Objective To study the efficacy and safety of transverse compression suture in the lower uterine segment for the control of postpartum haemorrhage in cesarean section caused by placenta previa. Methods From Jan 2011 to Jan 2013, 21 patients with postpartum haemorrhage in cesarean section due to placenta previa were given transverse compression suture in the lower uterine segment after routine medical treatment. And the hemostatic efficacy and safety were observed. Results 20 cases of the vaginal bleeding were controlled efficient-ly, with an efficiency of 95. 2%. There was no complication occurred, and menstruation were back to normal during the follow-up, and there was nothing abnormal in the uterine double accessories through B ultrasound reexamination. Conclusion Transverse compression suture in the lower uterine segment is an easy, safe and highly effective surgical technique, it is especially suitable for the control of haemorrhage in the lower uterine segment caused by placenta previa.

Objective To investigate the pathogenesis of small cell lung cancer ( SCLC) and to ex-plore the expression of cell cycle related kinase ( CCRK) in SCLC and its clinical significance. Methods Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) and Western blot were performed to examine ex-pression of CCRK in SCLC and normal tissues. Results The expressions of gene [(0.51 ±0.11)IU/L] and protein [(0.61 ±0.13)IU/L] of CCRK in SCLC tissues were significantly higher than normal tissues [(0.30 ±0.08)IU/L, (0.34 ±0.09)IU/L] ( P <0.05).The expression of CCRK was closely correlated with the clinical curative effect ( P <0.05 ) rather than the clinical stages ( P >0.05 ) .Conclusions The expressions of gene and protein of CCRK in SCLC tissues were significantly higher than normal tissues. CCRK promoted the occurrence and progress of SCLC.Chem can restrain effectually the excessive expres-sion of CCRK.The expressions of gene and protein of CCRK in the different clinical curative effect group had significant difference.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical application value of MR amide proton transfer weighted imaging (APTWI) in predicting the pathological grade of brainstem glioma (BSG).Methods:The data of 41 BSG patients in Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University from August 2019 to June 2020 who underwent both MRI and APTWI 2 weeks before surgery and had pathological grading results were retrospectively analyzed. According to the pathological results, 41 patients were classified into high-grade BSG (20 patients) and low-grade BSG (21 patients). Combined with conventional MR images, the signal intensity (%) of amide proton transfer (APT) in the parenchymal area of the tumor was obtained on APTWI images. χ 2 test or independent sample t-test was used to analyze the differences in gender distribution, age and APT signal intensity between patients with high and low grade BSG. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to predict the efficacy of APT signal intensity in the differential diagnosis of high and low grade BSG, and Youden index was calculated to obtain the optimal diagnostic threshold; the predictive ability of APT signal intensity was analyzed in combination with Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit test. Results:There was no significant difference in age [(23±18) years, (20±17) years, t=0.97, P=0.340] and gender distribution (9/11, 9/12 for males/females, χ 2=0.02, P=0.890) between high-grade and low-grade BSG patients. The APT signal intensity of high-grade BSG [(3.9±0.9)%] was significantly higher than that of low-grade BSG [(2.8±0.9)%], and the difference had statistical significance ( t=4.16, P<0.001). The area under the ROC curve of APT signal intensity to distinguish high-grade and low grade BSG was 0.836, and with 2.85% as the optimal diagnostic threshold of APT signal intensity, its sensitivity for the diagnosis of high-grade BSG was 90.0% and specificity was 71.4%. The Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed that APTWI had a good predictive ability for BSG grade (χ 2=13.33, P=0.101). Conclusion:APTWI can be applied in distinguishing high grade BSG from low grade BSG, and has clinical value in predicting glioma grading.

Objective:To investigate the targeted motion and controllable release of tumor drugs based on micromotor. Methods:The directional movement of Janus micro-capsules was achieved through an external magnetic field, and the controllable release of tumor drugs was induced by near-infrared laser. Results:During the same period, the movement speed of the Janus capsules micromotor was the fastest(36.8 μm·s-1,approximately equalled to 3 body length·s-1) in 15% H2O2solution. Under the control of the external magnetic field, the Janus capsules micromotor could move along the scheduled trajectory close to the area of HeLa cells. Through the irradiation of near-infrared laser, the Janus capsules micromotor was broken and released the loaded drugs quickly. Conclusion:The Janus capsule micromotor studied in the paper can be used for targeted drug delivery safely and effectively, therefore,it shows good application prospect in the field of tumor diagnosis and treatment.

Messenger RNA (mRNA) can be modified by more than 100 chemical modifications. Among these modifications, N6-methyladenosine (m⁶A) is one of the most prevalent modifications. During the processes of cells differentiation, embryo development or stress, m⁶A can be modified on key mRNAs and regulate the progress of cells through modulating mRNA metabolism and translation. Other mRNA modifications, including N1-methyladenosine (m¹A), 5-methylcytosine (m⁵C) and pseudouridine, together with m⁶A form the epitranscriptome of mRNA that accurately modulate the mRNA translation. Here we review the types and characteristic of mRNA epigenetic modifications, especially the recent progresses of the function of m⁶A, we also expect the main research direction of m⁶A epigenetic modification in the future.
