P

Objective To investigate the association among oligospermatism, azoospermatism in male sterility patients and micro-deletion in AZF gene of Y chromosome and to establish a integrate clinical diagnostic method for screening micro-deletion in AZF gene in Chinese. Methods PCR method was used to detect micro-deletion in AZF gene in 62 oligospermatism and azoospermatism patients and 20 normal male controls. Results 13.64%(6/44) of oligospermatism patients and 22.22%(4/18) of azoospermatism patients presented micro-deletion.However,micro-deletion was not found in 20 normal male controls.Furthermore,micro-deletion occur mostly in AZFc region. Conclusion Micro-deletion of AZF gene from Y chromosome is one of the major risks for oligospermatism and azoospermatism.
