Objective To explore the clinical significance of early biomarkers in neonatal asphyxia diagnosis with myocardial damage by detection of ischemia modified albumin in neonatal serum(IMA) and glycogen phosphorylase isoenzyme BB(GPBB) for screening sensitive markers with direct myocardial injury. Methods 166 neonates were selected in our hospital as the research object,in which 136 cases with myocardial injury dividend into the experimental group and 30 cases into the control group. The experimental group were divided into mild group and severe group according to the degree of asphyxia. All the children were tested for GPBB and IMA 1 h after admission. Results The levels of GPBB in neonatal asphyxia myocardial injury group and severe asphyxia group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity of GPBB in diagnosis of asphyxia was higher than that of IMA,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The degree of asphyxia is closely related to serum IMA,GPBB level in neonatal asphyxia complicated with myocardial injury. The sensitivity and specificity of GPBB in diagnosis asphyxia is better than IMA in children complicated with myocardial damage.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of prenatal ultrasound in fetal meningocele and encephalocele. Methods Thirty nine fetuses with meningocele and encephalocele confirmed by prenatal ultrasound and abortion were acquired and their clinical data and sonographic features were retrospectively analyzed. Results Ultrasound screening in 111 620 cases showed 39 fetuses were with meningocele and encephalocele, accounting for 0.35%.Among them,16 cases were diagnosed with meningocele (including 1 case with two bulging parts) and 23 cases with encephalocele.Prenatal ultrasound could clearly detect the location and size fetal skull defect, and bulging features.According to their sonographic features, meningocele or encephalocele was determined. Conclusion Ultrasound could be a reliable prenatal screening method, provide an important basis for clinical intervention and have a significant clinical value in fetal meningocele and encephalocele.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of plasmapheresis plus acupoint injection in treating severe hepatitis. MethodSixty patients with severe hepatitis were randomized into a treatment group of 31 cases and a control group of29 cases. The two groups both received plasmapheresis in addition to the comprehensive internal medicine treatment, while thetreatment group simultaneously received acupoint injection withHuang Qi(Radix Astragali) at Zusanli (ST 36). After the intervention, the symptoms, signs, liver function, blood coagulation, and blood ammonia were observed in the two groups.ResultAfter the intervention, the symptoms, signs, and biochemical indexes were significantly improved, and theindexes in the treatment group were significantly different from that in the control group (P<0.05,P<0.01), and the total effective rate of the treatment group was markedly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionPlasmapheresis plus acupoint injection can effectively improve the short-term condition of the patients, enhance therapeutic efficacy, with fewer adverse reactions.

Objective To investigate the influence of plasma exchange with acupuncture point injection therapy on liver fibrosis indexes in patients with severe hepatitis. Methods Sixty patients with severe hepatitis were randomly divided into group A with 29 cases receiving plasma replacement and group B of 31 cases receiving astragalus injection at Zusanli point in addition to plasma replacement. Changes of liver fibrosis indexes including serum hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN), collagenⅣ(Ⅳ-C), typeⅢpre-collagen (PCⅢ) were observed, which were compared with those from group C with 30 healthy subjects. Results Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in comparison of liver fibrosis index in group A and B (P>0.05), but all the indexes were higher than those in group C (P<0.001). After treatment, the level of each index in group A and B was down with a more significant change in group B and the comparison of both groups indicated statistical significance (P<0.05 or P <0.001);Compared with those in group C, changes ofⅣ-C, PCⅢin group B showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion Plasma exchange with astragalus injection at Zusanli point can effectively improve liver fibrosis indexes in patients with severe hepatitis and then improve the prognosis of patients.

PurposeTo explore the value of prenatal ultrasound in diagnosis of fetuses with limb body wall complex (LBWC).Material and MethodsThe ultrasound images and follow-up results were studied retrospectively in 20 cases of LBWC, and the ultrasonic features of LBWC were analyzed.ResultsAll 20 cases showed rather severe body wall defect and spinal abnormality, including 16 cases of abdominal wall defect, 4 cases of abdominal thoracoabdominal defect, 8 cases of idiopathic scoliosis, 2 cases of kyphosis, 3 cases of twist into a corner, 1 cases of distortion as S shape, and 6 cases of vertebral body arranged in disorder. Moreover, 16 cases presented abnormal umbilical cord, among which 11 had too short umbilical cord, 1 without umbilical cord, and 7 as single umbilical artery (3 cases with short cord). Five cases showed limb abnormalities, among which 2 cases were left lower limb absence, 1 cases as left upper limb absent, 1 cases as left foot varus and right foot slightly varus, and 1 cases as left foot drop.ConclusionPrenatal ultrasonography can accurately diagnose LBWC in time, so as to provide evidence for early clinical intervention.
